Bachchans Go Ahead For The IIFA

The sudden ill health of Samajwadi party leader Amar Singh has thrown the Bachchans’ plans out of gear. The Bachchan family is supposed to be in Macau for the IIFA show. Incidentally, Amitabh Bachchan is the brand ambassador of IIFA and Ash is the star performer.

Reports are afloat that Jaya Bachchan could stay back with Amar Singh’s family, while Amitabh, Abhi and Ash could fly down to Macau. Amar Singh is suffering for intestinal and kidney failure and has flown down to Singapore for a kidney transplant.

It is worth mentioning here that Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Shahid Kapoor, Priyanka Chopra had opted out of attending the event for various reasons. Source
