Case Filed Against SRK For Dancing With Scantily Dressed Dancers
Shah Rukh Khan, who’s Don 2 will hit the theaters this weekend, has landed himself in a soup with the police in Kochi, Kerala, for violating the Provision of Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) Act, 1986.
On December 4, 2011, Shah Rukh was in Kochi and in connection with inauguration of a textile showroom, had performed on his hit number chammak challo along with scantily-dressed female dancers.
Ernakulam Judicial First Class Magistrate A. Ijas has commanded the cops to register cases against SRK and partners of the showroom, under Sections 3, 6 of the Indecent Representation of Women (Prohibition) act 1986 and under IPC sections 294 (obscene acts and songs) and 34(acts done by several person in furtherance of common intention). The case has been registered on the petition by one Matthew Saju Pulluvuzhi.
