The actor’s belief in this very thought has perhaps seen him through the bad times as well as the good.

Following outstanding performances in films like Dhoom 2, Koi Mil Gaya and more recently Jodha Akbar, it seemed increasingly likely that it was only a matter of time before Hollywood would come knocking on the heartthrob’s door. When Roshan, along with father Rakesh and co-star Barbara Mori, premiered their upcoming film Kites on the Cannes platform in 2009, it appeared that this dream was not out of reach. Surely, an actor with Roshan’s hard-to-match acting calibre, luring screen presence and devilishly good looks should be enough to have made the big names in Hollywood sit up and take notice… and notice they did. As of now, though, there is no news as yet about a project in Hollywood for the much-loved actor.

However, all is not lost. Cue Shekhar Kapur and his new film Paani (Water), a film which will be made in English. The internationally celebrated director has rumoured to have signed Roshan for the film and is in talks with none other than Kirsten Stewart, of Twilight and New Moon fame. The actress has caught Kapur’s eye for the role in Paani as he required a tall and charming woman and Stewart will comfortably fit into this image.

Barbara Mori is having a blast in Mumbai. The diva staying with her brother Kintaro Mori at Juhu in suburban Mumbai, is hot on the promotional track of ‘Kites’. And there’s been no deficit of attention from any starry quarters. Even as the Roshans wined and dined her in chic style, and lavished her with shopping sprees, Barbara Mori was the recipient of a homely honour.

A visit to SRK’s home, no less! And a surprise party to welcome the saucy star. “Susanne wanted me to meet her close friend Gauri,” states Mori in a tabloid chat. When Mori sashayed into SRK’s ‘Mannat’, she found the hosts thoroughly enjoying an IPL final and having their share of fun.

“I don’t follow cricket much,” admits Mori. “Initially, I was a bit bored, but later I did enjoy myself a lot. But after the party, we really partied hard. The Roshans, Shah Rukh and Gauri have been really nice to me. And I did meet some other Bollywood actors too. It felt great to get such a warm welcome in Mumbai.” Source

The beautiful Dia Mirza denied a report that the ex-beauty queen and actress would tie the knot with Pakistan cricketer Shoaib Akhtar. The actress said that the news, first carried by Pakistan channel Geo TV, is utter rubbish and baseless. In an exclusive chat with Spicezee, she said, “The news of my wedding with Shoaib Akhtar is absolutely rubbish. It’s a figment of imagination.”
 
Pakistani channel, Geo TV band said – “My wedding with Shoaib Akhtar would be even better than Sania`s: Dia Mirza”.

Dia requested the media to make it known that she had nothing to do with Shoaib Akhtar and she doesn’t even know him. When asked about her marriage plans, the actress said, “I would like to get married and everybody will know it. As of now, I am not getting married to anyone.”

Kareena is very excited at the prospect of starring with Saif in this spy thriller. Directed by Sriram Raghvan, the film is a slick spy-flick. It has both Saif and Kareena playing secret agents. The latest buzz is that Bebo will be seen in a negative avatar in the film. The lady will play a Pakistan CIA agent. A war-like situation arises in Asia in the film. She will be seen working with corporate biggies who hope to cash in on the state of affairs. However, it will be later revealed that she is a spy of the Pakistani Government in the end.

Bebo will also sport five different looks in Agent Vinod. A source told Sampurn Media that the use of prosthetics will be made to give her distinct looks, a la Hrithik Roshan in Dhoom 2! The actress is kicked about the film as she has never done a negative role before. Reportedly she gushed that it’s a very “Saif style” film! The super gorgeous actress Katrina Kaif is planning to meet the veteran actor over a kappa sometime soon.

What spiraled this coffee date is no less interesting story. Says our source, ‘It was reported that Shammi Kapoor had expressed the desire to have coffee with Katrina. When the media recently cornered Katrina on this, the actress feigned ignorance. But at the same time she added that if this is true she is going to make sure that she has a coffee with the veteran actor whom she respects immensely.’

