Hrithik Replaces Salman In Bhansali’s Hollywood Remake

Our sources have it that Salman has vowed never to work again with Sanjay Leela Bhansali who was instrumental in giving the star two of his most memorable films. Apparently Salman got angry with Mr.Bhansali after he decided to rope in Hrithik for a remake of the Hollywood film ‘The Prestige’.

Salman got hooked up after catching up the foreign film and asked Sanjay whether it would be possible for him to make another movie with the same subject. The director got interested and gave a positive response to the first muscle man of B-town. This happened some months back and recently when Salman was conversing with Hrithik Roshan, he received the most unexpected information.

Hrithik told him that Mr.Bhansali had approached him for a movie based on a subject similar to what was shown in ‘The Prestige’. That was enough for Salman to be go over the top. He had always thought that Sanjay will make the movie with him as he gave him the idea first.

Now someone else had taken his place and the filmmaker did not even inform him about it.‘The Prestige’ directed by Christopher Nolan came out in 2006 and told the story of two magicians played by Hugh Jackman and Christian Bale. The intense professional rivalry between magicians and the dangerous extent to which they can go to do the most enchanting and puzzling tricks formed the core of the film.
