Hey friends ! Shy girl with girl next door image, Prachi Desai has gone bold for Milan Luthria’s forthcoming film ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’. It is believed that the actress has done some intimate scenes with co-star Emraan Hashmi.

Apparently the intimate scenes have been shot very aesthetically. Prachi requested the director to keep minimal people on the sets as she was not comfortable shooting the scenes with people staring with eyes wide open. Interestingly, Prachi had refused to do a smooch scene with Tusshar Kapoor during ‘Life Partner’ but it seems the girl is now bored with her shy-coy image with ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai’.

Prachi informs that she was aware of the bed scene in the film and had no qualms. It is also believed that though there are a few love making scenes in the film, Prachi didn’t indulge in onscreen smooch with Emraan, who is Bollywood’s eternal serial kisser! Source

Anil Kapoor made quite an impression post Slumdog Millionaire, and now Sonam Kapoor has caught the eye of none other than Ben Stiller. While in Los Angeles, Anil met Stiller to discuss ideas for a joint production company. He had also talked about his co-production Aisha.

When Stiller saw the film, he immediately called up Anil expressing his desire to cast Sonam for his film 30 Minutes Or Less, which stars Jesse Eisenberg and Danny Mc Bride. However, things look difficult because of Sonam’s prior commitments. She is already shooting for Mausam and Thank You, and promoting Aisha.

But possibilities are being worked out so that Sonam can do the film. And even while dates are being discussed with Stiller, Sonam got yet another offer from the west – from Edoardo Ponti, the son of Sophia Loren and Carlo Ponti. He’s announced his project, Das, which will be shot in India. Source

Superstar Akshay Kumar starrer Khatta Meetha has had a sweet-sour effect on the box office as the Priyadarshan helmed comedy has made single-screen audiences burst into guffaws but left the multiplex gentry asking for more.

“The overall average occupancy for Khaata Meetha over the weekend was 75 percent. Word of mouth is not that great and it is not being appreciated. Basically, it is a masses film meant only for single-screens where it is doing very well unlike in the multiplexes,” said Amit Awasthi, senior manager (Programming and Operations) of Spice Cinemas.

“Monday onwards the occupancy of the movie has fallen drastically,” he added.A source from PVR cinemas said: “The weekend was Ok and the occupancy was only 60 per cent. The content is average and the initial was not as expected as out of an Akshay Kumar movie. We hope it sustains this week. However, it is doing well in single-screens.” Source

Earlier, I did plan a lot of things – like I thought I will get some script written or words from the Gita. Had a few more ideas in mind, but all of them wouldn’t make for a good visual, so I went for this one finally. There is no agenda or something very intelligent behind this design.

It’s just a pair of wings…” Do wings indicate breaking free? “No. They are angel wings, I hope it’s a good omen,” she smiles. Any particular reason for it being at the nape of her neck? “I would love to flaunt a few stars on my neck (in the front, she meant). But as an actor, one has to keep in mind that one will need to hide it on screen and that is not possible all the time. Generally, we have our hair let loose and this part can be easily covered while shooting. This is the safest place,” says Kangna Ranaut.

She has walked the ramp many times, yet it’s not a great feeling for her all the time. “I just don’t like the feeling of walking the ramp. I feel so terrible ’coz of my stage fright. Even if I have to say two lines on stage, I feel terrified. And the ramp is no different from the stage.” Stage fright after four years of being on screen? “I’m a very weird person; I am very shy too. Sometimes anything can make me nervous. If I have done 20 ramp shows so far, I’am sure there have been four to five times when I didn’t feel nervous at all. But during the rest, anything could make me nervous – even a glimpse of the crowd is enough.” More

Let bygones be bygones, leaving all the odd feelings behind, Aamir Khan and Shahrukh Khan bonded over dinner in London. The two reining Khans of Bollywood who always makes news for their rivalry has this time around hit the gossip column for being friendly with each other.

Aamir Khan who is in London to promote his new film, ‘Peepli Live’ invited Shahrukh Khan to dinner at the Hakkasan restaurant in London on Friday night and they along with Karan Johar and Gauri Khan bonded over the famous Japanese dishes, sushi and sashimi.

The foursome had a gala time. All were seen in an upbeat mood chatting, dining and laughing. Shahrukh Khan was in London to shoot for sci-fic ‘Ra One with Kareena Kapoor. Karan flew to the UK for 20 days to spend quality time with his friend Shahrukh Khan and also work on his script.

A fan of both Khans said, “There were some jokes being cracked over which SRK and Aamir were laughing a lot. Gauri seemed to enjoy herself watching these guys cracking up.” Source

As usual Kareena Kapoor is all set to be the next big thing yet again. Only this time around it will be Madhur Bandarkar who will be the captain of the ship as he directs the actress in Heroine. The film will of course, revolve around a central female character which will be played by Bebo. However, the script also demands five men. And this has put the director into a slight fix. According to sources, Kapoor has demanded that these five heroes be A-listed stars rather than any newcomers or “B-listers”.

Apparently, the men will need to play the part of top leading men in the industry and thus, no ordinary stars will do. “Since the five actors to be cast will have to portray the industry’s top leading men, they have to be A-Listers. Newcomers and B-Listers just won’t do!” claimed a reliable source.

The grapevines believe that Kareena is paying close attention to this project as she believes that via Heroine, she will finally be able to attain a National Award. For this reason, she is said to be asking her favorite co-stars, Akshay Kumar, Saif Ali Khan and Salman Khan to be a part of the film.

Not heeded by the pressure, director Madhur Bandarkar went on to add, “We do need five top actors opposite Kareena in Heroine. It should not be a problem. We’re trying to sort it out.” Source

When all in bollywood is denying Hollywood films, comes the news that Akshay Kumar is ready take a step in that western direction by co-producing an Indo-Canadian film called Break Away.

The Khiladi, who enjoys an enviable reputation in Canada, recently played host to a dinner meet between the premiers of both countries, our Dr Manmohan Singh and their Stephen Harper. His film will have the Canadian-born Emily Van Camp (who shot to fame with the television series Brothers and Sisters) and be directed by Robert Lieberman who recently completed The Tortured.

According to a source, Akshay had plans to step into Hollywood as a producer with his banner Hari Om Productions for a while now. This is his first western production but his banner intends to continue scouting for more suitable collaborations in the West. Akshay himself is not acting in Break Away. But who knows about the future? Source

Hey all you Salman Khan fans. we have some great news for you. 10 Ka Dum Season 3 is slated for a 2010 comeback. Yes, after the rumor mills went into overtime claiming that there might not be a season 3, the director of Big Synergy, came out to let DKD fans know that Salman will be back this winter with yet another fun-filled installment.

“If all falls into place then we hope to start shooting for it from November onwards. The show may go on air by December, post Kaun Banega Crorepati,” the director claimed. He also added that this time round, the contestant will vary between celebrities and regular contestants too. If you remember, Season 2 featured only celebrities.

The actual date has yet to be decided but is speculated to be around November this year. In the meantime, if you are looking to see more Salman Khan, Dabbang is scheduled to release in August. Source
