Himesh Reshammiya Refuses To Sing For A. R. Rahman – Gutsy Show

The musician, the singer, the actor Himesh Reshammiya has recently turned down the offer from maestro of music A.R. Rehman politely and instead requested Rahman to give music for one of his films where he will act and sing too.

Rahman was very keen to have Himesh sing a certain composition as he felt that Himesh’s voice would suit the song very well. The song in question was being made for a big budget film. However sticking to his new policy to sing and compose only for the films he will act in, Himesh refused to sing for Rehman.

Further, it seems Himesh truly has a head for economics. Its recession time and Himesh has realised that to survive in the industry, he needs a lot of films to keep him floating through the bad times. And the best way to go about it, is to reduce the remuneration fees. Himesh has cut his price. And to top it, he gives free music in the films he acts, as an added bonus.
