Shraddha Kapoor was reportedly the first choice for Yash Raj Film’s Aurangzeb but she refused to do the role without a second thought! So vivid are the love-making scenes in Yash Raj Films’ Aurangzeb that Shraddha Kapoor who was the Yash Raj heroine for their production Luv Ka The End refused the role.Says a well-placed source, “Shraddha was the first choice for the lead opposite Arjun Kapoor.
No one at Yash Raj thought she’d say no to a lead role in a big Yash Raj production with one of the hottest newcomers as her co-star. But when Shraddha heard about the graphic nudity and intimacy, she simply opted out without a second thought and preferred to focus on Aashiqui 2 which is now her first big hit.”Apparently, like the other star-daughter Sonakshi Sinha, Shraddha is very clear about here dos and don’ts on screen.
The explicit love scenes of Aurangzeb were a complete no-no to her family values.

Shaukeen, the 1980 Basu Chatterjee comic film about three old men lusting after a girl next-door, is all set to be remade by Rumi Jaffery. Akshay Kumar has been roped in to reprise Mithun Chakraborty’s role from the original in the remake of Basu Chatterjee’s comedy,Annu Kapoor, Paresh Rawal and Anupam Kher have been cast as the three lecherous old men.Interestingly, this will be the first time that Akshay will be seen romancing Nargis Fakhri.
Though in the original, Mithun’s part was a small role, the remake will apparently change the part to fit in Akshay. Further reports suggest that Akshay has not charged his usual fee for this film as it is not a full length role, but he will have a stake in the film. “More than anything else, Akshay has given his nod for the remake because he is happy with the way his character has been etched out by Rumi. He will shoot for the film mid-2013,” says an industry insider, adding, “The makers were also very keen to cast a completely new pair in the film. So Nargis fit the bill.”
Although it’s a remake of Chatterjee’s comedy, Rumi is believed to have rewritten it to suit today’s times. In fact, the film’s will now be based in Thailand instead of Goa. “So you will see three old men trying to woo Nargis on beautiful Thai beaches. The film won’t remind you of the old Shaukeen in terms of setting and treatment,” adds the insider.

After that extremely aesthetic pertinent and stunning gay kiss between Randeep Hooda and Saqib Saleem last week in Viacom 18′s Bombay Talkies, we have a lesbian kiss coming up in this week in Go Goa Gone.Bollywood cinema is truly coming of age. And it seems the Censor Board Of Film Certification is determined not to trail behind any longer.
Miraculously, the CBFC has allowed this unorthodox kiss too to pass by.Says a source, “The gay kiss in Karan Johar’s story of Bombay Talkies was absolutely essential. But, in Go Goa Gone, the lesbian kiss forms no part of the central theme. The film’s co-directors Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. were pleasantly surprised by the censors liberal attitude. They expected the kiss to go. Nidimoru confirmed that ” Of course we got an ‘Adults Only’ certificate. It was always meant to be an Adults zombie comedy.”

Stand-up comedian Vir Das excels the art of making audience laugh. Showcasing a act in front of the Live audience and leaving them in splits, is something the Delhi Belly holds a knack.
The film is produced by Saif Ali Khan’s Illuminati Films and stars Kunal Khemu, Vir Das, Anand Tiwari, Puja Gupta, and Khan as the wacky Russian, Boris. We caught up with Raj, who took the time out from editing, and promotions to chat about his and Dk’s creative process, the zombie genre, and the music.
“We know there are a lot of people in our country who haven’t seen such (zombie) films. What are zombies? How do they become a zombie? And what should be done with them? Answers to all these questions are being given in the film,” the 29-year-old said in an interview.
“The story has been told in a simple manner… So if you haven’t seen a zombie film before, or you don’t know what a zombie is, you can still watch it. Even our characters in the film don’t know what are zombies and what is happening with them,” he added.
Admitting that the subject of Go Goa Gone is a risky one, Vir even added that if it turns a success Bollywood will have access to zombie films. He explained the same fact saying, “When I came to India, there was no audience for stand-up comedians. Still, I managed to create some market for that. Now same holds good for a zomcom like Go Goa Gone. There are inside jokes but the laughter is entirely script based. Yes, we come across zombies. Yes, we don’t know how to tackle them. But then at every point in the film, we and audience are on the same level. We are laughing even as we are being either chased by the zombies or are chasing them back!”

Akshay Kumar supports Special Olympics Bharat and he has approached Salman Khan and Shahrukh Khan to come forward and wholeheartedly support the project. Akki is approaching all the Bollywood bigwigs to join hands and support child disability.
This time though the fight has shifted to the Eid release date and SRK will have a face off with Akshay Kumar – it will be Shahrukh-Deepika Padukone’s romantic comedy Chennai Express versus the Akshay Kumar-Imran Khan-Sonakshi Sinha starrer Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai Again. While SRK’s movie is a masala love story, Akshay’s is a sequel and an action drama.
But not getting into clashes right now, the two has some good news for all fans. Recently Akshay paid visit to Shahrukh twice to talk about a movie in which both of them could play the lead actors. A source said, “Akshay and Shah Rukh will deny this now, but both were trying to figure out if a movie can be made with the two of them in the lead.”
While Shahrukh and Rohit have a clear statistical advantage over Akshay at the moment, we wonder who the audience will give their thumbs up to this time around.

Kangana Ranaut, who plays Mumbai gang-lord Manya Surve’s love interest in Shootout At Wadala (SAW), seems to be the all-time-favourite moll of gangster films.
Right from her film Gangster (2006), one has seen the pretty lady playing a gangster’s moll in many of the underworld films made in between. It’s not that she hasn’t played other characters but it’s the role as a gangster’s moll that has always helped her in bagging the brownie points.
“Kangana is the tender soul of a very dangerous and violent world depicted in SAW. And it’s amazing how she has portrayed the character of Vidya minus any star trappings. She completely surrendered to the role and made it all her own,” Gupta said in a statement.
Trade analyst Taran Adarsh too praised Kangana saying: “Kangana delivers a wonderful performance (especially towards the final moments) and stands her own despite the presence of actors with challenging characters.”
Kangana, who seems to be unaffected by the success said, “I’m an actor. I get assignments, I do my work and I stay totally detached from my movies. It’s good if a film does well but that’s not going to change my attitude or commitment to my work.”
Meanwhile, she is next to be seen playing a gangster in Revolver Rani, a mujrawali in Rajjo, and a suburban Delhi woman who sets out on a honeymoon all by herself in Queen.
