Everybody is aware that Salman Khan loves to cycle to keep healthy. But what somebody saw on Wednesday night at Mehboob Studios was of specific interest.

Onlookers wondered what would happen if the two crossed paths? But sadly that did not happen and the actress left the venue long after Salman had. But it’s not the first time the two have come close to meeting. Two weeks ago Ash was at Mehboob Studios while Salman too was in the vicinity. However, they never crossed paths. What would happen if they did meet face-to-face?

However, a sight as seen by many on December 12 Wednesday evening at Mehboob Studios came as a surprise. Sources say that Salman was at the studio for Dabangg 2 media interactions while his ex-flame and now the Bachchan bahu, Aishwarya Rai happened to be at the same location for an endorsement shoot. The actor was spotted cycling around Ash’s vanity van for quite a while.

This indeed gave all jitters wondering as to what would happen if the two crossed paths? Luckily that did not happen as Aishwarya left the venue long after Salman had.

Actress Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has appealed to expectant mothers to shed inhibitions regarding HIV/AIDS test so as to prevent their children from being infected by the deadly virus. The 39-year-old actress, who is the UNAIDS International Goodwill Ambassador, said on the sidelines of a function here today that she would tour various parts of the country to educate women on the issue. Aishwarya said pregnant women should shed the fear of HIV/AIDS test.

“Though there is no medicine for curing this disease, its medical treatment is possible,” the actress said. “I will help break social barriers and stigmas that are attached with the disease. I will help raise awareness on issues related to stopping new HIV infections in children and advocate for increased access to anti-retroviral treatment,” she said. Meanwhile, when asked on her future career plans, Aishwarya said right now she is busy looking after her one-year-old daughter Aaradhya.

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai drew thousands of fans in Kochi while she was there to inaugurate a jewellery store.

This was her first public appearance after the delivery of her daughter in November last year.

The former beauty queen was in Kochi Sunday for the launch of the first Kalyan Jewellers store, and several fans had lined up along the roads leading to the store.

Aishwarya, who shot her first post-pregnancy ad for the brand, addressed the fans from atop a special stage, before she went ahead with the formalities of the launch of the store.

The 38-year-old looked traditional in an off-white ensemble by designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla. She inaugurated the store alongside Malayalam star Dileep.

She was accompanied by her mother Vrinda Rai and daughter Aaradhya on the trip.

Megastar Amitabh Bachchan and his family had some anxious moments after an unidentified person broke into their house Jalsa. The 69-year-old actor wrote about the incident in his blog, saying that the person is in the custody of the police, who are now investigating the case.

“Spent some anxious moments yesterday since we had a break in! The guy was caught and is with the police now under investigation. Seems like a professional, for he had entered the most sensitive area of the house, Jalsa,” Amitabh wrote on his blog srbachchan.tumblr.com, Saturday.

Jalsa is the new house where Amitabh and Jaya live with son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya and grand-daughter Aaradhya while younger brother Ajitabh lives in Prateeksha.

However, I must confess, it took time for me to get used to the new routine. This cream chikankari sari and embroidered jacket ensemble left not one inch of skin exposed and, dare way it, made her look a tad bit matronly. In contrast, yesterday’s flowing maxidress also covered her up but flattered Ash’s post baby curves.

This is Ash’s first red carpet appearance after daughter Aaradhya was born in November 2011, and expectations are high, not least because she had a fashion forward previous year in glamorous dresses by Armani and Elie Saab.. Aishwarya Rai is expected to be in Cannes on May 24-25 to attend the L’Oreal Paris – amfAR dinner. Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee, who was rumored to be styling Ash, denies that he is designing Aishwarya’s wardrobe.

Designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee has shot down rumours that he is designing Aishwarya Rai’s wardrobe for the Cannes red carpet. “I don’t know from where this news is coming. I am not styling Aishwarya for Cannes red carpet,” Mukherjee told IANS.

It was reportedly said that the newly turned mom, who received criticisms from some quarters for her post pregnancy weight, will don a creation by Mukherjee during her appearance at the 65th Cannes International Film Festival.

Aishwarya Rai will be in Cannes May 24-25 where she will attend the L’Oreal Paris – amfAR (The American Foundation for AIDS Research) dinner that will help raise funds for the fight against AIDS.

Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai’s baby Aaradhya completed her six months yesterday on May 16. Papa Abhishek is ecstatic, but confesses that he has to wait for Aishwarya’s attention because the new mother is always busy with Baby B.

While talking to a daily recently, Abhishek Bachchan excitedly expressed the joys of being a father, but not without revealing that he has been pushed to the background with Aishwarya giving all the attention to the baby.

Abhishek remembers his initial months with the baby when he used to land up on the sets of his film yawning because of the baby’s sleep routine that kept him awake all night. Then Aishwarya even suggested him to sleep in another room till Aaradhya grows up a bit.

Well, it did take some time for Abhi to get acquainted with the fatherly ways. Now after six months of his baby’s birth, Abhishek can carry Aaradhya all the time, can play with her, and even attempt to change diapers, but he admits that with Aishwarya around he doesn’t have much to do. More

Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan has been named the ideal celebrity mother in Bollywood, according to a survey conducted by Indian matrimonial site, Shaadi.com.

The former Miss World, who is married to Abhishek Bachchan gave birth to a girl in November 2011 and received a total of 54 per cent of the votes, followed by Karisma Kapoor who got 27 per cent votes as the ideal mother.

Other contenders in the same category were Malaika Arora Khan and Lara Dutta.

Meanwhile, 67 per cent of voters regard Angelina Jolie as an ideal mother in Hollywood.

Many who participated in the survey feel that Priyanka Chopra would make an ideal mother, gathering 30 per cent of votes, followed by Kareena Kapoor.

Hema Malini and her daughter, Esha Deol were voted the “Most popular celebrity mother-daughter duo” taking 39 per cent of the votes, followed by Tanuja and Kajol, with 27 per cent votes.

Mr Gourav Rakshit, Business Head of Shaadi.com said the poll was conducted on Mother’s Day to reflect the mindset of people in accepting celebrities as mothers in real life.  Source

Ash and Abhi’s daughter was born on November 16, 2011. Much criticism has been directed at her for failing to shed the “oodles of weight” she gained during her pregnancy.

But some celebrities who have been associated with the 38-year-old Bollywood star, including designer Sabyasachi have rushed to her defence, saying that like any other woman the new mother will take some time to drop the extra kilos.
