Enjoy The Hillarious Comedy & Spice In Double Dhamaal

One can’t deny the fact that there are a lot of expectations from DOUBLE DHAMAAL due to it being a franchise. While it is certainly expected that all four principal protagonists (Riteish, Arshad, Javed, Ashish) coordinate well to make the scene look seamless, audience is also looking forward to the film giving ‘double the entertainment’.

“I think now all four of us are pretty much in synch in each other,” says Riteish, “We all have started thinking alike. I don’t think now we would look like four actors just doing our job. We behave pretty much alike and are more like one actor in four different bodies.” More

Kangna Ranaut Is Fighting For Her Dates

Kangna Ranaut seems to be caught in the clash of producers, Ratan Jain (Tez) and Bhushan Kumar (I Love NY), over dates.

According to a source, the actress, who is currently shooting for Radhika Rao and Vinay Sapru’s I Love NY (earlier titled Happy New Year), was urgently required for a day on the sets of Tez in UK.

Jain requested Kumar to give a day out of her current schedule, but he didn’t oblige. As a result the Tez unit will have no choice but to shoot without their lead actress,” the source informs.

BK confirms, “We are shooting with both Sunny Deol and Kangna till June 20. Jain required Ranaut for a day. We tried our level best but we couldn’t match our combination dates. More

Is Something Cooking Between Kangna & Salman?

Off late the striking actress, Kangna Ranaut seems to be enjoying all the attention being given to her by none other than the Khan family. If news is to be believed then the equation between superstar Salman Khan and Kangna Ranaut has been very good and Kangna is seen at the Khan residence in Bandra most of the time.

Kangna Ranaut had freshly given a guest appearance in Salman Khan’s upcoming film ‘Ready’. Salman Khan’s family has been very closely associated with Kangna Ranaut and takes her as a very extraordinary friend of the family.

It is even whispered that the closeness between Salman and Kangna has increased so much that they not love spending time with each other but are even planning to do a movie together. However, Kangna’s bond with the family as well as Salman started going strong when the actress was invited for Salman’s younger sister Arpita’s birthday party. More

Kangna Ranaut’s Resemblance To Madhubala

While rumours had been making rounds about Katrina Kaif playing the evergreen, classic beauty Madhubala, this hot buzz comes out from the blue. Grapevines have it that Kangana Ranaut has been considered to play Madhubala in Anurag Basu’s biographical film on Kishore Kumar.

Sometime ago Kangana had lashed out at Basu in media as she was unhappy with her minuscule role in ‘Kites’. Both were upset with each other; however now it seems the creases are evened.

Incidentally, it was Basu who had introduced Kangana to the big screens with his film ‘Gangster’.

While Katrina seemed to have been better option to play Madhubala, we are doubtful about Kangana…. What say, folks? Source

Kangna Ranaut Is Pissed Off

Kangna Ranaut is truly irked with the mischief creators buzzing the mediavine. Reportedly, the actress is hopping mad with all the stories doing the rounds as regards her allegedly rotten behaviour. The actress and her PR have been steadily carping to the scribe tribe that a certain clutch of people from the industry are constantly slandering Kangna.

In fact, Kangna’s PR executive has taken matters a step forward and has threatened legal action against periodicals that delight in supporting negative buzz over Ranaut.

Earlier, Kangy told an eager media that she shared “terrific chemistry, both on and off screen” with a topline hero, who’s now ready to burst a blood vessel the instant her name is mentioned. That apart, there is talk that Kangna allegedly ill treated a staffer of hers and her attitude on the sets of a recent TV dance reality show did little to buoy her dwindling image.

A close source states that KG behaved “strangely” and that she dozed off to Slumberland backstage and later, refused to reel off her bytes to a comment hungry media. Most journos feel that rather than threatening the media… it would be better if Kangy checked her errant behaviour too. Source

Kangna Ranaut’s Breast Tattoo In ‘Tanu Weds Manu’

The vivacious actress Kangna Ranaut is still single and ready to mingle! We are only talking about a temporary tattoo for the actress’ latest film Tanu Weds Manu. In the required scene, the actress pulls down her kurta to display tattooed name of her boyfriend on the upper part of her breast, reports our source.

The tattoo is done in henna, and the actress had to get it done over and over again till the scene was completely shot.

A source told, “Initially, Kangna was amused at the scene but had no qualms in doing it. She had to perform this shot to avoid getting married to her co-star in the film. Her parents want her to go for an arranged marriage in the film and she tries all ways possible to scandalise Madhavan.”
Well Kangna, hope the Censor Board takes the scene in the spirit! Source

Kangna Ranaut Visits Tirupati Balaji Temple For Her Upcoming Film

Tirupati Balaji temple is indeed lucky for the bollywood stars. Kangna Ranaut was a rare exception to that rule (to her defense, she has been meaning to visit for six years now)… until last week. She was there to seek blessings for her next, Tanu Weds Manu.

She says, “I went to Tirupati last week with my brother and sister, for the first time since coming to Mumbai. We go to Vaishno Devi more often.

But when I came to Mumbai, people kept telling me to visit the Tirupati Balaji temple. I wanted to, for many years now, but work commitments kept coming in the way.

I was determined to go this time around. The trip was hectic and stressful but worth it. I loved my experience there. He (Balaji) is so powerful.”

Kangs was keen on divine intervention for her film Tanu Weds Manu. “It’s a film that is very special to me.

