Rohit Shetty and Ajay Devgn took everyone by storm with their recent masaledar and dhamakedar venture Singham.

The movie’s magic has not even spared Ajay’s ‘Bol Bachchan’ co-star Abhishek Bachchan. Heard that Jr. B is very much in awe with Devgn’s hefty look in ‘Singham’. The two actors share good rapport while shooting for ‘Bol Bachchan’ and during such bonding time Ajay said to have suggested Abhishek to try and work on his own body.

After Ajay Devgn was praised by Salman Khan for his new six pack look in forthcoming action film Singham, the former has now returned the compliment.

The 42-year-old actor, who will be seen in an action film after a gap of eight years, said it feels great to be complimented by Salman who has the best body in the industry.

“Salman has the best body in the industry. We are very good friends and when he tweeted about my six packs for my film, I take it as a compliment,” he said. More

Salman Khan, Ajay Devgn and Sanjay Dutt will work together in a film that will be jointly produced by them. The discussion is on in the initial stages.

The three actors have never done a film together except for a brief appearance in Salman’s latest blockbuster Ready in which Zarine Khan elopes with him, only to get married to Ajay. Sanjay plays a registrar, who also happens to be a divorce lawyer.

With the promos coming out, Ajay Devgn’s  SINGHAM is touted to be another DABANGG and a lot of comparisons are being made with respect to action sequences and presenting style. However, Ajay makes it clear that there is no similarity between the two.

Says Ajay, “We have nothing to do with DABANGG. The only similarity is that both are wearing uniform. The story is same but whole screenplay is changed.”

Furthermore Ajay says that the action in SINGHAM is in a raw format though presented in stylized manner as compared to other action movies, “It’s a very raw action presented into a stylized manner which has not happened earlier. Either it’s a raw action or its stylized action which we have seen till date.” More

Star performer Ajay Devgn turned to his half-Maharashtrian wife, actress Kajol for help when he was required to deliver dialogues fluently in Marathi for his role in Reliance Entertainment’s Singham.

Ajay, who plays a tough senior inspector Bajirao Singham in the action movie, has a few scenes where he had to speak in Marathi, and he wanted to perfect it.

Since Kajol, whose mother Tanuja is a Maharashtrian, has a good hold on the language, she was more than excited to help her husband. She taught Ajay how to pronounce a few words authentically, and he picked up the accent within minutes.

As per our sources, the out-and-out comedy ‘Bol Bachchan’ earlier had Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan on board while the hunt for their leading ladies was on. Now it is said that Asin and Genelia D’Souza have been signed on respectively.

It is said that Asin and Ajay share the same endorsement company which helped the actress to bag this film. However, some sources share that that’s not the case and Asin is just impressed with the script while she is yet to give her nod for the project. Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn is busy giving suggestions on love and romance these days to the young contestants of the popular reality show on UTV Bindass-Emotional Atyachaar Season 3.

Ajay is only sharing his thoughts on romance and love he is also hosting two episodes of Emotional Atyachaar Season 3.

“It is not worth wasting or finishing your life for someone who does not love you,” Ajay said on the show.

If things really go as per plans for Ajay Devgn, he would be enjoying a dream run this July when his Singham releases. Such loud has been the roar of his rustic action flick that there is no film daring to release for as many as three weeks after Singham, hence giving it a free run.

“When release date of 22nd July was announced for Singham, quite a few filmmakers were wary there and then and preferred to bring their films to a later date. However, one would have never imagined that leave aside getting into a heads-on clash, no film wanted to come even a week or two after Singham. This is unprecedented”, says an industry insider.

There was Mausam which was willing to take up the challenge though. However, just a few days back even this Shahid Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor starrer decided to move away from the competition. Though the official reason stated is some additional time that the film requires for post production, the fact remains that for Singham it is a zero competition zone now. More

Ajay Devgn and Salman Khan have recently been bonding over workouts and general fitness. Reveals a source, “When Salman saw Ajay’s bare-bodied look in Singham he loved it so much that he immediately called him up and complimented him on it. Since then they have been discussing and sharing tips on fitness and health. ”

When Devgn requested Khan to attach the Singham promo with Ready (releases June 3), the star personally called up his producer Bhushan Kumar and asked him to do the needful. AJ has even promised to show the film to Sallu, on his return from London.

Says an insider, “Everyone knows that Salman goes all out to promote the films he loves. Many people including Aamir Khan’s Delhi Belly, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobaara, Ghayal 2 and Chillar Party have attached their promos to Ready’s prints. ” More

There were recent reports about Shahid Kapoor and Ajay Devgan fighting over releasing their respective films, MAUSAM and SINGHAM on the same date, July 22. The reports also said that Shahid has been sending Ajay messages requesting him to consider a date change. However, these reports are totally baseless.

A close hand to Shahid Kapoor says, “Shahid or no one else from MAUSAM unit called Ajay Devgn and Rohit Shetty to change the release date of SINGHAM. The reports are totally incorrect.”
