Aishwarya Rai - The Big Deal Is Over - Poor Baby

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s inclusion in the sequel to The Pink Panther was supposed to be a big deal.  The actress was signed opposite Steve Martin and talked about her excitement and her big part in the film. But she is missing from the posters of the film that are just out.

The film, which releases in February 2009, has started its promotional activities, and the one factor that stands out is Ash’s exclusion from the campaign. Especially because in the original, the publicity of the film had begun with leading lady Beyonce Knowles.

Aishwarya is not only missing from the film’s first theatrical promo but also the movie posters. In the first promo for the film, Steve Martin appears as Inspector Clouseau, unsuccessfully trying to purchase a ticket to see a movie at an American theatre. Source
