The day has come. Shahrukh Khan turns 46 today. The superstar plans to spend it with good hours of sleep, catching up with his kids, and a party in the evening.

The King Khan has been living out of a suitcase for a while now. First, he set off on a whirlwind tour of India to promote his ‘baby’ Ra.One; then he flew to Dubai, London and Toronto for the respective premieres of the film. He arrived in Delhi for the Indian F1 Grand Prix and the after-party with Lady Gaga. All this while, he has been repeatedly saying that he’s missing his kids Aryan and Suhana.

Thousands of fans gathered to cheer Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor at his first live concert, organised to promote his soon-to-be-released film Rockstar.

The event was held at Bhavans College ground in suburban Andheri here last night. At the concert, Ranbir was accompanied by the Oscar-winning music composer AR Rahman, playback singer Mohit Chauhan, music arranger Ranjit Barot, percussion guru Sivamani and lead actress Nargis Fakhri, among others.

Saadda Haq, the song that has become quite a rage among the youth, was the highlight of the concert.  The ecstatic fans could be seen humming the lyrics of the song, when it was being played. More

As reported yesterday, Aishwarya Rai turned 38 and her fans and well-wishers posted congratulatory messages on Amitabh and Abhishek Bachchan’s Twitter accounts and the father-son duo has thanked everyone on her behalf.

‘First off…let me thank all of you that have wished Aishwarya for her birthday…I shall pass on your greetings to her…gratitude,’ Big B posted on Twitter.

Talking about his forthcoming movie Don 2, SRK says, “Our intention of doing Don was to pay tribute to Amitabh ji.” He also specifies on the fact that there can be no other Don greater than Amitabh Bachchan.

“I hope Amit ji likes Don 2. I am blessed to be born in the period of Amit ji. I want to experience all his great works. I am a huge fan of his masterpieces such as Don, Sholay and Namak Halaal,” He included.

There’s a rumour doing the rounds that Esha Deol will be a part of Yash Chopra’s next directorial venture which stars Shah Rukh Khan, Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma.

Apparently, Yash Chopra decided on Esha after he saw her in Tell Me O Kkhuda.

Yash Chopra has a long-standing bonding with Hema Malini. She was part of his film Trishul and then again in Veer-Zaara. Esha got a major break in Yash Raj’s Dhoom.

When contacted, Esha’s mother Hema Malini said, “Yashji did see Tell Me O Kkhuda and really liked Esha’s performance. He was kind enough to call up and say how much he liked the film and Esha.”

While reliable sources insist that Esha is a part of Chopra’s next directorial venture, Yash Raj’s official spokesperson denied it. Source

SRK’s super hero action film has set a new record at the Indian box office by earning a gross of Rs 170 crore worldwide in the opening weekend (first five days of release).

The highly anticipated Diwali release triumphed at the box office with an incredible weekend gross collection of Rs. 137.25 crore (Net Collection of Rs. 96 crore) in India and Rs. 32.75 crore overseas. Since its release, Ra.One has been creating history by shattering regional, national and international box office record after record with the biggest Diwali day opening followed by the biggest single day collections for an Indian film and now the biggest ever weekend release for both India and overseas box office.

Ra.One opened across more than 4,000 plus screens worldwide (3,100 plus screens in India and 904 prints internationally, including 3D, Tamil and Telugu) and is the biggest Hindi grosser in south markets too. Source

Hrithik Roshan’s wax figure has reportedly made it to the list of top 10 most kissed statues in London’s Madame Tussauds museum.

Though the museum is yet to make an official statement a source confirms that he has indeed made it to the top 10, adding that last year, actor Shah Rukh Khan had made it to the Top 10 list.

According to the source, at least 20 percent of total kissers are males and the rest are women, mostly under the age of 30.

Hrithik, 37, is the youngest Indian actor to have got himself a wax figure at the prestigious Madame Tussauds. His statue was completed in four months and cost 150,000 pounds, the source said.

Other actors, who have got their wax statues, are Shah Rukh Khan, 45, Salman Khan, 45 and Amitabh Bachchan, 69. Source

As the due date nears, you must be getting increasingly asked about the baby and fatherhood?
Actually, I’ve been so busy shooting Bol Bachchan that I haven’t really thought about it. Parenthood is something that’s going to happen naturally, so there’s no point stressing over it.

But you must have begun thinking of baby names and started shopping?
Thinking about names is an ongoing process. We don’t know whether it’s going to be a boy or a girl, but suggestions are more than welcome. We haven’t started shopping yet. More
