The heartthrob of many, Ranbir Kapoor’s heart throbs for true love. The young star says he treats love as sacred and wants to keep it on the highest pedestal.

Currently, the “Jawaani Deewani” star is reportedly crazy about Katrina Kaif. They worked together in “Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani” and “Raajneeti“.

“If I am in a relationship and if I talk about it and in case my relationship doesn’t work, that puts a lot of pressure on the girl and her reputation. People get very judgemental and our society judges girls a lot,” he added.

“Today’s new generation takes its own decisions. I don’t think I will go for an arranged marriage, but I am not against arranged marriages. Personally, love is very important for me. There are lots of ordinary things in life, so love should be extraordinary. I hope I achieve that,” Ranbir said.

“I don’t get upset about anything. I am an actor and today everybody is a photographer as everyone has a camera. People want to know about you. When I was a child, even I wanted to know about my favourite actor. So they will write about it,” he said.

Even though he recently accepted that Katrina Kaif is special person in his life, he is not ready to admit they are in a relationship. He said, “I am single till I get married. If I am in a relationship and if I talk about it and in case my relationship doesn’t work, that puts a lot of pressure on the girl and her reputation. People get very judgmental and our society judges girls a lot.”

“Yes, I feel bad when everybody is talking about your personal life, but it’s part of my business. As an actor we always want people to write about us and talk about us. And when they are actually writing, then we say don’t write about this. I am an actor, I am a public property. I don’t own myself, public owns me,” he said.

Despite a friendly relationship, widely seen in Bigg Boss season 4, Veena Malik and Ashmit Patel found shooting intimate scene tough. They are roped in together for erotic film Supermodel, where Veena plays central character. She avers that it was difficult doing intimate scenes with Ashmit during the shooting.

Veena and Ashmit were first introduced as contestants on ‘Bigg Boss‘ season 4 and became close on the reality TV show. However, after the show got over, problems surfaced in their relationship.

The duo are now on “good professional terms” and Veena is keen to work with Ashmit again.

“It was very tough to shoot intimate scenes together… I have never been through such trauma. A person you talk to everyday, is so close and then you are not even looking at each other. During the shoot of the movie we weren’t even talking to each other, we had a cold war going on,” said Veena, who made her film debut with Sajjad Gul’s Tere Pyar Mein in 2000.

Lauren adds, “I love Indians and everything about India. I feel it’s a part of my fate to be in the film industry and will put my heart and soul to be a big star. I have received a couple of big offers. Everything I have done till now has been a hit so I want to feel right in my heart and weigh all my options before I take the next step. I’m not fluent in Hindi but I took Hindi classes before ABCD and feel very proud holding my own in the scenes. It was one of the biggest challenges in my life but now that I know the language and culture as I have been in India for almost a year, I am not as awkward as I used to be. It was a big moment for me when Ranbir Kapoor called me foreign ki Lauren.”

She goes on, “I would love to work with Ranbir and Hrithik Roshan. He danced with me on the finale and asked Remo to cast us together in ABCD2. I have seen his work and I feel acting and dancing wise he doesn’t have a co-star who can match up to him. I can match up to him.”

Yesterday Shah Rukh Khan’s Eid release Chennai Express was in the news for the satellite rights of the film, which have been acquired by upcoming channel End Films, owned by Zee group for Rs40 crore. The record for the highest satellite rights of a film belongs to Salman Khan’s Dabangg2 (Rs44 crore).

Meanwhile, Rajkumar Hirani’s P.K., which was earlier rumoured to have a year-end release, might not be completed on time. “Aamir has already completed a long shooting schedule for Dhoom:3 in Chicago. He was supposed to start shooting for P.K. in January, but in all likelihood, the first half of 2013 will be devoted to wrapping up Dhoom:3. As a result, P.K. might not be completed in time for a Christmas release,” says a trade insider.

“Aamir was the only actor from the lead cast who was present at a suburban studio for the final shoot. As Victor was shooting the last scene, the atmosphere got extremely emotional. After it got over, there was a round of applause that didn’t stop for almost 10 minutes. Everyone got extremely teary-eyed,” a source told.

“It’s a good thing that TV is doing really well. I like Salman Khan’s ‘Bigg Boss’, Amitji’s ‘Kaun Banega Crorepati’ (KBC). If given a chance, I would like to do a quiz show like KBC. I would like to explore TV as well,” said Ranbir, who wants to explore small-screen as well.

Although the shooting of the film is yet to complete, it seems the promotion activities have already begun by none other than its lead actress Sherlyn, who recently in an interview revealed about the importance of sex and her favourite love-making position. First, she said about the film, “The film is about the journey of an Indian princess who undergoes mental, emotional, spiritual and sexual transformations while she is in pursuit of her husband. Like the book, the film reiterates the essence of love-making, the lack of which creates an incomparable void in one’s life.”

After giving the detailed information on India’s worldwide known ancient sex manual and the story revolving around it, we wondered if Sherlyn puts the knowledge to use with practicality. So which is her favourite position? “On the top always,” revealed Sherlyn.

Actor Vivek Oberoi, who is basking in the success of “Grand Masti“, is happy that despite being panned by the critics, the adult comedy has been accepted by the audiences. For him, the most cherishing fact is that despite having bold content, men and women equally liked the film.

“As far as the film is concerned, our audiences are our stars. Thekind of response that our audiences have given in terms of houseful shows and whistles, it’s mind blowing,” Vivek told reporters Sunday while interacting with audiences at Gaity Galaxy theatre here.
