Choreographer-filmmaker Farah Khan is upset about a reported brawl between her superstar friend Shah Rukh Khan and her husband Shirish Kunder at a high-profile party here.

The fight is said to have taken place at popular club Aurus during Sanjay Dutt’s success party for Agneepath Sunday-night-Monday morning.

“Shah Rukh has always told me that physical abuse is the worst way to sort out a problem and that it means the person who is hitting has either a professional or personal crisis going on and it saddens me to see him doing the same,” Farah said in an official statement.

As the news about the fight gained momentum, we tried contacting Shah Rukh’s official spokesperson for a comment, but had not received any response so far. More

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan allegedly punched and slapped Farah Khan’s filmmaker husband Shirish Kunder at a private party thrown by Sanjay Dutt.

The fracas took place late last night at the Agneepath success party at a nightclub where Shah Rukh is said to have roughed up Kunder, who has been taking potshots at the actor and his mega budget film Ra.One on Twitter.

The Jaan-E-Mann director reportedly left the party with a swollen face. The party also came to an end and Dutt and SRK left with the owner of the nightclub soon after.

Actor Hrithik Roshan feels Gauri Khan, the wife of Shah Rukh Khan, one of the hottest and most beautiful women.

The team of The Dirty Picture launched the DVD of the film here Monday, within two months of the release of the film. Producer Ekta Kapoor said the film is the ‘highest pirated film in the history of Indian movies’.

“The Dirty Picture is the highest pirated film in the history of Indian movies and if we had not come out with the DVD now then the piracy would have made much more money than it had already done,” she said.

The Dirty Picture which has opened doors for the single screens yet again managed to make the biggest box office success.

Vidya Balan said “I just knew one thing we all were trying to make a good film as long as you know that nothing is in your control.” More

Agneepath is clearly emerging as the first blockbuster of the year 2012. After a slight dip in the collections on Friday, the film picked up well on Saturday and Sunday. Here’ the lowdown.

The film, starring Hrithik Roshan, Sanjay Dutt, Rishi Kapoor and Priyanka Chopra, opened to a thunderous start on the Republic Day, January 26, when it broke off all box office records for the first-day earning, by raking in a whopping Rs. 23 crore.

However, there was an alarming fall in the collections on Friday with the day bringing in just Rs. 12 crore into the film’s kitty. The response picked up on Saturday as the collections role to Rs. 14.5 crore. Sunday was still better with Rs. 17.5 crore.

Totting up the figures leaves us with an aggregate first weekend collection of Rs. 67.5 crore for Agneepath, which is quite good and justifies all the partying by the film’s actors to celebrate its success. More

The 57th Idea Filmfare awards was held in Mumbai on Jan. 29, 2012, with “Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara” bagging the award for the best film. The awards show was held at the Reliance MediaWorks Studios at Filmcity, Goregaon, Mumbai.

Ranbir Kapoor won the Best Actor for “Rockstar” and Vidya Balan won the Best Actress award for “The Dirty Picture.”  A.R. Rahman won the best music director award for “Rockstar.”  Shah Rukh Khan and Ranbir Kapoor were the hosts of the Awards Show.

Filmfare Awards began on a somber note with artists from Coke Studio paying a tribute to actors Dev Anand and Shammi Kapoor who passed away last year. More
