The love affair between Katrina and Ranbir was the most discussed topic in the tinsel town of Bollywood even a few days ago. The couple broke up recently as they had differences on the issue of marriage. Katrina Kaif wished to get married and settle down soon, where as the free spirited Ranbir Kapoor disliked the idea of being tied down so soon.

This argument among them turned fierce and they separated. However Kat has already apologized to Ranbir, she has forgiven him and wishes to give their relation a second chance if only the actor would mend his Casanova ways.

Ranbir Kapoor is well known for his affairs. In the past he was associated with the Bollywood diva, Deepika Padukone but the relationship was short lived and they soon broke apart. On the other hand Katrina Kaif was also related to the tinsel town actor, Salman Khan. Both of them came close to each other after their splits.

He is just one film old in Bollwyood but Ranveer Singh promises to give blockbusters in years to come. The ‘Band Baaja Baaraat’ sensation, who hails from a non-film background, pulled it off very easily in his very first film single handedly. So much so that he was addressed as the next superstar by none other than the King of Bollywood Shah Rukh Khan.

However, the newbie does not like being treated as a star. Talking to a reporter, the lanky actor said, “I hate this attitude of the industry that puts a male star into the centre of everything, and starts treating me as the God of Box Office and not as an actor.”

The young actor, who impressed one and all with his scintillating performance in his debut film, wants to be treated as an actor. And there is nothing apart from a good role that drives him. Not even the amount that producers have been offering him.

It is almost been a week for Priyanka Chopra since she started shooting for her film BARFI. But, despite spending enough time on the sets, it’s learnt that Priyanka is finding it extremely tough to play the demanding character in the film. Such is her misery on the sets that the actress is actually finding the whole thing weird. 

According to our sources, “Priyanka thinks that she has landed in one of her most tough assignments till date. The actress is extremely nervous and stressed about the role of playing a mentally challenged girl in the film. The demanding role seems to have stressed the actor immensely.”

BARFI, which is Anurag Basu’s outing after the mega disaster KITES, has too many hopes riding on it. Given the fact that Anurag wants this film to redeem his glory, Priyanka seems to have come under pressure too and that is the reason why the actress is complaining of feeling nervous, stressed and weird on the shoot.

Sonam Kapoor is choosing to come of her girl talk and prefers to discuss men. Her candour regarding the opposite sex is growing by the day. Sonam, who in the past had her own share of link-ups, has pretty much stayed away from controversies so far, but now it seems she loves to get into some. 

Says our source, “Sonam seems to love controversies now. It all was first evident when she passed some nasty comments against Ranbir Kapoor. Later it extended to her comments regarding her director Pankaj Kapoor and now the actress is making Bipasaha jealous by going gaga over John Abraham. In her latest comments, Sonam has made it loud and clear that she thinks John is one of the hottest filmstars in the industry today. For some strange reason, Sonam is past her usual girl talk and prefers to court controversies especially the ones involving men.”

THANK YOU is proudly proclaiming itself to be a film about ‘three doggies’ played by Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan respectively. While the trio is shown as incorrigible flirts, Akshay Kumar is being presented as someone who is just the opposite. One wonders though if he is really as seedha-saadha in the film as it is made out to be.

“Come on, if I would have told you that I was ‘the’ flirt in this film, I guarantee that you would all be accusing me of being predictable,” laughs Akshay, “So here I am, surprising you and my audience by being ‘the saint’ and influencing people on the important sacrificial holy sanctity of marriage. No wonder, on the sets they used to call me ‘the marriage detective’.”

Other than being ‘the marriage detective’, he is also seen as ‘the break up doctor’ in the film as he catches husbands red handed in the middle of their flirtatious acts right in front of their wives (played by Sonam Kapoor, Rimi Sen and Celina Jaitly).

