Look What Bipasha Basu’s New Year’s Resolution Is
Guess what is Bipasha Basu’s New Year resolution. Well, the sultry siren of Bollywood wants to be a harmless liar in 2012.
“I am going to lie a bit because sometimes it helps. I tried in 2011 but failed, so this time I am going to try to perfect it,” said the Bong beauty while in town on Monday to promote her upcoming release Player.
“I want to be a harmless liar,” said Bipasha as she interacted with the media at Cinemax, one of Kolkata’s multiplexes.
Bipasha is enthusiastic with PLAYER, an official remake of the Hollywood blockbuster THE ITALIAN JOB, for more than one reason.
The dusky diva said, “The biggest USP of the film is, it’s an Abbas-Mustan film. They make entertainment films and it’s a movie you can enjoy and have a blast.”
“Abbas got me into films; I did my first movie (AJNABEE) with them, so we share a very special bonding,” added Basu.
The action thriller is directed by the Bollywood duo Abbas and Mustan. It is billed to be one of the most expensive films in Bollywood.
The film also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Sonam Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Neil Nitin Mukesh, Sikander Kher, Omi Vaidya, Vinond Khanna and Johnny Lever.
“The movie is not exactly THE ITALIAN JOB. In PLAYERS, the action is bigger, the characters are more dynamic and there are more twists and turns,” said Bipasha.
Basu, who will share screen space with Sonam in the film, praised her saying, “She is a wonderful girl, and we like to hang out with each other.”
Speaking about her expectation from the film, she said, “I am not a person who likes to expect, I believe PLAYERS is going to do well.” Source
