Vidya Balan’s Family Is Proud Of Her Performance in The Dirty Picture

While the world may be raising eyes and busy raving about Bollywood actor Vidya Balan’s boldest acts in the upcoming film THE DIRTY PICTURE, Vidya’s family is unperturbed with it. In fact they are all praise of Vidya’s brave performance.

Says Vidya, when asked about her family’s reaction to her bold portrayal, “They haven’t seen the film yet but yes they have seen the promos of the film and liking it. My dad never reacts to any of my films. However, my mom immediately said is that you? She didn’t recognize me. My sister paid me a very big compliment. She said ‘agar Jhijak hoti toh ashleel lagta’. But she said ‘you have done it bindaas, dil khol ke kaam kiya hai I am proud of you’.”

The content of THE DIRTY PICTURE is such which can’t be watched along with kids. The film gets easily demarcated from family entertainers….Vidya interrupts, “THE DIRTY PICTURE is an Adult film. It should not be watched with kids. Actually, today’s time is quite forward and kids watch more vulgar stuff on net…A sense of responsibility should be developed in today’s children where they can set limits on their own.” Source
