Kareena has changed her looks for ‘Tashan’
Kareena is quoted as saying in a report, “Before this film started I knew that for this character to look different than what I have done before, I have to train really hard to kind of change the shape of my body.”
“A lot of actresses abroad do that, they work on one film at a time, change their look for a particular film body wise as well, people lose weight or put on weight as required for the character. For ‘Tashan’ it was a conscious effort to change my body structure and work towards it because I wanted to look lean. The character involves a lot of action, and I think a lean girl doing action always looks much better.”
“I trained really hard for about eight to nine months and was on a strict diet regime because that’s the only way this will look different from every other film. The response has been phenomenal. I am actually enjoying it and have got used to it.”
Scheduled to release on April 25, ‘Tashan’ also stars Anil Kapoor , Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan .

On the verge of its release, Saif obviously has reasons to be excited. “I always thought of Race as a smart and sexy thriller,” he says. “It’s a fun, entertaining movie with masala twists and turns.” Commenting on his super-rich look, he says, “The styling was very important. The two brothers own a stud farm and are rich. Hence, the feel of the film needed to be like that.” Ask him to speak about his role and he’s more than ready. “I play a cool businessman who is nice as long as the competition is face-to-face. However, if someone backstabs him, he won’t hesitate to kill him.”

Says a high-end shoe shopowner, “Since the past several years, we’ve always had just one row for boots and we’ve never stocked more than five to six pairs. However, this year, we have an entire wall displaying only boots in all shapes and styles. From models to collegians, everyone’s going for them. They are suddenly in great demand.” 
On Tuesday, Kareena who’s been on a vertiginous high since the release of Jab We Met finally starting shooting a new film at Film City at the outskirts of Mumbai.

Salman Khan is not promoting girlfriend Katrina Kaif but actress Mahek Chahal these days. Salman’s banner has signed Mahek, of Nayee Padosan fame, for its next home production, Main Aur Mrs Khanna. Following reports that all is not well between Salman and his girlfriend, the latest buzz in the industry is that Salman has developed a liking for Mahek and therefore has been promoting her. According to sources, the actor got to know her during one of his shows and felt that she had a lot of potential. Mahek was to be launched by Abbas-Mustan in Ajnabee. The role later went to Bipasha Basu. Salman has also been recommending Mahek to many of his producer friends. In fact, Salman and Mahek seem to share more than professional interests. Mahek has often been seen on the sets of Salman’s films even if she isn’t involved in the project. She was there with the actor during the outdoor shooting of his film, Wanted Dead Or Alive. Apparently, Salman even offered Mahek a song in the film, even though he is not the film’s producer. Mahek was launched by producer Nitin Manmohan in Nayee Padosan, which was a box office disaster. Although she has been in the industry for a while, she has not been able to make any impact. Incidentally, the actress had previously been linked with Sanjay Dutt.
Within a short span of her filmy journey, beautiful Katrina Kaif has made a big space in the heart of her fans. She has a great fan following. People like her a lot but she likes stylish Hrithik Roshan. She was impressed with his performance in Jodhaa Akbar.
