Before the creative juices seep in your creative minds, let us clarify that giving ‘birth’ to crocodiles is a very easy task at the Sriracha Tiger Zoo in Bangkok.

Dia Mirza visited the Sriracha Tiger Zoo during the croc egg-breaking festival during the IIFA weekend in Bangkok. An ecstatic Dia said that holding a baby crocodile in her palms was indeed a strange experience in itself as there were scores of crocodile eggs, most of them already cracked. Along with the caretaker, Dia had to get the baby crocodile out of the shell, cut the umbilical cord, and then bathe it in warm water!

But this process was not as easy as much as it sounds. Dia said that firstly the eggs were all sticky and full of goo. Then the baby croc that popped out was all smeared in blood! And when someone asked Dia if she would undergo the ‘delivery process’ once again, she quickly replied that helping in giving birth to one croc was more than enough for her.

So can we say that Dia has turned mother of a croc baby. What say ? Source

Preity Zinta is considered as the lucky girl of bollywood since she met Dina Wadia, Ness Wadia’s grandmother.

“The  first time I  met Dina Wadia I stared at her open-mouthed. My goodness! She carries so much history within her. Since then we’ve met over dinner and other social  occasions several times. Each time I’m struck by her  gentle demeanour , her  classic elegance, and yes,  her fragility.”says Preity. While speaking about one of her favourite  women, Preity’s voice lights up. She continues, “She’s so beautiful, so fragile. I was also struck by her unmistakable facial resemblance to her distinguished father (Jinnah).  They look like father  and daughter all right! I’ve never seen two people  who resemble one another so closely.”

Preity says she has met Dina Wadia both in Mumbai and abroad. “She lives in New York. But she  visits Mumbai where she has close family. The last time when they met Dina Wadia wanted to know about Preity’s IPL matches. “She has so much to tell. And I just want to sit and keep on listening to her.

She takes a lot of interest in my life. The last time we met she wanted to know all about the IPL matches. I was surprised, why would  someone of  her stature want to know what I’m doing? She’s so important  to our times as  a woman and a figure in history and  yet conveys so much joie de vivre in her  attitude.” Source

Shilpa Shetty is all set to join the Bachchans on their Unforgettable Tour in London and the lady seems quite excited about it. The actress has already begun rooting for the Bachchan’s ‘Unforgettable Tour’ in London. The actress will be performing alongside Big B, Abhishek Bachchan, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Madhuri Dixit.

“Since I’ve done a musical, this will be a cake walk for me,” says the confident actress. The actress puts the rumours about her writing an autobiography to rest as she says she doesn’t have the time. “I don’t have time to write my diary when I will write my autobiography,” says Shilpa. And if one were hoping that sparks would fly when Shilpa meets her ex-flame Akshay Kumar during the tour, one is in for a disappointment. “I don’t think Akshay is part of the London tour, as far as I know he’s doing the Toronto bit,” she says.

The most important rumour about the actress these days is that a certain Raj Kundra may have just popped the question, but its only because of the rock on Shilpa’s finger that is grabbing all the attention, but the lady in good spirit says, “This is just a trailer.”

Dia who made her debut with Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein opposite Madhavan is now all set to plays a girl locked up in a factory with four men with apparently no way out, in Suparn Verma’s Acid Factory. She’s being made to do the most impossible stunts. But Diya doesn’t mind.

Diya is the only woman in the entire script. “What I enjoy is being one of the boys. I’m doing everything that the boys are being made to do. And that includes all the stunts.

After playing dainty utterly feminine roles I’m enjoying being put on a harness dangling from ropes, jumping from heights, kicking and punching. In spite of my dainty image I’ve always been a tomboy. My character is bad through and through. No apologies. No justification. She just enjoys being bad. I like bringing that dark side of me out on screen because there’s way I can tap into it in real life.” More

However her fans, as well as Ayesha have pinned a lot of hope on Boney Kapoor’s Pokkiri remake, tentatively titled, Wanted Dead And Alive, opposite none other than Salman Khan. The movie will be Ayesha’s first big, full -fledged commercial flick, where believe it or not, her fans will be treated to quite a few dance numbers by Ayesha.  

Though Tacky baby is not such a great jiver in Wanted Dead And Alive she has got a chance to prove and showcase her dancing skills. She is being helped by none other than the director of the film, Prabhu Deva, who of course is a great dancer and an ace choreographer himself. And with Prabhu at the helm of affairs, one can be sure of some super dance tracks!

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, the most beautiful woman on the earth is suffering from German measles (Rubella infection), a viral infection characterized by fever, swollen and painful lymph nodes, and a runny nose.

Aishwarya Rai’s manager Hari Singh has said that she will not be available for about 10 to 15 days for any promo or shooting as she is suffering from a bout of fever and is advised total rest by the doctor.
He confirmed that Aishwarya Rai has signed Robot and another production by Mani Ratnam, and also that she will be given a 2-month break from Shankar’s Robot when filming for Mani Ratnam’s film commences.

Harman Baweja the latest craze in the bollywood, who debuts in ‘Love Story 2050′, admits that he’s truly nervous about getting signed on by five top filmmakers even before his first film is out.

