Action in Bollywood films was of the “dhishoom, dhishoom” variety till the 1990s, but advanced technology and increased use of special effects brought in a new twist. Technology may have made action safer but not easier, says Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, known as much for his superbly executed action stunts in films and ads as for his acting. “Action is not easier (with better technology). Maybe it is safer,”.
Hrithik has done films like Mission Kashmir, Krrish, Dhoom 2 and Agneepath, all of which gave him ample scope to demonstrate the daredevilry that has won him so many fans. He recently wrapped up the action-packed Krrish 3, and even jumped off a cliff in Bali for an ad for aerated drink Mountain Dew.
“There is a lot more that you can visualise now than before. There is a lot more scope for you to think out of the box, and things which were unimaginable a few years back are now possible. At 39, and after over a decade of making his way to the A-listers of Bollywood, Hrithik, son of veteran actor-filmmaker Rakesh Roshan, believes success comes when “dreams turn to challenges”.

Filmmaker Karan Malhotra, who is gearing up for his second film Shuddhi, says the leading lady for the film is not yet finalised. However, there were reports that Kareena Kapoor has been roped in for the project opposite Hrithik Roshan.
While Hrithik Roshan is being finalized to play the role of Lord Shiva, it is now either Deepika Padukone or Kareena Kapoor Khan that will play the role of Princess Sati in the film Shuddhi.
And recently it was also in news that Kareena Kapoor is likely to play the female lead in the film. A while ago, the rumours were rife that actress Katrina Kaif will be seen liplocking with Hrithik Roshan in their upcoming movie Bang Bang. But now It is official. Katrina Kaif will not liplock with Hrithik Roshan for Bang Bang. Although the smooch was part of the script and there had been discussions to the effect, the actress is now insisting that she won’t do the kissing scene with him.The reason for this sudden about turn has to do with her ex boyfriend Salman Khan.
Salman Khan was very upset with Katrina’s smooching scene with Shahrukh Khan in the film Jab Tak Hai Jaan. Not because she kissed SRK but because she went to great lengths to hide the fact from him. After Salman discovered the hidden truth, he stopped speaking to the actress ever since then.
She thinks that by refusing to do a kissing scene now would appease her ex.Katrina Kaif had also said that there’s been no talks about any kissing scene in Bang Bang. In fact, the rumours about all liplock scenes in the film is false. it has been said “Salman would not have cared about her kissing scenes with SRK in JTHJ but the fact that she went to great lengths to keep it hidden from him, pissed him off.
She ensured that even the common business manager did not find out about the smooches, in case it was communicated back to Salman.Where as Siddharth Anand says, “This is really irrelevant! Such news doesn’t deserve a comment really. We all don’t want our film to be associated with such stories!”

Jab Tak Hai Jaan actor Katrina Kaif recently opted for an utter glamorous look in a formal ensemble. She has appeared on the cover of Harper’s Bazaar.
On the cover page, Kat is seen dressed in a stylish Michael Kors creation teamed with a smart white bustier. Her French-manicured black and white nails look flawless and dully complement the look she has donned.
This makes one agree that she always manages to look elegant and just perfect in the formal attires. This shoot from Kat’s end has surely come as a surprise for all as the lady hardly goes for any skin show for magazine covers. However, she is looking simply cool with the bustier look; and the look has been shot in quite an aesthetic way. The metallic earrings are pretty and the side-swept bangs are also fab.
Meanwhile, at the work front, Katrina is presently busy with Dhoom 3 opposite Aamir Khan. As she gets free from Dhoom, she will start working on Bang Bang along with Hrithik Roshan. Bang Bang is the official remake of Knight and Day.

