Sunil Shetty refused to work in Singh is Kinng

All were shocked when Vipul Shah managed to get the alleged rivals Suniel Shetty and Akshay Kumar together for his film Singh Is Kinng . It may have been a casting coup of sorts, if their rivalry was for real. But Akshay didn’t think there was even a spark of truth in this tittle-tattle. “If we really didn’t get along, then why should he co-produce a film like Bhagam Bhaag , or even cast me in it? There’s no problem between us.” However, the majority just don’t seem to believe this. And rumours of their enmity are still rife.

Anyway, only recently Shetty, who was initially to be a part of Vipul’s next venture starring Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif, opted out of the film. Shah explains, “We tried coordinating the dates, but unfortunately Suniel is required to be on the sets of his home production venture Mission Istanbul . We will certainly work together at the next given opportunity.” Apparently, Suniel was to shoot a 25-day long schedule for Singh… in Gold Coast, Australia. But the actor-producer could not be away from his home production venture, Mission Istanbul for such a long time and had to even resolve some problems in Turkey where the film is being shot.

But filmmaker Vipul assures us that getting Akshay and Suniel together in one frame is definitely not Mission Impossible .
