Stories of Sunny Leone’s erotic seduction spreads far and wide. And even as her debut in Bollywood created a lusty wave almost triggering a tsunami here in India, the angel looking porn star is gearing up with her new release titled ‘Ragini MMS 2’.

The entire nation was swept by Sunny mania as director Pooja Bhatt dared to cast a world renowned porn star in her film ‘Jism 2’. Men waited with bated breath to see the same girl they watched in x-rated films on the big screen now. But, to the disappointment of many, Sunny Leone didn’t live up to her standard.

As per the sizzling promos of the hot cake of the Jism 2 Sunny Leone, people were anticipating screen burning scenes but the flick failed to please people on this front. Sunny Leone is an Indo Canadian porn star, to lure the audience, the makers of the movie introduced her in a very tempting manner but the burning sensation broke their hearts by not exposing so much. Some gossip mongers are saying that the flick failed to garner the required response because she didn’t expose so much.

On being quizzed, Sunny clarified and told the sources “We have a different set of rules in India. There is a Censor Board we have to answer to, whose rules are pretty strict. There is an adult film industry everywhere. But I did this movie knowing it is mainstream Hindi cinema. I’m sorry for letting them down by not exposing”.

Sunny Leone turned out to be a rage of sorts in India ever since she entered Bigg Boss house last year. And since then it has been like a fairytale journey for her and it was only in the reality show she signed her first film with Bhatt Productions, titled Jism 2.

Now as the film has hit the screens and she is also receiving praises for her acting, Sunny is gung-ho as she starts working on her next film with Ekta Kapoor, which is a sequel of Ragini MMS. And currently most important for her is to learn Hindi as in her debut film her voice was dubbed by an Indian dubbing artiste Smita Malhotra.

“My Hindi needs improvement. I am definitely using my own voice in my next film. I wish I had worked more closely with my Hindi tutor over my Hindi during Jism 2. I was having so much fun shooting for this film I forgot to concentrate on improving my Hindi. It was a mistake,” she says.

Indo-Canadian star Sunny Leone teamed up with Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in her Bollywood debut “Jism 2″, and now she has expressed a desire to work with Hindi movie star Salman Khan.

“Whoever wants to work with me, I want to work with them. But Salman Khan is on the top of my list,” the 31-year-old said here Sunday during a visit to a theatre for a public interaction.

Recently released “Jism 2” was promoted aggressively before its release and Dino Morea, co-producer of the erotic thriller, says it’s important to promote a film after it hits the screens.

“We got a great opening, the first day was very good. I would like to say that promotions should continue even after the film’s release because you should see how the audience is reacting. Most often after a film’s release, the actors and crew disappear. We don’t want to do that,” the 36-year-old said.

Dino also thanked the public for their positive response to the film.

“Thank you all for coming and buying tickets. We have brought you Sunny and everywhere else it is totally a ‘paisa vasool’ show,” said Dino.

Sunny said: “Thank you for coming and buying tickets. Thank you so much for inviting me in your homes and hearts. I love you all and hope you do too.”

According to the latest industry updates, Sunny Leone had apparently demanded to see medical certificates of her co-stars Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh before agreeing to shoot intimate scenes with them.

Ever since Sunny Leone signed the dotted lines for Pooja Bhatt’s upcoming film co-starring Randeep Hooda and Arunoday Singh, she has consistently made headlines.

This will be her first Bollywood film, and buzz is that before shooting for the project, Sunny put a condition in front of Pooja. Apparently, the adult film actress demanded to see medical certificates of both her co-stars.

A source close to the film says, “Before Sunny was to join the cast and crew to shoot her portions, she sent an e-mail to Pooja demanding a medical certificate of Randeep and Arunoday with whom she was scheduled to shoot lovemaking sequences. In all fairness she also sent her own medical certificate. Basically, she wanted to make sure that she was not going to shoot with anyone who had any life threatening disease (Read HIV).”

