The bombshell Priyanka Chopra seems to have a tendency to fall in trouble every time. The actress, who has been making rounds in and out of the hospital, met with a minor accident on the sets of her upcoming film ‘Anjaana Anjaani’. The actress, who is nursing a foot injury, has been advised complete bed rest for over a week.

Though the actress has sustained no serious injuries, sources maintain that she has been advised not to step her foot out of her room. Talking about the accident a source told a daily, “It was a minor accident and thankfully, with no major injuries to Priyanka. In Bangkok, Priyanka was required to do a scene in the ocean, where she unknowingly stepped on a pointed rock. As a result, she lost her grip and ended up getting bruised on her foot.”

“Director Siddharth Anand and the crew ran to her rescue, but luckily, nothing major had happened. The shoot wasn`t stalled. Priyanka just applied an ointment and was back on her feet for the shot. Ranbir Kapoor, reportedly, was not required for the scene and so wasn`t present. Priyanka is currently shooting in Pattaya, Thailand with the rest of the cast and crew,” the source added. Source

According to the reliable sources, “Salman and Asin have hit it big on the personal front. Both the actors have become thick friends post the shoot of LONDON DREAMS. Now, Salman seems to be taking more interest in Asin than Katrina and it seems the new friendship between the two is growing by the day.”

Everyone at the wedding noticed that the Khans (SRK, Fardeen, Zayed) and the Roshans came in, in one big group. It is said that prior to the reception, the Roshans and their family members went to Mannat for a get-together with SRK and his gorgeous wife Gauri.

The sizzling Khallas girl Isha Koppikhar, who tied the knot with restaurateur Timmy Narang at a temple, says that she always wanted to get married in a temple. “Temple is something really pure, it’s really nice to get married in a temple. I always wanted to get married in a temple,” Eesha told reporters Sunday at the reception. Unlike other stars’ marriage, Timmy and Eesha kept the ceremony simple and low profile.

“It was very much a family and intimate affair. I think one has to cherish and enjoy private moments so it was kept low profile intentionally,” said Timmy. The couple is heading to the Caribbean for their honeymoon.

“There is a beautiful set of islands called Turks and Caicos Islands in the Caribbean… it is a very romantic place. We will go there by the end of the year,” said Timmy. Actors Prem Chopra, Manoj Kumar, Chunky Pandey, Tulip Joshi and Celina Jaitley were among those who attended the reception.

Sweet , bubbly yet sexy VJ-turned-actress Shenaz Treasurywala, who plays a simple, sweet girl in forthcoming flick Radio, says she has rejected quite a few roles requiring her to wear bikinis and do item numbers.

“I did reject quite a few offers that required me to wear a bikini and do item numbers. That is not where I want to go with my career. Also, there are lots of bikini and item girls out there. They are fabulous at what they do; I don’t judge them at all. But then I don’t want to join them or compete with them,” Shenaz told.
“I’ll do what the role requires me to do. I am professional. As long as it’s required and the film really needs it. It should not be there just to sell tickets but to tell a story. I am talented, I have a personality and this is my strength,” the actress said, while maintaining that she isn’t saying an outright no to donning a particular costume. Shahid, who is proud of his body, says, “I won’t recommend that guys try to maintain a six-pack or a eight-pack all through the year… because it is tough, believe me.’’ However, building the eight-pack was a challenge he loved. “I’m inherently drawn to fitness. For me working out is a lifestyle. When Vishal Bharadwaj suggested that I get a tough look for Kaminey and Ken Ghosh said I should try and get eight-pack abs for a song in Chance Pe Dance, I had a goal to work towards. Of course, Kaminey is different from Chance Pe Dance so I have a different body-type is both films.’’

For a year, Shahid altered his lifestyle completely. First he went completely low on sugar and gradually introduced himself to slow-acting carbohydrates. Priyadarshan’s DE DANA DAN has taken a good start in India with gross collections of 7 crores on its opening day.

Confirming the news, producer Ratan Jain said, “The film is doing fantastic all over and going by the trend in collections, today is better than Friday and Sunday looks terrific as well. First day gross collections of 7 crores means we are easily headed for a bountiful first week total of around 40 crores.”

While positive reports around good collections from Indian market are continuing to trickle in for DE DANA DAN, the latest is that the film has taken a terrific opening in overseas market as well. In the process, it has surpassed the biggest of films in recent times. Friday collections from UK are out and the numbers clearly indicate that the film is en route to be a good success there.

It sounds like a big surprise but Aamir Khan and Salman Khan have been bonding like thick buddies. Perfect ambassador John has also pledged to make the difference through his commitment. “I want the youth to pledge to practice safe sex, to be faithful to partners, get tested for HIV, spread awareness, use new syringes and not visit commercial sex workers.”

According to Smita, John is the perfect choice, “I wanted a youth icon to take the same pledge I had taken (to eradicate HIV) and encourage our youth to do the same.”

“I will come wherever they call me to talk about the subject and propagate safe sex. I want to tell everyone; especially the youth that we need to have safe sex and wear condoms,” John is quoted by a tabloid. Source

Recently our macho man, Salman Khan hosted a trial of Veer for his father, Salim Khan. Salman was waiting to see how his father would react to the film but the latter simply left the screening without a word.

Thinking that his father perhaps didn’t like the film, Salman got worried. He was overwhelmed when his father called him at 2am to tell him that the film as well as Salman was outstanding. The actor then got nostalgic about the way his father had reacted to his debut, ‘Maine Pyaar Kiya’. Even then, Salim saab had walked out of the screening wordlessly and gone home and told Sallu that he would get cult status with the film and the only one who could mess it up would be him.

Remembering his father’s advice is essential at this point as Salman is counting on Veer to be a hit and can’t afford to make any mistakes. Source

 Rakesh Roshan has plans to start filming the sequel to his super hero flick, ‘Krrish’ by September 2010. Playing the title role, Hrithik Roshan will however not be romancing Priyanka Chopra in this one our sources claims.

Sources further reveal, “Roshan Sr. who will be directing the film apart from producing it, is considering Deepika Padukone to the play the lead, although there has been no confirmation. While the first film in the series ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ had Preity Zinta in the lead opposite Hrithik, ‘Krrish’ featured Priyanka Chopra. There are no plans for her to return, so it remains to be seen who would step into the leading lady’s role.”

Letting us in the secret, our source further reveals that Rakesh has zeroed down on a plotline where ‘Krrish’ battles his evil counterpart in the sequel. Apparently, Rakesh is keen on having Hrithik play a grey character ever since he saw his performance in ‘Dhoom 2’. ‘Krrish’ will be seen saving the 7 wonders of the world, which makes a perfect foil to include extensive shots of diverse foreign locations.
