Actress Jiah Khan is considering changing her name back to the original one, Nafisa.

The British-born Indian actress took to microblogging site Twitter to reveal her plans and wrote: “Thinking of changing my name back to my original name Nafisa…what do you guys think? Needs some more opinions.”

The 23-year-old made her Bollywood debut with megastar Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd in 2007 and has starred in films such as Housefull and Ghajini. Source

Furthermore, the trio of beauties will all… get set to drool now… show up onscreen in bikinis. Sajid Nadiadwala’s flick has also aided in cementing the bond between the actresses. “Lara and I are both from Bangalore, and so there was camaraderie from day one,” reveals Deepika in a tabloid inter phew.

“We come from similar backgrounds,” states Lara in a media chat, “Like me, Deepika too was a model in Bangalore, so that was the common factor.” Jiah, they aver, is the baby, and the duo are usually busy mollycoddling the saucy Khan.

The bold actress of ‘Nishabd’ Jiah Khan’s filmy career might have come to a standstill but she manages to remain in the news for her affairs. The actress is rumored to be dating producer Bunty Walia’s younger brother, Jaspreet.

They met four months ago through a common friend and took no time to stick with each other. A source says, “Jiah and Jaspreet are madly in love. They tend to fight a lot too. It’s quite a passionate relationship.” “So what if UTV is not doing any more films with Jiah after she was chucked out from their film Chance Pe Dance? Jiah is not in a hurry to sign more films. Right now, she is enjoying her time with Jaspreet. She is reading a few scripts as well,” says a friend of Jiah.

There’s so much speculation about Jiah Khan’s ouster from Ken Ghosh’s Yahoo that a new reason that our source has revealed amuses us. According to our source, it is Shahid’s growing manliness that resulted in Jiah being ousted and Genelia D’Souza stepping in. And before you get us wrong, Shahid now insists that in all his films, he must play a man, and not the boy-next-door he’s been all this while.

Our source says, “Yahoo was originally about Shahid playing a struggling dancer and a bunch of kids supporting him. The focus was on Shahid’s interaction with the kids. But later they realised that it wasn’t Shahid’s cup of tea to work with children. His film Vah! Life Ho Toh Aisi (2005) flopped terribly at the box-office and his next, Ahmed Khan’s Paathshala also involves some child actors.”  Full News

After being let go from UTV Motion Pictures’ Yahoo, sizzling actress Jiah Khan has been axed from yet another project. The starlet was recently dropped from Owais Husain’s directorial debut. Initially, Jiah had been approached for the lead part and she had signed on, but when the movie started its shoot the lead actress turned out to be Sonal Chauhan!

Owais, who is the son of the legendary artist M.F. Husain, recently shot a 3-week first schedule in Chandigarh and news is that the director had second thoughts about Ghajini actress Jiah. But when questioned about the change in actresses, Owais maintained that the project, which has Punjab as its backdrop, had different requirements than what was initially expected. In fact, he’s also a little miffed about people referring to the project as Punjab 69. Jannat’s Sonal denied that she was second choice for the film. Source

The girl who starred opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd, Jiah Khan has inked a deal with UTV for two of their upcoming films. UTV which has always believed in nurturing talent has complete confidence on Jiah Khan and her potential.

UTV Motion Pictures also clarified on industry rumors about Jiah Khan being dropped from Ken Gosh’s next film with UTV. Nupur Asthana (Screen play) & Kiran Kotriyal (Dialogue writer) who were earlier working on the story, were joined by Manurishi Chadda, the filmfare winner dialogue of Oye Lucky Lucky Oye. After coupling with Manurishi there were certain creative changes that were made in the film script, further to which Jiah Khan and UTV mutually agreed that the role scripted did not befit Jiah. 

“With the changes they made on the script and the character, I myself felt that I do not suit the character. However, my relationship with UTV remains the same and they have signed me for two of their future films to be started later this year” Jiah Khan. Source

Well it seems like Aamir is not the only one to be miffed with Jiah, after all. A little birdie tells me that director Ken Ghosh was so angry with Jiah during the making of his latest that he promptly showed her the door!

Apparently Jiah and Ken Ghosh were beginning to get rather friendly on the sets of this film Yahoo that Ken is directing. The two had shot together about 60 per cent of the film when things began to sour.

Jiah, I am told, began to take her ‘friendship’ with Ken for granted. So she’d turn up late for the shoot, throw a tantrum if she didn’t want to do something, demand changes in her dialogues and what not. Full News

After pairing with none other than the Bollywood cine icon Amitabh Bachchan in her debut film Nishabd, Jiah is working with Aamir in the upcoming thriller Ghajini . “Aamir told my mother that if I was a part of ‘Ghajini’ it was because of my own achievement and talent. It was the best compliment I have received, that too from the best actor of the country – Aamir Khan. What more could I ask for,” Jiah is quoted as saying.

Recalling the moment when she was selected for the role, Jiah says she was in total disbelief when she learnt she had bagged the role in ‘Ghajini’. When Aamir and the director told me I was in, I couldn’t believe it! I was in tears and overwhelmed,” said the actress. Source

Nishabd actress Jiah Khan was desperately in a big trouble or a tension we may say. Her problem came to an end after her search of a home in Mumbai ended by the help of none other than apna Aamir Khan. He is also the co star of the former actor in the upcoming movie Ghajini.

Reveals Jiah, “Aamir helped me to find a new house in the Mumbai suburbs. Earlier, I used to live in a flat on the sixth floor. My mother came down to live with me four months ago. Since there is no lift in my building and my mother is aged, she was finding it very difficult to move out of the house. I was tense at my mother’s condition and would carry this stress on the film sets. Aamir realised my condition and introduced me to an estate agent, who helped me find an appropriate house. I’m grateful to Aamir for solving my problem.”

Praising Aamir further, she says, “He is a great man. As a child I used to watch all his films and I had always dreamt of working with him. During the shoot, he is quite relaxed and more importantly very dedicated to his work. He used to come on the sets at sharp 9 am. For this film, I have learnt Hindi dialect and Aamir has helped me immensely with it. He is such a brilliant human being.”

Talking about the film, Jiah spoke about the stunts she did for the film. The Nishabd girl says, “I can’t give you details here but all I can say is Aamir helped me a lot. This was the first time that I was doing stunts so I was really nervous but he gave me the moral support and was very patient.” So Aamir is Good or bad ? Controversial one ! Source

Says Jiah, “Working with Mr. Bachchan in my debut film has spoilt me. I would like to work with the best.”