I had a close brush with death and almost lost my leg while shooting for the film so I have literally given my blood, sweat and tears for it. It’s a film that’s like my special child. More

Kangna Ranaut Refuses To Play A Role In Krrish 2

The sexy actress Kangna Ranaut believes in the saying, “Once bitten twice shy.” And for this reason, she has said a big-fat no to playing a pivotal part of Krrish 2. The lead female role will still be played by Priyanka Chopra and thus, Kangna would simply play a supporting, but essential, role. However, after what the Roshans did to Kangna in Kites, she simply isn’t willing to take any risks and thus, has opted not to be a part of the sequel.

In fact, both Rakesh and Hrithik spoke at length to Kangna and insisted she reconsider as they thought she would do complete justice to the role. Sources claim the role was written keeping Kangna in mind but she refused to budge. She simply will not play “second fiddle” to an actress.

The actress is keen on doing more roles that are beyond being glamorous especially since her last few films have done nothing for her. She will be seen next in Tanu Weds Manu, Rascals, Game and Dhamaal 2. For this reason and more, she feels she does not need to be seen in supporting roles anymore.

Another reason for declining the role is because post Fashion, she has been offered far too many supporting roles while Priyanka Chopra has clearly gone on to bigger and better films.

Rakesh Roshan went on to deny any association of Krrish 2 with Kangna Ranaut. “Kangna wasn’t offered a role. Only Priyanka [Chopra] is final,” he stated. Source

Salman & Kangana’s Unique Relationship

Superstars Salman Khan and Kangna Ranaut seem to share a love-hate relationship. Early in 2010, it was widely reported that Kangana was the new favourite girl of Salman, as she was spotted at various parties and dos of the Khan clan.

There were rumours about the growing closeness between the two. They were reportedly also doing a movie together, the remake of MI SHIVAJI RAJE BHONSLE BOLTOY. Apparently, Salman had suggested Kangana’s name to the director.

However, in typical Salman style Kangana was suddenly out of favour, when it came to Salman. The movie was shelved and she was no longer invited for the family parties.

Just when, the whole Kangana-Salman chapter seemed to be put to rest, here comes another piece of news. When Kangana’s film, TANU WEDS MANU was up for promotion, Salman readily agreed to get Madhavan and Kangana, the lead pair of TANU WEDS MANU on the finale episode of Bigg Boss.

Insider sources claim, that were many big films, that were lining up to promote their films on the finale of Bigg Boss but Salman chose TANU WEDS MANU to appear on the finale. More

Kangana Forces Her Director To Change The Title

Tanu Weds Manu, which will see the fresh pairing of Kangana Ranaut and R. Madhavan, was initially titled Manu Weds Tanu but the name was changed at the lead actress’ behest.

Director Anand Rai felt Manu Weds Tanu was an appropriate title, but Kangana who plays Tanu in the film, insisted that the title should be Tanu Weds Manu and not Manu Weds Tanu because the narrative unfolds from Tanu’s point of view, said a source.

The director was taken aback, but Kangana explained her point saying Tanu, a small town, wild girl, is the one in the commanding position compared to Madhavan’s character Manu who is shown as a simple NRI guy in the comedy. When the director spoke to Madhavan, thinking he would get upset, the actor saw the point immediately and readily agreed with Kangana.

“It’s true that the film was earlier titled Manu Weds Tanu. However, we felt that Tanu Weds Manu was a more suitable title, according to the demands of the script. So we decided to go with ‘Tanu Weds Manu’,” said Rai. The film will release Feb 25. Source

The Year 2010 Was Excellent For The K-Actresses

It can be called a co-incidence of sorts that most of the films that have done well at the ticket window this year star heroines whose names start with the initial K.

Starting with the most experienced Kajol who started the year on a high with the hit MY NAME IS KHAN, where she was paired with her favourite co-star Shah Rukh Khan. She did disappoint a bit with her second and third release, WE ARE FAMILY and TOONPUR KA SUPERRHERO, but her super sensitive act as Mandira in MNIK saved the day for Kajol and her fans.

Then comes the most successful and certainly the numero-uno heroine of Bollywood, Katrina Kaif, who has a super hit in form of RAAJNEETI and her latest release TEES MAAR KHAN too has embarked upon a historic start netting almost 40 crore during the first weekend itself, second only to the biggest DABANGG.

If Katrina is there can Kareena be left far behind? Well, not at all. Kareena Kapoor may have had a bad year with her moth ridden MILENGE MILENGE and WE ARE FAMILY failing at the turnstile but she did recover with the blockbuster GOLMAAL 3 thus ending the year on a high note. More

Kangna Ranaut’s Useful Tips For Aspiring Actors

Kangna Ranaut, these days advises all the youngsters and newcomers to treat showbiz like any other profession and says that they should first prepare themselves by learning acting. Citing her own example Kangna disclosed that she too learnt acting first did theater and then came to Mumbai to try her luck.

Kangna accepts that being a star son/daughter/relative does help, but she also justified it by saying that this happens in other professions as well, and one has to have the talent, and hard work and luck are other factors that come into play later on.

Kangna also encouraged newcomers from small towns and cities saying that it does not matter where one belongs to and all that matters is hard work, passion and hunger to learn so that one can get over whatever shortcomings they have.

Well, that is quite a sound advice from a hit Kangna, and we are sure that it would prove beneficial for all newcomers. Source
