For those who think that Katrina has severed all relations with Salman Khan and his family, there is news. Recently she arranged a show of her latest hit ‘Raajneeti’ for Salman’s dad, the renowned scriptwriter Salim Khan and the entire family…minus Salman, who maintains his clean slate vis-à-vis Katrina’s work.

He has not seen a single film of hers.

After tweeting to the entire world that he would definitely like to see Raajneeti and raising Katrina’s hopes, that he’d finally watch one of her films, Salman stayed away from the special screening of Raajneeti while the rest of the family saw and enjoyed the film.

Director Prakash Jha confirms that Salim saw the film in a show arranged by Katrina. “Salim Saab was full of praise for Raajneeti .He specially praised the dialogues which coming from him was a great compliment. Earlier Salim Saab had said what he and Javed Akhtar Saab wrote as a cop’s story in Zanjeer was nowhere near the authenticity of my cop’s story, Gangaa Jal. He’s a generous man.” More

Ever since Mani Ratnam’s highly awaited film ‘Raavan’ hit the theatres worldwide, the female protagonist of the film, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan isolated herself from the public. She is reluctant to face the media due to constant controversy surrounding the film and its star casts. ‘Raavan’ was highly criticized by the critics and Abhishek Bachchan was targeted for his bad show.

“It is to be noted that Ash has not made any public appearance after the film and her PR machinery has been asked to remain silent regarding her whereabouts. This is to avoid any uncomfortable questions from the media,” a source reportedly said.

“The former Miss World was extremely excited before the release of the film since she played the heroine in both Hindi and Tamil versions. Ash thought that she and her husband Abhishek would win accolades from all quarters. But the output was different and this has depressed her a lot,” the source added. More

The link-ups stories of Bollywood celebrities and cricketers are not new. Very often they hit the headlines for their alleged relationship and most recently it came to hear that cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni and actress Asin are more than friends. It was speculated that something serious has been cooked up between Dhoni and Asin after he was spotted at Asin’s house at Lokhandwala.

Dhoni went to Asin’s house and had a gala time with her watching the semi-final match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Mumbai Indians. Dhoni stayed there till the match ends up. Two days back, he again headed for Asin’s apartment and stayed there for an hour and a half. A source says, “Just before he left for the Asia Cup series in Sri Lanka(which began on June 15, 2010), he visited Asin’s house in Lokhandwala. This time, the two of them were not watching a match but just chilling out.”

Their proximity develops after they starred in a commercial. Now the couple is in Sri Lanka. Dhoni is leading his team at the Asia Cup and Asin filming for Anees Bazmee’s ‘Ready’ with Salman Khan in Sri Lanka.

Bollywood supremo Aamir Khan’s recent party for international music composer Gustavo Santaolalla rocked. Most of the bigwigs who Aamir had invited turned up — Imtiaz Ali, Salman Khan, Saif Ali Khan, even the staunch Shah Rukh Khan loyalist Karan Johar came early (8 pm) and left in the wee hours of the morning.

It is said that when Aamir was taking stock of his guests the next morning, it dawned on him that the one who was missing from the celebrity list was Bollywood’s current sweetheart Ranbir Kapoor.

The party was held at 24 Pali Hill, Imran Khan’s residence that is just a few blocks away from Ranbir’s Krishna Raj bungalow.

Sources indicate that the reason why Ranbir reportedly stayed away is because he wasn’t keen to come face-to-face with his ex-buddy Imran and his fiancée Avantika Malik; especially after the media reported that Avantika and her mother Vandana Malik had torn Raajneeti to smithereens on their visit to the theatre. For all those eagerly awaiting the pairing of Abhishek Bachchan-Kareena Kapoor again on the screen, here’s the sad news. Contrary to recent reports, Sanjay Leela Bhansali is not casting the two of them in his next movie.

It was reported that Abhishek and Kareena- whose relationship soured after Abhi’s breakup with her sister Karishma- had finally put the past behind them and had agreed to costar in Bhansali’s next Hira Mandi, supposedly based on the life of a sex worker. After kick starting their filmy careers together with their debut movie Refugee, they were paired once again in Main Prem Ki Deewani Hoon. They were also a part of Yuva and LOC Kargil although they did not have scenes together. And though they always stated in public interviews that they would love to work with each other if a proper script came their way, sources say that Abhi wasn’t comfortable working with her even though Bebo tried to patch up with him. So much so that he supposedly had her replaced in Dostana and Dilli 6.

Which is why news of their coming together created such a strong buzz. However, a source stated that Bhansali doesn’t have any plans to revive Hira Mandi-nor Bajirao Mastani- and for the time being he is only concentrating on Guzaarish starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan.
