The National Award winning actress Konkona Sen Sharma was on a break for some time and she was last seen on the big screen in a brief role in Vishal Bhardwaj’s 7 Khoon Maaf. She had also worked in Vishal’s Omkara too where she had an important role to play. Konkona will again be seen in Vishal Bhardwaj and Ekta Kapoor’s ‘Ek Thi Daayan’ which is a Horror Film.

This is the first time I am doing horror and I am collaborating with some great people like Vishal, Ekta, Huma Qureshi, so I am very excited about it,” said Konkana Sen Sharma. The actress last year gave birth to a baby boy and believes motherhood has changed her completely and helped her grow as an actress. Konkana also admitted that she does get scared by every little thing.

“I am very excited because I am coming after a long time as I had a baby. Now my baby is a little older and I have come back with quite an interesting film. This is the first time I am doing horror and I am collaborating with some great people like Vishal, Ekta, Huma Qureshi, so I am very excited about it.” said Konkona Sen Sharma. The actress last year gave birth to a baby boy and believes ‘Mother-Hood’ has changed her completely and helped her grow as an Actress. Konkona also admitted that she does get’s scared by every little things.

“I agree that Mother-Hood has helped me grow as an Actress. Since i am doing a Horror Film, Yes i do get little scared by everything. During my Childhood, I used to hear that at night you must not talk about ghosts. So we as Kids were always scared of talking about Ghost or Evil Spirits at night.” added the actress.

Emraan Hashmi, who rose to fame by becoming the “serial Kisser” of Bollywood, is now going to make his international debut soon which will be directed by the Academy Award (Oscar) winning director Danis Tanovic.

Emraan Hashmi has been invited to the premier of Danis Tanovic’s latest venture “An Episode in the Life of an Iron Picker” at Berlin International Film Festival, he feels this movie will be the perfect platform for him to prove that he is among India’s finest actors.
Hashmi who is super excited about the movie said “It is high concept story, has an Indian team behind it and a director like Danis, who has a lot of clout globally. I am hoping that this film will open all the doors for me as an actor”.

Tanovic has become world famous after winning the Oscar award for the Best Foreign Language movie for the war drama ‘No Man’s Land’ in 2001 which also beat our Indian movie “Lagaan” that year in the respective category.

His next movie which does not have a title yet will be produced by Anurag kashyap Films Ltd along with Sikhya Entertainment and Cinemorphic. It stars Emraan Hashmi in the lead role and has strong indian connect in terms of script, details of other cast are yet to be revealed.

Emraan Hashmi made his debut back in 2003 with Footpath and has established himself in the Bollywood after delivering hits like Murder(2004), Gangster(2005), Jannat(2007), Once upon a time in Mumbai(2010). He also won lot of critical acclamation for his performance in the movie “Shanghai” which actually made Tanovic choose him for his next movie. Hope Tanovic’s movie paves path for Emraan to become an international star soon.

While most Bollywood hotties would love to have dolls modelled on them in their gorgeous best, actresses Konkona Sen Sharma, Kalki Koechlin and Huma Qureshi have done just the opposite. The three actresses, who will be seen in an upcoming supernatural thriller that also stars Emraan Hashmi – have lent their faces to dolls that have been modelled to look like daayans.According to insiders, the dolls will be dressed in black robes and will have their feet pointing backwards.

“Initially, when the filmmakers (producers Vishal Bhardwaj, Ekta Kapoor and director Kannan Iyer) came up with the idea of having these evil-looking dolls that would resonate with the theme of their film Ek Thi Daayan, there was no plan to make them look like either of the three actresses. In fact, when the team bounced these ideas to the cast, they were a bit apprehensive about how it will be received and joked that it would be nice to have the faces of their leads for the dolls. But then Konkona, Kalki and Huma sportingly agreed and the idea to make dolls replicating them came about,” shares the insider.

