Drastically changed Hansika Motwani, who is set to debut in Kollywood with Dhanush’s Maapillai after making her presence felt in both Tollywood and Bollywood, always wanted to play the guitar! So, the rising star recently bought a guitar and also hired a professional guide to teach the basics of the instrument.

“It’s an amazing feeling to make music, I feel so rejuvenated playing the guitar and I can’t wait to learn more. The Internet has been a brilliant information resource for me if I am doing something wrong; if I want to check something new things, I can immediately check it online,” the actress says.

When quizzed about how she suddenly took on this instrument, she quipped: “The song in 3 Idiots inspired me, I just loved the song so much and wanted to learn the guitar to sing the song, ‘Give me some sunshine, Give me some rain.’ This is the first song I want to learn and I will definitely play it someday!” Source

The latest sensation Hansika Motwani, who began acting as a child artiste in Koi Mil Gaya, is a busy actress in Telugu and Hindi. Debuting in Tollywood with super hit Allu Arjun starrer Deshamudra (2007), followed by hit Kantri (2008), the actress is now all set for her debut in Tamil opposite Dhanush with the remake of super star Rajinikanth’s romantic comedy Mappilai.

Mappilai will be directed by Suraj (maker of Dhanush’s superhit Polladhavan). Dhanush, enjoying the best of times at the box office, is currently busy with Jawahar’s Kutty, a remake of the Telugu super hit Arya. His next venture is Vetrimaran’s Aadukalam. After Aadukalam, Dhanush will start the Mappilai remake.

Earlier, Hansika had refused many offers from top Tamil actors due to her hectic schedules. Let’s hope the actress, who has maintained a 100% success record rate in Tollywood, maintains her 100% success record in Kollywood as well. Source

Hansika Motwani – the 17 year old actress is making rapid strides in Tollywood as well as Bollywood. Making her debut in Hindi with the Hrithik Roshan-starrer, ‘Koi Mil Gaya’ (2003), Hansika has entered the big league in no time.

In Telugu, her debut film  ‘Desamuduru’, opposite Allu Arjun, was a big hit. The same was the case with her Bollywood debut (in the lead), ‘Aap Ka Suroor’, opposite Himesh Reshammiya.

Hansika celebrated her 17th birthday last month and on this occasion she has taken up the responsibility of the education and general welfare of 15 orphaned children. In an attempt to attain the famous size zero, Hansika has undergone a rigorous diet to lose her baby fat. Money Hai Toh Honey Hai, her Hindi movie in production requires a slim, svelte heroine, so this could be a reason for Hansika to lose weight.

It seems that jealousy is in the air of bollywood as a fashion these days. One-film old Hansikaa Motwani is not so secure about her co-star Celina Jaitley on the sets of Money Hai Toh Honey Hai. Hansika’s mother Mona was also present on the shoot to accompany daughter but the mother-daughter duo were particularly anxious about the costumes worn by Celina in the film.

Our source reveals, “Hansikaa wore decent clothes and was awed by Celina’s bindaas behaviour on the sets. Once Celina joined the shoot, Hansikaa’s mother Mona started feeling insecure about her. And that is why she caught hold of the film’s stylist Rohit Chaturvedi and demanded to have a peek at Celina’s costumes before they were sent to her.”

This went on for quite long and even the other cast and crew got to know about it. Someone even informed Celina about this, but she laughed it off. But she did ask the stylist to stop showing her costumes to Hansikaa and her mother.”

Celina remained unavailable for comment as she is shooting in Thailand for Golmaal Returns. Meanwhile, Hansikaa says, “These are baseless rumours, I don’t see any truth in this.Celina and my characters are different. Why do I need to check her costumes?”. But hey Hansika Baby you got to polish yourself much more to survive here. This is called Bollywood.

Buzz had it that actress Hansika Motwani aka Rheaa of Aap Kaa Surroor had taken steroids and supplements to look older not only to match with Himesh Reshammiya but also bag the lead in other films as an actress.

Manzoor Khan, her makeup artiste in the film, however denies the story saying that Hansika and he had worked together on her looks.  “I am responsible for the mature look that Hansika has in the film,” he says. He adds, “It was the magic of my brush and the makeup technique that helped Hansika look older than her actual age.”

Manzoor says that he had worked out several alternatives for Hansika. “I realised that with straight hair Hansika looked much younger and thus gave her curls so that she would look older. Usually I use minimum makeup on my artiste but with Hansika it was the other way round. I deliberately chose to do heavy make-up over her face especially around the eyes and the lips so as to make her look like a lady in her twenties.”

This is the most shocking disclosure about Himesh’s upcoming film Aap Ka Surroor. The lead actress opposite Himesh in the film is none other than child artiste Hansika Motwani. Hansika is the same girl who was seen in the film Jaago starring Raveena Tandon. She was also child artiste in films like Hum Kaun Hai, Hawa and Escape From Taliban. She was also seen in the famous television soap, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. However, her most notable film is Hrithik Roshan starrer Koi Mil Gaya in which Hansika played one of the kids from the super-six group. Her last film as a child artiste was Dheeraj Kumar’s Aabra Ka Daabra which came out in December 2004.

Within a span of just two years, Hansika made her comeback in films but as a lead actress. Early this year, she made her debut in a Telugu film Desamuduru. And now, Hansika will soon make her Bollywood debut with Himesh Reshammiya in Aap Ka Surroor. She is however publicized as a debutant actress named Ria. Now, why would they try to hide her identity? In fact, even in the publicity stills of the film, all the pictures having Hansika are kept to minimum resolution, which makes it difficult to recognize her. Its quite shocking though that within less than three years, Hansika’s looks became so mature. Interestingly, Hansika was to make her debut opposite Mithun Chakravarthy’s son Mimoh in He – The Only One but the film was 60 percent shot and then got stuck. 

So, now you will see, Hansika Motwani, the cute looking child artiste of one time, playing the lead actress opposite Himesh!! The weird part however is that Hansika is just 15 year old and Himesh is??well, we better keep our mouth shut. Hope the two click onscreen though as Aap Ka Surroor will be a crucial film for Ria aka Hansika and will also decide if Himesh should face the camera or continue with his work in the recording studio.
