The much awaited release of DHOOM 3 has now been shifted to 2013. This has been necessitated because of various production and post-production considerations.

While the shoot begins from end-November 2011, we anticipate a demanding 10 to 11 months of intense shooting with concurrent post-production, which will stretch beyond. This will probably be cutting it too fine for a Christmas 2012 release.

In view of this and keeping the interest of the audience expectations from DHOOM:3, both Aditya Chopra and Vijay Krishna Acharya (Victor) in consultation with Aamir Khan, have decided to delay the release of the film to 2013.

Speaking about this, Victor said, ‘DHOOM:3 is very dear to all of us as well as to its audience who expect only the best from the franchise. While the shooting will finish in time, we expect the post-production to take much longer. We are trying our best to give one of the finest cinematic experiences to our discerning audience and therefore did not want to compromise the quality of the film just to meet the release date.’ More

This is disappointing for all you Uday Chopra fans. He has revealed that he is set to give up his acting career after “Dhoom 3″.

“Ok confession time…Dhoom 3 is my swan song…my last film…no I’m not giving up acting…quite the opposite, acting is giving up on me!” Uday wrote on microblogging site Twitter.

You won’t believe that ex lovers Uday Chopra and Tannisha Mukherjee were spotted having lunch together. For all those who don’t remember, the two were said to be dating post their film Neal n Nikki, which of course flopped at the box office.
Word had it that the duo were even headed towards marriage but for unknown reasons, they split up. Up until last year, they weren’t even talking to each other. An onlooker claimed, “I spotted ex-lovers Uday Chopra and Tanishaa Mukherji bonding over brunch at an Andheri lounge bar. They looked quite cosy together.”

As for their respective careers, well Tannisha’s has pretty much fallen apart with just one Bengali film in her kitty, Mukti. And after Pyaar Impossible, the Chopra’s have pretty much told Uday to reconsider his career as an actor. Most likely, he will be seen in Dhoom 3 when it does come out. Yashraj Films latest upcoming film Pyaar Impossible features Priyanka Chopra along with Uday Chopra. The film is all about how a next door geek woos a glamorous unattainable beauty. But the buzz is that Pyaar Impossible might just be a rip off of Hollywood’s popular Julia Roberts – Hugh Grant starrer Notting Hill.

“It is not true. The only similarity it as that Notting Hill and Pyaar Impossible is that they are about a geek and an unattainable woman. Otherwise there Julia Roberts was a film star and here I am a normal ordinary girl,” says actor Priyanka Chopra.

Well we hope that the makers would be making some changes to the original plot! What’s more the story and screenplay of the film is actually written by Uday Chopra himself. “When I listen to the script of this movie, I realised that this has even happened with me. So I thought that a lot of people will be able to see this movie. This is the reason that I did this film,” says Priyanka. Source

The Dostana magic has worked wonders for John Abraham and he is today busy with 8 projects on hand. But despite that, he has not let air go in his head and forget his old friends. Sources reveal that he is making a friendly appearance in a small but significant part in Uday Chopra’s come back film of sorts, Love Impossible. Uday and John have been friends since the time they did Dhoom together. They both have been biker buddies since both are biking fans. It is learnt that it was Uday who made a call to John and requested him to do the guest role. John apparently plays himself in the film and there are constant references to John Abraham – the star in the film’s script. But it is learnt that John didn’t even care what his role in the film was before saying yes to it. He’s also adjusted his dates with other projects to accommodate Uday’s film, which needs only 4 days of his time.”

Well may be perhaps John Abraham knows that these 4 days may well be his re-entry ticket for Dhoom series with Dhoom 3. Incidentally, Uday backed out of John Abraham starrer Hook Ya Crook as he was more kicked about about his home production. Source