The relationship between Kapoors and Katrina assumes significance in the light of recent rumours of Ranbir and Kat’s romantic link up. Though the two have often denied such talks, but now the coffee can create a storm in Kat’s cup again if she plans to get into the Kapoor camp for it.  Source

Everyone is confused by the title of Shahrukh Khan’s most ambitious project RA.ONE. No one exactly knows the real meaning of this title. Though, many have thought that it has a lot in common with the soon to be releasing film RAAVAN, but SRK has denied these speculations.

His latest tweet explains this mysterious title. SRK says, “RA.ONE means random access version one, will understand when you see the film. I am the hero in RA.ONE. The superhero is called g.one. RA.ONE site will be up soon.”

So, for all of us who thought that RA.ONE had a deep link with RAAVAN can breathe easy now. It is not what you thought it is. Now, make sure your confusion is gone for good. Source

SRK and his wife Gauri, who promote IPL franchise ‘Kolkata Knight Riders’, and Jaipur IPL Cricket that promotes ‘Rajasthan Royals’ have been issued show-cause notices for alleged violation of the Companies Act. “After expiry of notice period, criminal proceedings will be filed against the companies and the directors,” the Registrar of Companies (RoC), Mumbai, informed the Ministry of Company Affairs.

The notices were issued to the companies and their promoters, directors for not filing mandatory yearly returns. The MCA, on Wednesday last, had directed the RoC to collect within a week all details on IPL franchisees, including the bidding process, sweat equity and memorandum of association. 

According to reports, the companies have been given 15 days to respond to the notices given by.

The RoC Mumbai e-mails sent to Red Chillies Entertainments and Knight Riders Sports remained unanswered, while the Jaipur IPL Cricket remained silent on the RoC notice. Red Chillies Entertainments, promoted by Shahrukh Khan and Gauri, holds 55 per cent stake in Knight Riders Sports has been charged for not filing balance sheet for 2006-07 with the RoC, as required under the Companies Act, 1956. What was the most difficult part of playing Indu Pratap?

I find everything tough. Be it a comedy or making a speech in front of 5,000 people or a romantic film. Just because it is a dramatic film, doesn’t mean I will be any different. I find all my films the same.

You have clarified that your look and role are not modelled on Sonia Gandhi. So what is the kind of research that went behind giving you this look?

It was all Prakash Jha. He gave me saris, salwar kameezes, but I also wear dresses in the film. I wear normal clothes. It is just like how you come to work and don’t put too much of thought into what you want to wear. You just pick up a pair of jeans and a kurta.

And you had to work really hard on your Hindi. You said you felt like you were speaking Hindi all these years, but you weren’t.

Yeah. The speeches were difficult. You don’t talk like that in everyday life. But there aren’t too many speeches in the film. Only a part of the film is about politics. Most of it is about life — jealously, greed and the cards that life has dealt you. When you lose a position to someone else, you feel angry and jealous but you learn to deal with it. More

In this world of celebrities rumours are spread everywhere like a fire. The rumours of Akshay Kumar asking for enormous amount as his fees were round the corner but the actor denies that he is the highest paid actor.

The industry rumours say that he charges 40 cr as fees + a territory. But the Khiladi Kumar denies all this. In fact he even says that his remuneration as of today is zero. “I now realise that what kills a film is the actor’s remuneration,” remarks the actor.

Our very own Deepika Padukone has reportedly given her nod to romance her ex-beau Ranbir Kapoor onscreen again. So while most of Bollywood ex-lovers refuse to share the podium, Dips and Ranbir are out to do the unthinkable.

So what caused this magic? Well it’s director Anurag Basu’s flick ‘Khamoshi’. Ever since Katrina walked out of the film over the inclusion of Priyanka Chopra, Basu has been hunting for a second female lead. And after much thought Basu approached Deepika.

Confirming the news, a source said, “Anurag has approached Deepika. However, she still needs to take the final call. Ranbir plays the lead role and after their bitter break-up last year, they have not spoken to each other. However, when Deepika got the offer, she was not surprised and is looking at the film professionally. She doesn’t want her personal equations to come in the way. Deepika will now have a final meeting before taking a call.”
