The sizzling beauty Sophie Chaudhary struck an instant camaraderie with Australian singer Peter Andre at the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) awards, but denies any romantic involvement with him.

“Peter was sweet and a thorough gentleman. We spoke about music, London, Bollywood and his new album. I am a singer and in future we may collaborate but I don’t want people to put two and two together and come to wrong conclusions. However much contemporary I appear on screen but I am an Indian girl at heart. I will never date a married man,” Sophie said.

While Sophie hosted the IIFA fashion extravaganza in Macau earlier this month, Andre had especially flown to the Chinese town to perform at the event.

Kashmira Shah has bagged a meaty role in Karan Johar’s next Mumbai based flick, ‘Wake Up Sid’ that revolves around a good looking young guy Ranbir Kapoor who falls for an older and simple woman Konkona Sen Sharma.

“I am playing a very sexy role in the film where a hero gets uncomfortable when I am around. I have played such characters before but this is very playful”, she briefs about her character.

This film is directorial debut of Ayaan Mukherjee. “This is his first film as director but I would say he is thorough professional” she opines. Ayaan has worked as an assistant director in Swades and Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna.

Bollywood’s most elegant in love couple Salman Khan and Katrina Kaif were spotted at a Bandra, Mumbai cafe on Sunday June 28th evening.

Salman and Katrina arrived together at around 6pm. Both were looking extremely happy and it appeared as if they had arrived to celebrate the success of Katrina’s new release New York. She was smiling nonstop while talking to him. The people around them were left completely star struck and no one dared to disturb the lovers.”

The source further added, “When any one around would stare for long at Katrina, Salman would stare back at him/her. Generally the two used to be often seen at the coffee shops near Salman’s Bandra Bandstand house such as Café Coffee Day or Barista but may be they came here because being a Sunday those places would have been extremely crowded.”

Our sources have it that Fardeen Khan, who lost his father recently and has been trying to come out of the grief, was involved in a brawl at a high-end nightclub recently.

It’s known that Fardeen and Farhan Furtniturewala, the long-standing boyfriend of Fardeen’s sister Laila, came to fits over some personal argument much to the surprise of the onlookers.

Though the real reasons for the fight were not available, but it seems Fardeen and Farhan had a heated argument followed by trading blows.

Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan has recalled his meetings with late King of Pop, Michael Jackson and has also written a tribute of sorts to him.

In around mid-60s Bachchan had heard first about the pop group Jackson 5 and some years later had caught their video on his video player. His first Jackson concert experience was in his US trip in early 80s where he like any other lay man fan of the pop sensation had to watch it sitting at the back most row of a huge football stadium after buying tickets in black. But however his first face to face meeting with Michael was a very funny one.

“In the early 90’s on another private visit to New York, the door bell of my room in the Helmsley Palace Hotel rang, and I sauntered up to open it. There as I stood in the doorway, across me, was Michael Jackson. “It’s very important for me as an actor to monitor the kind of covers that I am a part of and I think it’s also important for the magazine to monitor what kind of people they have on their covers. It works both ways. But at the end of the day, it’s obvious and more serious to know what the magazine has in mind. If reports are to be believed Govinda is back to troubling his makers by coming late on sets, some report about his superstitious habits.

Govinda however prefers to maintain his cool about all this without letting it affect him. He states in this regards, “I have never troubled any filmmaker or any person for that matter before or after joining politics. I believe the moment I give a hit film, people start talking and writing negative about me. And I know there are some groups in Bollywood who don’t like my films doing well. I don’t believe in working in groups, which seems to be a new trend in Bollywood these days.”

About how does manage to remain in the news for all the wrong reasons, Govinda states, “Earlier I used to think a lot as to why such things happen only to me. Bollywood’s most respected legend, veteran actor Dilip Kumar, as per the latest reports, has been admitted to ICU at Mumbai’s Lilavati Hospital in suburban Bandra, after having diagnosed to be suffering from malaria.

The 87-year-old actor who was suffering from high fever since Saturday was immediately admitted by the family to facilitate proper investigation.

Now the actor’s condition is much stable & better and would hopefully be discharged in a couple of days. Source
