Spot The Similarity Between ‘Jab We Met & Rockstar’

Do you remember the pretty girls dancing with Kareena Kapoor in JAB WE MET’s hit number ‘Yeh Ishq Hai’? They were professional dancers from the Tibetan Institute of Performing Arts (TIPA) who specialize in the folk dance of Tibet.

Apparently, Director Imtiaz Ali was so impressed by their talent that he decided to shoot with them once again while working on ROCKSTAR.

A source from the production team says, ‘Imtiaz and team were shooting for ROCKSTAR in Dharamshala for a concert sequence for ‘Saadda Haq’ and required a lot of dancers. He suggested calling the same group of performers from Shimla with whom he had worked during JAB WE MET. He wanted to connect with them once again after the film. When the team contacted TIPA, they were more than happy to be a part of Imtiaz’s film.’ ROCKSTAR releases 11.11.11 Source
