Adult movie star Sunny Leone, who makes her debut in Bollywood with Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2‘, says, she is overwhelmed with the reception she has got in India and feels that the audience is ready to see her on silver screen.

While interacting with the sources, Sunny stated, “I did not think that people will like me because of my background, like what I do for my living in America. I was not sure if this thing would be accepted. But I am very much happy with the welcome and response I have got here”.

“A lot of backlash already happened when I was in ‘Bigg Boss‘. A lot of noise already happened about when I was there on TV. But after spending few weeks in the house, I felt something good might be going outside to the world as I was not kicked out soon,” Sunny said.

“They (audience) got to know me as a person and things worked out for me, as I got this movie,” she said.

When asked if India is ready for an adult star doing a movie here, Sunny said, “I think they just took me in one movie. I think a whole new world has opened up I think the young generation of people are ready to see someone like me on TV otherwise I would not be here, sitting like this.”

‘Sex’ and ‘comedy’ are two of the most significant elements of Bollywood films but haven’t been often spoken in the same breath. So when the Kyaa Kool Hain Hum series attempts to do so, however juvenile the adult humour might appear, the combo is still tempting and tantalizing.

Kya Super Kool Hai Hum’s revolves around the story of two brothers: Adi (Tushar Kapoor) and Sid (Riteish Deshmukh). Adi is a struggling actor, who dreams of making a grand debut in Bollywood with films like ‘Chingham’, Adidas (Devdas). Sid (Riteish Deshmukh)’s DJing skills are wasted on sad Gujarati-gone-wild parties. According to an astrologer, Adi’s fortunes will turn when he meets the love of his life, Simi (Neha Sharma).

Then, love strucks when Adi meets Simi and falls head over heels in love with her. On the other hand, Sid meets model Anu (Sarah Jane Dias) at a fashion show, where Anu suffers a “wardrobe malfunction.” Things turn ugly, yet funny after they land up in Goa. Next, what happens? What works for the film is the fact that it is extremely unapologetic about the ‘nonsense’ that they have churned out for the audience. In the climax, when compared to Jai of ‘Sholay’ and Anand of ‘Anand’, Deshmukh says, ‘Hum ordinary film ke hero hai, woh extra ordinary films the’. Yes, the film is just that-ordinary, in fact lower than that. But they seem to have fun. Yes, some bits are funny, quite hilarious and Riteish and Anupam Kher share a ‘good chemistry’, which makes their scenes enjoyable to watch. But they are far and few in between. It is also unfortunate to see a veteran actor like Kher mouth dialogues full of double meanings. Kher’s comic timing remains intact but to see him being part of a film like this makes you cringe a bit.

Filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali and actor Akshay Kumar have come together for the first time for a film titled ‘Rowdy Rathore’.

It will be an ‘action’ film to be produced by Bhansali and co-produced by designer Shabinaa Khan. According to Bhansali, action genre for him is a totally alien concept. “At this juncture as a filmmaker, I want to move out of the comfort zone and do things that are new and untried,” the `Guzaarish‘ director said.

While Rowdy Rathore was a remake of the Telugu hit Vikramarkudu (2006), this one is a take on the 2002 Tamil blockbuster, Ramana. The film has already been remade in Telugu as Tagore (2003), and then in Kannada as Vishnu Sena (2005).

As per a source, “Both (Akshay and Sanjay) had a great time working on Rowdy Rathore. Sanjay is confident that Akshay can carry off this role perfectly, given his image as a rugged action hero”.

The source added, “Right now, Sanjay has put everything on hold and is focusing on Ram Leela. Akshay is busy with the pre-production work of Once Upon… At this point, the female lead and director haven’t been finalized yet”. In the film Akki will play a vigilante who fights corruption in the action-packed film. Buzz even has it that Ghajini (2008) director AR Murugadoss, who also directed the original Ramana, will direct the Hindi version.

She looks chic in a unique, red sari teamed with a daring, blue net blouse. The look is for an item song titled “Halkat jawaani”, and is also reminiscent of Vidya Balan’s look from “The Dirty Picture”.

Whether or not Heroine is a mix of Fashion and The Dirty Picture is something viewers will have to wait until its release on September 21.

“Jism” actress Bipasha Basu and “Jism 2” heroine Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone will share a common platform Aug 3. The trailer of Bipasha’s “Raaz 3” is set to be unveiled with Sunny’s Bollywood debut “Jism 2″.

Actress-turned-director Pooja Bhatt, who has helmed the sequel of the 2003 film ‘Jism’, told IANS: “Yes, On Aug 3, you all will see Bipasha and Sunny together. It was a decision taken together to release the trailer of Raaz 3 with Jism 2.”

Pooja believes she has chosen a safe release date for her erotic thriller, which also features Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh.

“We have a clean week on Aug 3, and Ek Tha Tiger is coming on Aug 15 and the release of `Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum` was preponed to July 27,” she said.

Bipasha`s ‘Raaz 3’, a sequel to ‘Raaz – The Mystery Continues’, is directed by Vikram Bhatt. It features Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta too.

Akshay Kumar‘s upcoming movie Joker is set to release. The Trailer of the movie is out and has got terrific response from the audiences. The movie is all about he Akshay as an NRI and his made aliens.

Helmed by Shirish Kunder, Joker is all set to hit theatres on August 31. The latest buzz doing rounds is that the flick will incorporate a new language. It is notable that James Cameron developed a new language for aliens in his movie Avatar and it seems that Shirish is following the same style in his forthcoming Joker.

A source from the industry adds, “Avatar was about aliens and for that Cameron had invented the language ‘Na Vi’. Now, Joker which again has aliens holding centre stage also sees a new language which has been named Gaalaguzi.”

The interesting part is that the new language will be spoken by Shreyas Talpade not by aliens as the actor will be seen as an inhabitant of the imaginary village Paglapur. On being quizzed, filmmaker Shirish told the sources, “There is a definite reason why another language was needed in Joker. The kind of words and other lingo that you would hear here are totally new as well as perfectly relevant.”

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his family had some anxious moments after an unidentified person broke into their house Jalsa. The 69-year-old actor wrote about the incident in his blog, saying that the person is in the custody of the police, who are now investigating the case.

“Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa,” Amitabh wrote on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com, Saturday.

Jalsa is the new house where Amitabh and Jaya live with son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and grand-daughter Aaradhya while younger brother Ajitabh lives in Prateeksha.

Janak is used as their office. Janak also has a gym which the Bachchans use regularly.
