Jacqueline Fernandez Completes Her Race 2 Shooting despite of injury

Jacqueline Fernandez is one such hard-working and brave-hearted actress of Bollywood, who work against all odds. Few months back we informed you all that how hard the girl is getting trained to prepare herself for the action sequences in her upcoming film Race 2.

Buzz says that she was required to jump on a trampoline for a shot in the song of Race 2. Unfortunately, when she landed after bouncing on it, she twisted her right ankle. However, Jacqueline was not the one to relent so easily and putting on a brave front, the actress opted to be a thorough professional and completed the day’s shoot.

Later, on visiting her doctor, she learnt that a ligament had torn and required a couple of weeks to recover. But since the movie also features Anil Kapoor, Saif Ali Khan, John Abraham and Deepika Padukone, and coordinating their dates again would jeopardise the schedule, Jackie decided to brave the pain and wrap up the shoot first.

John Abraham is Excited To Produce Satya sequel

Of late, we came up with reports describing about the films John Abraham is backing as a producer. Now it is learnt that the Bollywood hunk has his eyes set on another project. If the buzz going around in tinsel town is any indication, John Abraham could well be producing the sequel of Satya.

A source said that after making a light-hearted and a frothy film like Vicky Donor, the actor-producer wants to try his hand at serious subjects too. “Satya was an intense film about life in Mumbai’s underbelly. Ever since John heard that Ram Gopal Varma has plans to make a sequel to Satya, he has shown a keen interest in producing it. Besides this, there are a few other projects in the offing too. The movies are a mix bag of various subjects. And John is gung-ho to have the best projects under his banner,” said the source.

Besides this, there are a few other projects in the offing too. The movies are a mix bag of various subjects. And John is gung-ho to have the best projects under his banner,” said the source. John’s other three films are supposed to be light as well – his current trifecta consists of a comedy, a bromance, and a love story.

Bollywood’s Raw Action is much Better than Technological Action

After the success of Akshay Kumar‘s Rowdy Rathore everybody has believed that who ever does the action in Silver Screen, no one is better than Khiladi. He is the real Khiladi in B-Town.

Advanced technology can make actors fly in the air, jump down high-rises and do other dazzling, dangerous stunts. But it is the old Bollywood ‘dhishoom, dhishoom’ staple that really sets the viewer’s adrenaline rushing – borne out by the success of “Rowdy Rathore”, another raw action entertainer that has earned over Rs.105 crore.

“Dabangg”, “Singham” and “Agneepath” had their fair share of raw action and all did brisk business, earning Rs.145 crore, Rs.139 crore and Rs.120 crore, respectively.

There are many more films like Salman Khan‘s Wanted and John Abraham‘s Force which also fall under same league of films with tough and strong male leads, who make villains count stars with their kicks and punches. End result? The viewers hooted, clapped, whistled and came back for more.

Clearly, hi-tech entertainers made with mega-budgets like underwater thriller “Blue” and sci-fi “Krrish” and “RA.One” have their place, but the masses, particularly those in the interiors, want raw, rugged action.

Agrees Bollywood’s ‘khiladi’ Akshay Kumar, who returned to action with the Rs.45 crore-worth “Rowdy Rathore” after six years.

“I personally believe that people enjoy raw action more than technology. If you use too much of technology, it will bounce back. People are very smart and understand what is real and what is unreal,” Akshay told

“If you sit in single theatres and watch such films with the audience, you will hear people saying, ‘Arre ye toh computer pe kiya hai (This is done on computer)’. You can’t take your audiences for granted. So when I did my first action film ‘Rowdy Rathore’ after six years, I chose to do raw action. I believe in manpower and not technological power,” he said.

The success of “Rowdy Rathore”, which grossed over Rs.100 crore within two weeks of its release, ratifies his belief.

According to film critic Omar Qureshi, nothing works without a good story.

“Essentially, Bollywood is about songs, dance and drama. In between, our filmmakers were copying straight from Hollywood. They have a different style of filmmaking, which does not really connect with the rawness of our interiors,” Qureshi told

“People go to a theatre to be entertained. Today there are all sorts of action scenes – live action and special effects-created scenes. It’s not true that live action entertains better,” Khan told

“Dabangg 2″, “Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai 2″ and “Shootout At Wadala” are amongst the upcoming films showing plenty of the tried and tested ‘dhishoom’ formula. And the makers are hoping that they will be laughing all the way to the bank.

But above all of them is Salman Khan’s Ek Tha Tiger. The recent trailer of the movie has proved that Salman Khan is back with a bang.

Sajid Khan Is Very Confident For Housefull 2

Director Sajid Khan, whose third directorial venture Housefull 2 is ready to hit the screens, says he is confident the film will be a blockbuster as he makes films by placing himself in the audience’s seat.

“Only a good film will work. If my film is not good then it will not work beyond Monday. But I can say it with a lot of confidence that this film (‘Housefull 2′) is a blockbuster. I am not saying this because this is my film but because I have made this film according to the audience. Every film I make, I make it as an audience,” the 40-year-old said here at a promotional event for “Housefull 2″.

Sajid Khan says it’s the family audiences that make a film a hit. “The day my film does not work, then no matter how many tie ups I do, it will not work at all. It will work when you people go and watch it with your family,” he said. More

John Abraham’s Marriage Advice To Asin

You may accuse us of reading between the lines, but John Abraham’s marital advice to his Housefull 2 co-star Asin calls for some attention.

John and Asin bonded so well while working together on Housefull 2 that John even gave her a marriage advice. Since Asin is a Malayali and used to leave John dumbstruck whenever she rattled on in Malayalam which is as good as Greek to John, the actor advised her to get married to a half-Mallu.

Interestingly, John Abraham himself happens to be a half-Mallu since his dad is a Malayali. Which makes us wonder if John was insinuating at something in his marital advice to Asin. More

John’s Upcoming Film Is Based On Sperm Donation

Actor John Abraham is now focusing on promoting Vicky Donor, his first film as producer. The film speaks about sperm donation, which John said he truly believes in.

“I completely believe in sperm donation. It’s a topic that needs to be addressed, needs to be spoken. There are 50 percent more childless couples so it’s a topic that needs to be spoken,” John said during the first-look launch of “Vicky Donor” at Cinemax.

“I would donate my sperm for a social cause. There are industrialists, police officers, people from army donating sperm because they want to keep their sperm aside because they are not sure whether they will be back from their battle. I would definitely do it,” he said.

An Eros co-production with John’s banner JA Entertainment Production, “Vicky Donor” has been directed by Shoojit Sircar. It stars veejay Ayushyamann Khurrana in his debut role along with Annu Kapoor and Yami Gautam.

“When Shoojit showed me the script, it was very clear the script wanted new faces. His films are brilliant and beautiful. When you see the trailers, you will realise that we have made the best choice by casting them,” he said. More

John Abraham Is Ready With His Production House

He’s one drool-worthy hunk who’s now gearing up on his film venture plans with his JA Productions. John Abraham is all beaming away with Vicky Donor, the premier flick from his production house being helmed by Shoojit Sircar.

Although acting in movies will remain his mainstay, John is all keen on giving a Force-ful thrust to his career in cinebiz by dabbling in production. What’s better, the actor is also eager to helm a film in the future.

The star, however, is clear about the kind of flicks that he’d like to direct in the future. “Films that are mainstream commercial projects and are entertainers is what I’m looking at,” John is quoted to have said.

Apart from the narcissistic business of acting, John also has his heart set on charity, expressly making endeavours for Shiksha, an NGO that helps close to 3 lakh underprivileged children have access to education. More