“But let me forewarn you that my reason behind catching men in their frivolous moments is not to break up their marriages,” says Akshay, “There is no fun there. Instead I do that to bring these couples closer than ever before. As always there is a method behind every man’s madness and in this story I have my own. There is a reason behind that though since my character has a very gripping background due to which he became the ‘break up’ doctor in the first place.” More

The second half of the movie gets interesting as Aamir appears in the role of a ghost. This is the first time the actor is going to play a spooky character. Earlier Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan and Salman Khan had played the role of a ghost in the movies Bhoothnath, Paheli and Hello Brother respectively. Here is a sad news for all Vidya Balan fans. There goes our luck to watch the charming actress re-enacting the popular nurse character played by Hema Malini….. While the news had been in town about Vidya Balan being considered to play the female lead in Soham Shah’s ‘Satte Pe Satta’ remake, of late sources revealed that the actress has refused to do the movie.

It is said that Vidya didn’t want to do it since she felt the very good old essence of the classic film can’t be regenerated. Said sources, “She feels that Satte Pe Satta should not be tampered with. That film is too iconic to be copied or revised.” Hmmm, that’s a point, we say. But for now the remake’s team has a problem in finding an actress.

Pardes actress Mahima Chaudhury today took a bike lift from a traffic police inspector to escape eve-teasers. Mahima, best known for her debut opposite Shah Rukh Khan in Subhash Ghai`s `Pardes`, was in Jamshedpur to take part at a promotional event near Jubilee Park in Bistupur.

In the absence of adequate security, the 37-year-old actress could not even run away from the spot as those participating in the `green run` were the ones misbehaving, police said. A few media photographers and an official of Singhbhum Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SCCI) rushed to her rescue and asked traffic police inspector Dilip Kumar Singh to intervene.

“I have neither seen her before nor knew who is she, but I carried her on my motorcycle after being informed about the incident,” Singh said.

After her number of films bombed badly at the box-office Mahima, who made her debut in 1997, is hardly seen on the silver screen these days. Source

Bipasha Basu claims that she got into a fistfight with Dum Maaro Dum item girl Deepika Padukone on the set of the movie! A media stunt to get the buzz going about the film or true story?

Actually, Bips was simply trying to make a point that the press is always looking for drama when two B-town heroines have to share screen time. But the Bengali bombshell insists there is nothing to the latest rumors!

“Yeah, we had fistfights too. I was thinking of taking a picture of Deepika and me embroiled in a fist fight and putting it up on Twitter for the media,” the actress told Hindustan Times.

But in reality, Bips supports her fellow actress and is happy that her item number is a hit. “The song is already a chartbuster. And I’m sure it’ll work for us,” she said. Source

Abhishek Bachchan who won praise for his performances in films such as ‘Bunty aur Babli’ and ‘Guru’, said, “I think I am terribly overrated as an actor. They have given me more due than I deserve. I have a very very long way to go. I have lot of improvement to do”.

Bachchan, in the field for over a decade, said he did not see the new crop of actors as a threat.

“They are so talented, so prepared they are doing great work,” he said adding that he felt there was enough work going around for all to act. “I am not the insecure type. I am very secure about who I am and what I do. So I am happy we`ve got new blood coming to the film fraternity and getting more talent I think they are wonderful”, said the 35-year old actor.

Asked who his favourite actor was he said, “Me myself” and jokingly added, and “apart from me I think my father has some potential”. Source

Shah Rukh Khan and director Anubhav Sinha finally shared a glimpse of the much-awaited superhero flick Ra.One. And, frankly, we were a little disappointed.

Not only did the 10-second clip give us a headache just trying to keep up with what was happening, several of the stunts reminded us of Krrish and Matrix.

And here we were expecting something totally new. Or at least a tad bit different!

The second one – the 30-second clip – however, gave us a little more time to appreciate the stunts: a buff SRK defy gravity and cartwheel up a building, an armour-clad SRK break the floor as he lands on it, a Magneto-like SRK flip cars like frisbees, and an intense SRK, all aglow in blue, receive the tender ministrations of a woman.