Reportedly, talks are underway between the production house and a leading brand of toy manufacturers to roll out these daayan dolls that will be part of the film’s merchandise. “It will be a unique marketing move, because so far we’ve only had doll replicas of super-heroes here, apart from Katrina, who has a doll modelled on her looks,” adds the insider.

Their sizzling chemistry in 2002 release Raaz made all sweat leaving the town completely in awe of the intimacy they showed on screen. Even after a decade, the Dino Morea and Bipasha Basu starrer tops the charts and happens to be a favorite of masses. Critics may have not liked “Raaz 3″ too much, but Dino Morea is confident that Bipasha Basu will sweep all the awards next year.

It is to note that during Raaz, the two were very much in love only to part ways later on. But still they are good buddies and hold great respect for each other. And this was revealed when Dino was heard praising Bipasha for her fab act in Raaz 3, co-starring Emraan Hashmi and Esha Gupta. Actor- producer Dino Morea stated, “One thing I can say that Bipasha will win all the awards next year. I got really scared, it’s a nice film. It has been shot really well, quite scary. Audiences’ reactions were very good”.

But the twists start for her after the entry of a new actress Sanjana (Esha Gupta), who slowly overshadows the dominance of Shanaya in Bollywood. Now, its very difficult to Shanaya to digest her loss and eventually she looses her temperament that develops a thinking in her mind that god has never done her anything right. So to take her revenge she turns to the darker sides and takes the help of the evil spirit (Manish Choudhary) who gives her some water encoded with some black magic that will diminish the success of Sanjana by making her mentally ill.

Vikram Bhatt has mastered the art of sending a shudder down your vertebrae. The horror quotient in RAAZ 3 is sure to make you break into a cold sweat at times, but what really catches your attention is the human element. In fact, RAAZ 3 takes the negativity factor in women to an altogether different altitude. Writer Shagufta Rafique amalgamates vendetta, jealousy, conflict, drama and sexuality to create a chilling saga.

It’s very infrequent that a Hindi film heroine gets to illustrate such a commanding character and Bipasha seizes the opportunity with both her hands, coming up with a bravura act. Her audacious scenes, unabashed approach and oozing sex appeal set the screen aflame. Enacting the role of an actress whose career is on a downslide, Bipasha gets the character accurate. RAAZ was a turning point in her career and RAAZ 3 should mark the commencement of a fresh phase for this gifted actress.

Model-turned-actress Esha Gupta is sharing screen space with Emraan Hashmi for the second time in Raaz 3 and she considers the actor her mentor. The 26-year-old, who played the leading lady opposite Hashmi in her debut film “Jannat 2″, said that she was initially intimidated by him but now she cannot do much without his guidance.

This is the second time that the actress will be seen sharing screen space with him. After working with him in the movie Jannat 2, now she is intimidated by him and can’t do anything without his guidance.

Esha said, “I love Emraan. I was really scared of him during Jannat 2, where he used to give his shots like a piece of cake and I would just look at him tongue-tied. He is really sweet, quite like my mentor and he has given me a lot of tips.”

Esha Gupta is just one film old in Bollywood, but she is all set to push the envelop when it comes to bold scenes. The hot and sultry actress claims that her co-star Emraan Hashmi is a friend and there were no inhibitions about kissing scenes with the actor.

Esha shares the screen space with serial kisser even in her second film and about the same, she says, “I am lucky that I am working with Emraan again as it gives me experience and comfort. I became an Emraan Hashmi fan after Zeher. I remember, I wasn’t allowed to go to theatres, so I saw that film at home. That time I realized that he is a good actor. For me it was always Emraan Hashmi, the actor.”

“Now, almost everyone kisses in a film. We have seen Deepika and Saif, Ranbir and Nargis. Kissing is not such a big deal, but its just Emraan, who has got the tag of serial kisser. I was not at all nervous while kissing him. We treated those scenes just like any other scene,” adds the actress.
