Ranbir Kapoor is so cute says Amrita Rao

On one hand she has bagged a few big projects with some of the most happening male stars, on the other hand, she’s got a brand new sensuous look, even as her heart goes aflutter over chikna Ranbir Kapoor. She confesses it all to CT.

The jell-O effect!

Ask her if it is true that Ranbir Kapoor turns her legs into jell-O and Amrita confesses amidst many giggles, “I met Ranbir for the first time at the premiere of Saawariya and I find him very cute. Despite being so busy, he was really sweet to me. After that Ranbir and I have been sending SMSes to each other.” So love is brewing finally on this front? “Please,” she coos, adding, “I just find him very charming and I would love to work with him.”

Going places

Interestingly, this lassie has quietly moved up the ladder on the career front in a short span of time, and that too without a godfather.

Amrita is now working with the younger lot of heroes including Harman Baweja and Nikhil Dwivedi, who have been slotted in the ‘Rs 1 crore plus’ bracket. She happily admits, “I am looking forward to my forthcoming films My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves and Victory. Then Anil Kapoor’s new film is also quite exciting.”

Upping the oomph factor

With career going great guns, the young lady has also started shedding inhibitions. That probably explains her sultry new look and miniskirts. Try rubbing it in and Amrita again breaks into that trademark giggle and says, “This new look is for one of my new films, wherein I am supposed to have a lot of glam quotient and attitude.” Does that mean, she’s ready for the item numbers as well? “Of course! If it is something like Kajra re, I am all for it!”

Not jealous of Madhuri Dixit

What does she feel about her longtime admirer MF Husain going ahead and booking an entire theatre for Madhuri’s comeback film and Amrita replies in that cool-as-a-cucumber tone, “It was me whom he first told about his plans to host the premiere of Madhuri’s film in Dubai. I am certainly not jealous! I am actually thrilled that after her, he chose me as his muse!”
Kudos to Bebo Ask her what she has to say about Bebo being the brand new queen bee of Bollywood and Amrita says, “She’s been around for quite sometime and her recent film has really done very well.” And what’s her advice to Bebo’s ex boyfriend Shahid? “Work hard and become the next superstar! You can do it,” says Amrita.
