For couple of weeks Aamir had been keeping himself from public eye and the reason, birdies reveal was for his new image.

In the untitled flick, Aamir is said to be playing a cop and the project will be produced by Aamir Khan Production along with Excel Entertainment (Ritesh Siddhwani and Farhan Akhtar’s production house).

A case was filed Friday in an Uttar Pradesh court against Bollywood actor Salman Khan, who is also the host of the ‘Bigg Boss 4’ show, the producer and director of the reality show and some of the contestants over its vulgar content, an official said. The case was filed in a court in Aligarh district under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including 293 (sale of obscene objects), 294 (obscene acts and songs), and 120 B (criminal conspiracy).

It was filed in the chief judicial magistrate`s (CJM) court on an application filed by an Aligarh-based lawyer Anoop Kaushik. Kaushik Friday moved the complaint application against airing of the reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss 4’.

“Besides Salman Khan, who hosts ‘Bigg Boss’, and five contestants of the reality show, the case has also been filed against MD of the channel, and the director and producer of the show,” Kaushik told reporters in Aligarh, some 350 km from Lucknow.

“The five contestants against whom the case has been registered include Sara Khan, her husband Ali Merchant, Dolly Bindra, Shweta Tiwari and Sameer Soni,” he added. More

Shahenshah Amitabh Bachchan has heaped praise on Indian spinner Harbhajan Singh after he slammed two back to back hundreds in Tests against New Zealand.

‘Harbhajan Singh has done it again! Another century against New Zealand and bringing India on to a respectable game. This is unusual,’ Amitabh posted on his blog bigb.bigadda.com.

‘Bhajji is the one that is supposed to bowl, is the nominated wicket taker – he of Turbanator fame ! Instead, he has bowled and batted both, and brought such relevance to his position in the team, that it now seems inevitable that whenever he shall come out the expectations shall drive him to deliver.

‘I send him greetings whenever he has performed – performed well and with reward. And, as is his wont, he always responds and acknowledges back. Writing copious expressions of gratefulness and thanks,’ he added.

Harbhajan became the first number eight player to register two successive centuries in Tests. He struck his maiden Test century in the first Test against New Zealand at Ahmedabad (115) and followed it up with an unbeaten 111 on the fourth day of the second Test at Hyderabad Monday. Source

The veer of bollywood Salman Khan is one brave-heart hunk, for the actor has become the first bone marrow donor in the country. Known for his generosity and charitable work, the often misunderstood Khan has once again kept up his promise by donating his bone marrow for a little girl Pooja, who was in need of a bone marrow transplant.

The act just comes days after the actor had pledged to Marrow Donor Registry, India, to donate his bone marrow if a need may arise.

And Salman is not alone here. His brother Arbaaz Khan too joined him in the noble task. Confirming the news, Dr. Sunil Parekh who is on the board of MDRI said, “The people suffering from disease and I thank Salman Khan for coming forward and taking up our cause. Four years ago, Salman had read about Pooja, a little girl who was in need of bone marrow transplant. He got his entire football team to come and donate marrow. Unfortunately, they all backed out last minute, and only Salman and Arbaaz landed up donating and became the first donors”.

Talking about the little help they received from the government, Dr Parekh said, “We made a foolish mistake to depend on the government in 2004. We didn`t get the right help…” More

People love Shah Rukh Khan in Germany. The superstar is in Berlin shooting for Don 2 and there’s a crowd outside his hotel every morning just to meet him. It’s the same scene when he returns at night from his shoot. SRK happily obliges fans with autographs and poses for photographs. Says an eyewitness, “He does this every day without fail. Fans queue outside the hotel even when it’s freezing or if it rains. SRK even sends out for coffee and pizzas for those waiting for hours.”

But it does get embarrassing when they refuse to accept payment for services rendered. Like the time he got a free cab ride in lieu of a pic and an autograph. Here’s what happened: After shooting, the Don 2 cast and crew indulge in soccer matches at a ground close to the hotel. One day, it went on till 4.30 am. SRK decided to go out for coffee. Instead of calling for the hotel car, they hailed a cab.

As soon as they stepped in, the driver recognised SRK. When they reached their destination, the cabbie refused to let him pay for the ride. Despite King Khan insisting, the driver in Berlin said he would accept only a picture with the actor as the fare because his daughter was a big fan. Shah Rukh posed with the driver and signed an autograph for his daughter before thanking him and leaving. More

Unlike many actors who leave no opportunity to turn social work activities into nice photo-ops, Hrithik traces a different line. After playing the role of a quadriplegic in GUZAARISH, Hrithik is so moved by the plight of these patients that he has started actively engaging in helping such people.

Hrthik’s physiotherapist Dr. Indu Tandon, who helped Hrithik research his character in the film and taught him the body language of people who are quadriplegic, reveals Hrthik’s secret. Say’s she, ‘After Hrithik came in close contact with quadriplegics, he was moved by their plight. We as a country still need to do a lot to take care of such patients. Now, Hrithik has started financing some patients and even rented an apartment for one deserving patient in Andheri. Hrthik’s concern about such patients is so strong that he plans to start a long term association with their cause so that he can highlight their plight and help them in a better way.’

With Hrthik’s little known secret about his social work busted, this gesture is only going to add to his popularity. Source
