Actors might play heroes on screen most of the time, but Ashmit Patel, who is making a comeback to cinema with Haare Ka Sahara certainly proved that he is a hero in real life too. The actor reportedly helped an accident victim in suburban Bandra recently.

A source was quoted to have said, “As the actor was driving back home, he saw a man lying on the other side of the road. The man was profusely injured and there was a rammed bike some 10 feet ahead. Ashmit ran to the man and saw that he had a big gash on his forehead and had twisted his leg badly. The actor tried to pick him up and by then a considerable amount of crowd gathered. Ashmit along with another man managed to get hold of an ambulance and brought the man to Bhabha hospital in Bandra for medical treatment. The actor also made a few calls, managed to trace the victim’s friend and even offered money to the family which they politely turned down.”

Actress Ameesha Patel’s brother, Ashmit was last seen in ‘Bigg Boss Season 4′, where his chemistry with Pakistani actress Veena Malik was much talked about even after the show got over. Source

This week on UTV Bindass Superstud, the competition gets tougher for the studs and to give them a few tips Ashmit has invited the man who knows it all, the man known to charm the ladies and steal hearts, Emraan Hashmi. He visited the Stud farm and was delighted to meet his good friend aka Superstud, Ashmit Patel after a long time.

Soon after they met, Ashmit introduced Emraan to the contestants, who were equally excited to interact with him. While introducing him Ashmit proclaimed, “Emraan is the original stud and the boys should look up to him and definitively note down the tips given by him.” More

It is a known fact that Actor Ashmit Patel’s recent antics on reality show Bigg Boss (Season 4) with housemate and rumored flame Veena Malik earned him various tags.

Veena Malik celebrates her 27th birthday with her “so called” best friend Ashmit Patel at Delhi’s five star hotel. Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel were the Guests of Honour at Nyx for a grand celebration of Veena Malik’s Birthday. This was the first birthday party that Veena Malik celebrated in India, complete with a cake cutting ceremony at 12 midnight, accompanied by the cheering crowd. The party went of with DJ Akbar Sami’s rocking music.

As the two cosy up after the cake-cutting, Ashmit says he can’t label their relationship. “If she wants to hug me or hold my hand, she will – people can talk all they like. She’s special to me. There’s a big ‘if’ to what happens next.”

Veena Malik adds, “There is something very special between us, a very strong chemistry, Ashmit really made my birthday very special by coming down to Delhi.” Source

Not even a week into `Bigg Boss 4`, Ashmit and Sara`s friendship is there for all to see. Sara apparently started smoking after `Bidaai`. She smokes about one or two cigarettes a day, but Ashmit tried discouraging her to do so as it is harmful for her health.