The newcomer is the only debutant to have got five big banner projects in his kitty, including films by established directors like Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Ashutosh Gowariker, Anees Bazmee and Manmohan Shetty. Harman is nervous and says there is already a lot of pressure to perform and live up to these ace directors’ expectations.

‘I love dancing though I am not technically into it. Kamal Haasan’s ‘Tandav’ inspired me to train in Kathak for a year and a half. Otherwise, all my childhood I’ve imitated Michael Jackson and Prabhu Deva,’ said Harman. ‘I am not actually competing with anyone. Acting is not a sport; it’s creativity. I enjoy doing what I am doing and I’ll continue doing it.’

Asked about his on-screen chemistry with girlfriend Priyanka Chopra in ‘Love Story 2050′, Harman said: ‘Priyanka is my senior and has worked far more than me. She got involved in the whole process as a team. She’s a perfect co-star.’ The debutant says the film, which releases July 4, is very special for him as his whole family was involved in its making. ‘My dad has directed the film, my mom’s produced it while my sister is the senior assistant director, apart from me acting in it!’ marks Harman. Veteran Director Priyadarshan admits he had written the female lead of his forthcoming movie ‘Billo Barber’ with favourite actress Tabu in mind but had to settle for Lara Dutta instead due to date problems.

Priyadarshan and Tabu have done great work together in films like ‘Viraasat’ and ‘Kala Pani’. The versatile actress even agreed to do an inconsequential role in ‘Hera Pheri’ only for Priyadarshan’s sake. ‘Billo Barber’ is being produced by superstar Shah Rukh Khan.

Said Priyadarshan: ‘It’s a role of a full-on firebrand village girl. And it’s patterned on Tabu’s role in my ‘Viraasat’. I’ve to admit I think of Tabu for every female lead. But Lara is sensitive and strong enough to carry this role off with elaan.’ He said that Lara plays the wife of a barber, portrayed by Irrfan Khan. ‘Though the character belongs to a higher caste, she defies social norms and the diktats of the village to marry a barber. Lara’s sophisticated image hasn’t come in the way of her performance at all. She’ll shock you,’ Priyadarshan says.

A source close to the project said: ‘There was a certain amount of reservation about the part when Lara heard it was opposite Irrfan. Lara is extremely conscious of her co-stars’ status. Earlier she had refused Anil Kapoor’s ‘Short Cut’ with Arshad Warsi.  ‘But the temptation of being in the same film with Shah Rukh prevailed. She had never been in any film with him and he’s producing ‘Billo Barbar’. She sees this as stepping stone to a film with Shah Rukh.’  Source

Its been quite sometime since we have heard about Ranbir Kapoor and his girlfriend Deepika Padukone. But that doesn’t mean that they are not having fun. In fact, they are having good time together away from the limelight.

It is said that the couple had a wonderful time shooting for Bachna Eh Haseeno in Sydney. If sources are to be believed Deepika was in playful mood. She rolled up a paper and started scratching Ranbir’s air, who was in the front seat of the car. She and her co-star Hiten Paintal took turns in playing with the actor, who was half asleep. At first, Ranbir warned the duo but got confused later, as they pretended to be in serious conversation.

Believe it or not but yes, Manisha is buying herself a home in Paris. She has already zeroed in on Saint Germaine as the locality in Paris where she wants to make herself a reliable getaway.

“I’ve been away from Mumbai for so long. It’s good to be back. Mumbai will always be my home. But Paris and I seem to be attached in strange unexpected ways. I’ve always found the city extremely romantic. Paris just oozes art culture tradition and bonhomie. Every time I go there I feel completely at home.”

Recently Manisha took a longish break to be in Paris alone. “And I absolutely loved it. That’s when I decided I wanted a second home. I’m in the process of buying my dream home there. But Mumbai will always be home.
Family, says Manisha, comes first for her above career and self-fulfilment. “Recently we were all together when my father fell ill. I saw how my mother looked after my father. Some day in the near future I hope to be an equally good wife and mother.” More

Bollywood bombshell Bipasha Basu has always had a soft corner for Italy. While she had holidayed there in the past, recently she was there for the shoot of Bachna Ae Haseeno. Bipasha,who is currently shooting for an ad, talks about her Italian eperience, “Rome and Capri are beautiful cities. Last time, I was here on holiday, this time it was for work. Both were trips to remember. I had so much fun we visited the Vatican, Cherry Fountain, the Lion Fountain at Piazza Del Poppolo, the Colloseum in Rome and many other places.”

She says, “I shopped very little. Apart from the fact that Rome is extremely expensive, I have been going easy on what I call my ‘fizul kharcha’. 

Apart from that, Bipasha finds the people of Rome very friendly. “The people are wonderful and warm. And they dress impeccably. Italians are very fashionable.”

Bipasha is also a big fan of the Italian cooking, “Nothing beats pizza, pasta and sea food in Italian cuisine. Their fish and shrimps are fantastic. Of course, I had an interesting experience too. I had to go in for a root canal and was extremely apprehensive about doing it in Rome. I didn’t know the doctor there and he didn’t understand a word of English but the operation went off well. He was one of the best dentists of Rome.” Source
