The world goes gaga over Aishwarya Rai’s beauty but the her latest co-star Akshay Kumar would beg to differ. The actor, who is working with the former Miss World in ‘Action Replayy’, feels that Ash is very much “unlike” diva.

Talking to reporters in an interview, Akshay said “Aishwarya is not a diva. She does not throw tantrums. She does not come with any baggage whatsoever and is an extremely easy person to work with. It`s refreshing to work with someone with whom I have not worked with for a while.”

The star who has worked with most leading ladies in Bollywood right from Shilpa Shetty to Katrina Kaif feels that working with Aishwarya was fun. Akshay will be seen romancing Aishwarya in Vipul Shah’s ‘Action Replayy’ a full fledged romantic flick with a comic angle.

“Ash is simply fabulous and one of the reasons that we shared incredible compatibility as actors and people. She brings in the same focus, energy and discipline to her work as I do,” Akshay said.

Expressing his thoughts on his onscreen chemistry with Ash, Akshay said, “Our on-screen relationship in `Khakee` was quite unconventional and actually came with a chilling twist. Still, people had really liked us in `Khakee` and it is rather odd that Aish and I did not work together after that.”

In ‘Action Replayy’ handsome hunk Akki and the beautiful Aishwarya play a squabbling couple in the movie. If the insiders are to be believed, Aishwarya was devoid of starry tantrums on the sets of the movie, which is slated to release this Diwali.

Akshay has worked with actresses almost half his age. After a series of hit movies with Katrina Kaif, Akki was seen romancing dimpled beauty Deepika in ‘Housefull’. He was also seen opposite south Indian hottie Trisha Krishnan in his film ‘Khatta Meetha’.

The khiladi of Tinsel Town will now be seen with Anuoshka Sharma in ‘Patiala House’ and stunning Sonam Kapoor in ‘Thank You’.

Akshay wonders why people end up discussing his on-screen equation with Katrina Kaif. He said, “When I do a movie with Katrina, people say `What? You are working with her again?`. On the other hand when I don`t do a movie with her for some time, people say, `Oh, why didn`t you take Kat, you`re the best onscreen couple`.” Source
