Who Says Shahrukh Is Selling His Stake In KKR?

Shah Rukh Khan and his IPL cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders have been in the news nowadays for the recent Wankhede stadium scuffle as well as the team winning the IPL finals. Now, it seems that a new rumour has been doing the rounds that the King Khan plans to sell off his stake in the franchise, which, needless to say, has baffled the Don.

When contacted to comment on this news, SRK was quoted saying, “Why should I sell the stake? As far as I know, there are no such plans. But I am not aware if someone else is doing it without keeping me in the loop! Honestly, I am not looking for stake owners at all. Instead, I want strong strategic partners who can help in terms of expertise and also bring it to others sports like football or hockey.”

Incidentally, the ‘King of Romance’, as he is popularly known, also plans to buy a 50% stake in Goa based football club Dempo. On the acting front, Shah Rukh Khan will be soon seen romancing Katrina Kaif for the very first time in Yash Chopra’s untitled romance, which is set to release in Diwali this year. Source