Now, there is one more admirer Akshay Kumar added to his fan list. He is so impressed that he wants his son Aarav to learn dance from Hrithik Roshan.
Well! It seems Duggu has won a new fan for himself in the form of Akshay Kumar. He is so impressed that he wishes that his son Aarav would get the dancing lessons from him. Akshay was bowled over by one of the recent scorching dance performance that Hrithik put up on stage during an award function.
Akshay Kumar recently quoted while speaking to a leading national daily, “This is something I have always thought — if Hrithik ever opens a dance class, my son would be the first person to join it. I am talking to him to see if he can coach my son to dance.” The khiladi also added, “What he brings to the dance floor is refreshing. He keeps getting better and better. He should be seen in more films and stage shows.”
“What he (Hrithik) brings to the dance floor is refreshing. He keeps getting better and better. He should be seen in more films and stage shows,” says Akshay. Picky about what projects he works on, Hrithik hasn’t done a film since Agneepath in January last year. He will be seen in the superhero film Krrish 3 towards the end of 2013.
A source close to the actor says that Akshay will now meet Hrithik for a longer discussion on dance. “Akshay thinks Hrithik is a perfect dancer. And that’s why he should do more films,” says the source.

Bollywood actor Hrithik Roshan, who is undoubtedly the best dancer that the film fraternity boasts off, took the audience by surprise by setting the stage on fire with his performance at a recently held award function .
The actor, who returned back to stage after a hiatus of six-long-years, has been reportedly approached for two stage shows for this year.
A leading tabloid quoted a source as saying that,”Hrithik recently performed at an awards night. And ever since then, he has been flooded with offers to do stage shows again. The actor had last done a stage show during the release of Jodhaa Akbar.”
“He is known to be an excellent dancer and has been overwhelmed by the feedback to his recent performance,” the source added.
Before his recent appearance on stage, the 39-year-old actor had last performed in 2008 during the release of Jodhaa Akbar.
Apparently his knee injury prevented him from dancing at shows but now the healthy and fit actor, who is gearing up for a Diwali release of his home production, will take some time out in summer to do an overseas tour.

Last year saw Hrithik Roshan joining the Rs100-crore club with Agneepath. According to industry insiders, a slew of offers followed for the star. Hrithik, however, chose to focus only on his father, filmmaker Rakesh Roshan’s ambitious flick Krissh 3 that will see him reprise the role of a superhero.
He has now plunged into his next flick, the action thriller Bang Bang, said to be the Indian remake of the Tom Cruise-starrer Knight and Day. The actor, however, denies that the Siddharth Anand film is a remake. “It’s a different take completely,” says Hrithik refusing to divulge any further details on the film. But ask the sexy star about missing from the big screen for more than a year now, and Hrithik says that he plans to change that. “I will complete two films this year; so, I will make up for the gap. But may be I should make a resolution of doing more films in a year,” he laughs.
On a more serious note, he adds, “Krissh 3 is a very special film for me and I wanted to be there with my dad all through it. I am equally involved in the post-production. I was totally focused on that and didn’t want to commit to anything during that period. Yes, it took more than a year’s time, but the nature of the film is such that it required it.”
Also, keeping him busy were his several endorsements, including the soft drink brand which was earlier endorsed by Salman Khan.
“The endorsements are an extension of the real us, combined with the appeal of our screen persona. That’s why I don’t believe in endorsing anything that I am not convinced of,” adds the actor.

Hrithik Roshan for the first time spoke about working with Shekhar Kapur in his ambitious project Paani. Speaking to the media at an event held at Subhash Ghai’s film school Whistling Woods International (WWI), Hrithik said, “I am looking forward to working with Mr.Shekhar Kapur. Working with him has always been a dream for me.
Paani is a dream and I hope it happens.” There’s buzz that Kristen Stewart of Twilight fame has been signed opposite Hrithik though nothing has been confirmed as yet. Paani is produced by Yash Raj Films with music by A.R. Rahman. The film is based in a futuristic world where wars over water have broken out.

Hrithik Roshan’s most passionate project Krrish did not make it to the screening at Marrakech Film Festival. However, he is eager that Krrish 3, should. As per HT, Hrithik is reported to have said, “Krrish should have been screened and it will make it here next year”.
