The shooting of Sangeeth Sivan’s Yamla Pagla Deewana 2 (YPD 2) has been going on in full swing in U.K. since a couple of months. The film’s cast and crew however got the shock of their lives when the hotel in which they were put up in Leicester caught fire on Wednesday night.

Even though all the cast and crew were immediately evacuated from the hotel, it was quite a traumatic experience for them. They had to wait on the streets for almost a couple of hours late at night braving the cold till the fire fighting team managed to douse the fire. Nevertheless the team still managed to resume shooting the very next day afternoon barely having slept a wink.

Confirming the same, Sangeeth Sivan tweeted, “day53- trial by fire- major fire broke out at d hotel housing our crew at 1am -no 1 was hurt & evn tho many had no sleep, still wrkd frm noon . a big ty to d unit .. so v hv nw overcome cold, fog, & fire.”

YPD 2 slated to release next year re-unites the 3 Deols (Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby) once again after their smash hit YPD.

After working non-stop to complete her films, appearances and brand endorsements, Amisha Patel is all set to go even more steamy, racy and hotter in her next film with Sunny Deol, titled Bhaiyaaji Superhit, directed by Neeraj Pathak.

Amisha Patel will also be seen donning a bikini in the film where she essays the role of a diva.

Regarding all the buzz and speculation that goes around about her Amisha says: “I’d rather focus on my work and let my work speak. Everyone is doing their jobs in life and everyone has a way of going about things their own way. If a small percentage of people say anything, one shouldn’t get affected in life.”

“I’m happy my fans are looking forward to seeing me on screen after a while and that’s what matters to me. As of now the only way I want to move ahead is by focusing on my films and production house. I’m loving my life and it’s a very exciting phase for me. I am looking forward to the things which are lined up for me ahead,” Amisha Patel further said.

After shooting for a condom brand recently, Sunny Leone will now be seen selling mobile phones. A cellular company has signed Sunny as their brand ambassador.

As part of her deal, Leone shot for a television commercial for the brand in Bangkok. “I am very excited to be associated with such a young and vibrant brand like Chaze. I chose to associate with ‘Brand Chaze’ because I am really impressed by Chaze’s ideology of bringing out mobile technology for the masses and personally feel connected with their vision,” the penthouse pet was quoted saying.

“This is my first TVC for any Indian brand and I am very charged up shooting for it. I am confident that the masses would like using the Chaze range of phones as it is very trendy to look at and offers true value for money,” the30-year-old actress further added.

Guess GHAYAL RETURNS may just be relegated to its first teaser that was released around a year ago. Though the announcement was made with quite some fanfare, the film has been on a backburner for quite some time and looks like the status would remain the same for many more months to go. Reason? Sunny Deol has already started working on his BHAIYYAJI SUPERHIT and allotted his dates to the action comedy. Moreover those close to GHAYAL RETURNS also inform that an altogether different script is being written for the sequel since creative differences have plagued the film.

”Sunny wanted the film to be developed in a certain way so that his action image is reinstated all over again. On the other hand people who were earlier working on GHAYAL RETURNS, first Tigmanshu Dhulia and then Ashwini Chaudhary had different ideas. None of them were able to converge though,” informs a source, ”In fact the teaser even declared Ashwini as the eventual director but then even he had to opt out since he and Sunny had a different vision around the film.” More

Director Anil Sharma is all set to announce his next movie with all the three Deols. After working with Sunny Deol in GADAR and then with the Deol trio in APNE, the director has yet again roped in actor Sunny Deol, Bobby Deol and Dharmendra in a film which is supposedly titled as SINGH SAHEB THE GREAT.

According to a reports, Sharma was initially working on a 3D film venture – MASTERS (which was again with the Deols). However, he decided to start with SINGH SAHEB THE GREAT before that.

Writer Shaktiman Talwar, who wrote GADAR  with Sharma, has penned the script of this film as well. Sharma brought Dharmendra, Sunny and Bobby together on screen in his earlier movie APNE. Source

Sunny Deol’s I LOVE NEW YEAR is in talks to be released on Christmas eve. So far so good. The only hitch (and a big one at that) is that Shahrukh Khan’s DON 2 is slated to arrive on the same day i.e. 23rd December. Since there is a back story behind this decision, it makes the clash all the more interesting.

Says he, “There are a few people who have tried to dub me as someone belonging to one flavour of cinema. For them Sunny Deol was all about patriotism and I wonder what is wrong in being patriotic. We should be looking up at this fact rather than looking down.”

The ultimate Sunny Deol is pretty excited and happy that his film, YAMLA PAGLA DEEWANA is ready for release. But there’s something that has been troubling him since a long time now. We’re talking about his back pain. Says Sunny, ‘I’ve had this back problem for so many years. It’s there ever since I had joined the industry. I’ve gone through quite a few surgeries.’

According to Sunny, this problem was accentuated because of his zeal when he was young. He reveals, ‘This is something which was self-created. When you are young, you think you are invincible and you do all stupid things like different action scenes. And at that time the safety element was not that much there.’

The 54-year-old actor further adds, ‘And I used to play a lot of games like squash. But I never used to rest much. That’s what started it and it’s going on since then. Every time I have a problem I have to give up compromise my lifestyle.’

Sunny just has to grin and bear it now. ‘It doing much better. I’m used to pain now. But nobody likes pain because you have to sit in bed for so many days and even months sometimes,’ said the actor before signing off. Source
