Javed Akhtar on Young Talents

Javed Saab has been seen judging many reality shows. We wonder why he hasn’t teamed up with Shabana yet to judge one such event. He has a simple response. “If you call us together, we’ll come together. So far, nobody has bothered to invite us to judge a show as a couple.” Javed and Shabana are known to encourage young talent. Javed spoke about a talent hunt held recently, which he judged. According to him, even budding talent from small towns needs to be given adequate encouragement and exposure. He said, “This time we decided to go beyond Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore and Mumbai. We went to small towns like Gwalior looking for promising talented children.” Let’s hope their efforts pay off.
