Big B gets bigger and better wherever he goes and on TV he is the biggest. His entry into KBC 4 has proved that. On his 68th birthday, the iconic Big B has beaten Salman hands down. The first episode of ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati 4’ which opened on Amitabh Bachchan’s birthday, garnered a Map rating of 5, beating the Salman Khan-hosted ‘Bigg Boss’ that got a rating of 3.6 on its first day of telecast.

It is the highest average rating recorded by the top general entertainment channels (GECs) in the time-band of 9 p.m. – 10:30 p.m. Monday.
Amitabh’s entry on the small screen created waves in the film and TV industry a decade ago and when he came back after 5 years, the excitement is the same, even bigger. The opening episode of this year saw actor Sanjay Dutt, apart from a contestant, needless to say Big B has brought the family back to T.V.
