Sizzling divas Kareena Kapoor and Kajol will be seen together again for an upcoming Karan Johar production which is inspired by the Hollywood hit ‘Stepmom’. Even though the film is yet to go on the floors, the two actresses have begun bonding like best friends. Kajol, who loves reading books and is a literary inclined person, has reportedly started suggesting some books to Kareena. May be Kareena can also start teaching her fitness mantra to Kajol.
Kareena is even quoted as saying that Kajol is “more than a best friend” and a source of “inspiration” for her. Kareena admits she has always admired Kajol and has developed a lovely relation with her of late. In fact, Bebo also wants to be a part of celebrations when Kajol’s movie Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge makes a world record for running 750 weeks at Maratha Mandir, Mumbai.
In the Hindi version of ‘Stepmom’, Kareena will essay the character of Julia Roberts. The movie will be directed by newcomer Siddharth Malhotra, who is the producer of Tele-serial ‘Sanjeevani’. Johar has reportedly bought the remake rights of the Hollywood movie. Source
Bollywood director Vipul Amrutlal Shah has done what only a few filmmakers have managed. He’s got the permission to shoot his film London Dreams at the Louvre Museum in Paris where ‘The Da Vinci Code’ was shot. There’s a romantic song in the film that has Salman Khan wooing Asin at the Louvre.
Though the film’s unit wasn’t allowed anywhere close to the priceless paintings inside the museum (even Tom Hanks wasn’t allowed to shoot there), Salman and Asin did shoot at the inverted glass pyramid that’s one of the main attractions for the tourists at the Louvre, particularly after the fictitious revelation of ‘The Da Vinci Code’ that the sarcophagus of Mary Magdalene is underneath the pyramid.
However, instead of cracking cryptic codes or solving religious mysteries, Salman and Asin unraveled the mysteries of the heart while shooting their romantic song at the Louvre. Source
Saif Ali Khan and Kareena Kapoor have been shooting director Rensil D’Silva’s film Jihad in New York. The duo have been shooting continuously but got a two-day break in their hectic shooting schedule, thanks to co-star Vivek Oberoi .
Vivek, who plays a moderate Muslim in the film, reportedly had a lot of solo scenes to shoot. The actor asked the director to shoot them all in a stretch for two days. This left Saif and Kareena with two free days to enjoy the New York life. The duo went out and saw some movies and ate out at their favourite restaurant.
Kareena says it was all possible because of Vivek, with whom she first worked in Yuva . Today, Kareena sees Vivek as a friend and calls him “sweet” and “considerate”. Source
Kareena Kapoor has always given the impression of a tough young girl but we were shocked to know this. Actually the inside story is that it was the script of Rajkumar Hirani’s 3 Idiots that made Bebo break down. She says she had found such a touching script after a long gap of five years.
It’s also very dear to her as it was a great and long time wish of hers to work with Aamir Khan and it has finally happened. Plus she’s awed by the working style of director Hirani and it was a long time wish of hers to work under his direction as well.
The much looked forward to film which is slated for Christmas release is inspired from Chetan Bhagat’s best selling novel ‘Five Point Someone’ and also stars Boman Irani, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in pivotal roles. Let’s hope Kareena’s tears pay off and the movie does well. Source
There’s so much speculation about Jiah Khan’s ouster from Ken Ghosh’s Yahoo that a new reason that our source has revealed amuses us. According to our source, it is Shahid’s growing manliness that resulted in Jiah being ousted and Genelia D’Souza stepping in. And before you get us wrong, Shahid now insists that in all his films, he must play a man, and not the boy-next-door he’s been all this while.
Our source says, “Yahoo was originally about Shahid playing a struggling dancer and a bunch of kids supporting him. The focus was on Shahid’s interaction with the kids. But later they realised that it wasn’t Shahid’s cup of tea to work with children. His film Vah! Life Ho Toh Aisi (2005) flopped terribly at the box-office and his next, Ahmed Khan’s Paathshala also involves some child actors.” Full News

Every year, the highlighting attributes for the IIFA awards ceremony would be newcomers performing on the podium. Glimpse through the previous occasions, it’s been more evident with Hrithik’s show in Sun City in 2001, Abhishek Bachchan performing with his dad and Ash for ‘Kaira Re’. Previous year, Harman Baweja dazzled with his ‘Milona Milo’ of Love Story 2050 with Priyanka Chopra.
So, it would be exquisitely tremendous this time as the young sensational missy will shake her legs for interesting numbers. Although, Sonam made her debut in B-Town before couple of years in ‘Saawariya’, the actress didn’t pick the stage offers. Know why? She has a very very big DARR about stage shows.
Nevertheless, Sonam has been vividly encouraged by her close paisano Abhishek Bachchan and Andre (Wizcraft) that lets her pitch for the debut show. Source
Aamir Khan was invited especially to grace the occasion by Sean Hepburn Ferrer, the son of the legendary actress. Aamir got a mail from Sean asking him to showcase ‘Taare Zameen Par’ as a part of Audrey Hepburn’s birthday celebrations and Aamir was more than delighted to be there.
Aamir is a self-confessed fan of Audrey Hepburn and her movies, ‘Roman Holiday’, ‘Sabrina’, ‘Breakfast at Tiffany’s’ and ‘My Fair Lady’ are among his favourites. Hepburn, who began working with UNICEF in the 1950s and dedicated more and more of her time to the organization in the last four years of her life, is as much known for her work as the UNICEF International Goodwill Ambassador as for her films. After her death in the year 1993, her family made a trust with the name, The Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund.
That explains why Aamir’s directorial debut ‘Taare Zameen Par’ was chosen for screening at Hepburn’s birth anniversary. It’s reported that TZP was selected because of its subject, which dealt with a child suffering from dyslexia. And according to Hepburn’s family members, she considered this as a crucial issue since she herself worked with such kids. Source