The source explains, “Pooja Bhatt then told her that this was not the norm in Bollywood unlike for the adult films that Sunny does. The director also explained to her that she would not require to film sequences that she normally shoots for her adult films.”

As the ‘Jism 2’ story unfolds on screen, a topless Sunny Leone introduces herself as Izna in the packed movie hall – the audience start hooting for the woman who has made almost all men across the nation go weak on their knees. Forget men, even women can’t help but admire her raw sex appeal.

Pooja Bhatt’s much hyped erotic thriller makes a mockery of the genre. ‘Jism 2’ starts with Izna, a porn star, narrating her (love) story with a pinch of guilt while she is on her deathbed. Izna earns her daily living by sleeping with men at random hotels. Enter Ayaan (played by Arunoday Singh) who sleeps with her one night and the following morning introduces himself as an officer of some secret Indian intelligence agency. Ayaan’s mission is to convince Izna to do ‘desh ki madad’ by approaching her ex-lover Kabir (played by Randeep Hooda) who is now an assassin wiping out prominent figures from the political and security arena. So, Izna packs her bags with Ayaan and flies down all the way to Sri Lanka with the aim to extract Kabir’s secret data that helps him in helming all his criminal activities.

So here we have a typical Bollywood cliché – a complex love triangle where a woman is trapped between her long lost emotions for her ex-lover Kabir and Ayaan’s growing fondness for her which she too, at times, reciprocates. But our ‘patriot’ porn star Izna must kill her emotions for Kabir to save the nation.

The story maybe a bit obscure but the screenplay is quite well-written though it is hard to compare the movie with ‘Arth’ as the film’s director Pooja Bhatt claims it to be. Also, keeping aside the few aesthetically shot sex scenes in the film and Leone’s cleavage show, it is unfair to bracket it as an erotic or a sleazy film.

Both, Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda fit well into their respective characters but the trophy goes to Randeep for portraying such an intense role with élan. As Kabir, Hooda does things passionately- be it making love, killing or even reciting Urdu poetry.

Moving on to the new heartthrob of millions in India- Sunny Leone is not that bad either. Despite her dubbed dialogues, it shows that she has put an effort in her debut Hindi film. The girl looks fresh, beautiful and convincing onscreen.

But the film falls short to create that much needed impact. It is hard to decipher why Arunoday Singh has to first sleep with Sunny Leone before introducing himself. Was it because even he could not resist the ‘golden’ chance of making love to her? Second, Sunny Leone claims herself to be a porn star in the film, but there is hardly any scene that shows her getting filmed while doing the act. Funnily, she is shown sleeping around men to earn her bread and butter. Can someone please tell Ms Bhatt that a porn star need not be a prostitute?

One of the most awaited movie of the year Jism 2 has finally released yesterday. The review of the movie is not so good, still the audiences have enjoyed it well. The Indo-Canadian Porn Star Sunny Leone has at last made her Bollywood debut.

Adult movie star Sunny Leone, who makes her debut in Bollywood with Pooja Bhatt’s ‘Jism 2‘, says, she is overwhelmed with the reception she has got in India and feels that the audience is ready to see her on silver screen.

While interacting with the sources, Sunny stated, “I did not think that people will like me because of my background, like what I do for my living in America. I was not sure if this thing would be accepted. But I am very much happy with the welcome and response I have got here”.

“A lot of backlash already happened when I was in ‘Bigg Boss‘. A lot of noise already happened about when I was there on TV. But after spending few weeks in the house, I felt something good might be going outside to the world as I was not kicked out soon,” Sunny said.

“They (audience) got to know me as a person and things worked out for me, as I got this movie,” she said.

When asked if India is ready for an adult star doing a movie here, Sunny said, “I think they just took me in one movie. I think a whole new world has opened up I think the young generation of people are ready to see someone like me on TV otherwise I would not be here, sitting like this.”
