Kareena Kapoor certainly tops the wish list of every Bollywood director. Interestingly, while film makers are waiting for her to come on board, Bebo is heard to be sitting idle even after blocking her calendar with upcoming projects.

Bebo had finalized dates for Prakash Jha’s movie Satyagraha with Ajay Devgn, which was to go on floor this January. However, zoOm found out that since Ajay Devgn is currently filming for Himmatwala, which got delayed because of the controversy surrounding Son of Sardar, Satyagraha will get deferred. This means Bebo’s dates are definitely being wasted!

Recently, Bebo had to let go of Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Ram Leela even though she had allocated dates for the same. In the past, Kareena has been forced to pass on a few films including Karan Johar’s, as her calendar was overbooked. We just hope this temporary phase in her life doesn’t leave her waiting on one foot for long.

The unprecedented promotional blitzkrieg that Bollywood actor Ajay Devgn undertook during the release of ‘Son Of Sardaar’ in November 2012, has claimed its first casualty. One learns that Prakash Jha’s ambitious political thriller ‘Satyagrah’ which is to feature Ajay as an anti-corruption activist-politician, has now been moved forward by almost a month, from January to February 2013, apparently to accommodate the last shooting spell of Sajid Khan’s ‘Himmatwala’.

That is about to change. For the first time in her career, Kareena Kapoor would be following an elaborate preparation plan for Prakash Jha’s “Satyagraha”.

Now with Himmatwala schedule getting delayed Ajay Devgn has no choice but to complete the earlier film before plunging into Satyagrah, even if that means a delay in starting Prakash’s film. And the person bearing the brunt of Ajay’s absence happens to be style diva Kareena Kapoor. A lot of her dates, which she had secured for Satyagrah, have now gone in vain. Even Amitabh Bachchan is on the same boat.

Says a source close to the project, “Kareena would have to become thoroughly familiar with present day political affairs. And that doesn’t mean just newspaper headlines. Prakash wants her to become sensitized to India’s contemporary politics. Her character is a fiercely militant investigative journalist. For her to look credible Parkash feels the words about present day politics and politicians should not come from the script. They should flow naturally from the actress’ sensitivities as an Indian.”

Last year, we witnessed an amazing stage performance by Ranbir Kapoor, matching his steps with father, veteran actor Rishi Kapoor. That electrifying performance won the Kapoor family so many accolades that this year they are planning an encore.

Ranbir will be seen performing on Screen Awards. The actor will be accompanied by his mother Neetu Singh.

In the past, Ranbir has performed with Rishi Kapoor and now Neetu Singh. When asked if the audiences will get him to dance with diva and his cousin sister Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranbir promptly says, “I had asked her to perform in this award function but she is traveling. I would love to perform with her but we can’t perform a romantic number as she is my sister and that would look odd. So, I would want to perform with her on a rakhi song.”

He also shares that he wants his cousin sister Kareena Kapoor Khan to shake leg and make the family performance complete. “I will try to get my other family members to perform with me too. I was trying to get Kareena to perform with me this time. It will be lovely to perform with her. But of course, it will be odd to perform romantic songs with her.”

Ranbir and Neetu will perform together at the Colors Screen Awards, to be held in Mumbai on January 12. Ranbir revealed at a press conference for the same, that his mother is nervous about their performance. “I will be performing with my mother for the first time. She is nervous for the performance. The rehearsals have not started at the moment, but will start today.”

Entire nation is in deep shock over the heinous gang rape that took place in Delhi few days back; even Bollywood celebrities aren’t untouched with this. Speaking on the brutal gang rape of a 23-year-old student in Delhi, actress Kareena Kapoor today called for reassessment of the existing laws in the country for speedy justice.

”Whatever happened, it really should not have happened. In our country, we always take safety measures after any shocking incident happens. I definitely would like to say that getting justice in the country is really time taking. Our laws should be reassessed. Justice has to happen faster,” she said.

“I read today that there are 40 impending cases of rape, where victims are still awaiting justice. By saying that a woman should not go out at night should not be a solution to this problem. Being a modern woman, I don’t support such statements. And being a modern woman, I like to party late.

A source informed that actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was flooded with offers to dance to her latest item number ‘Fevicol Se’ at a few wedding functions. Reportedly, she was offered Rs 8 crores for these acts, but she “does not want to do anything that could even remotely harm the reputation of her family.”

And the lady is also thrilled about having hit dance numbers from her films to perform on. Right from Heroine’s Halkat Jawani to Dabangg’s Fevicol number, Kareena states that it is nice to have such fun tracks to dance on. She is set to perform on both these numbers as well as on her song from Talaash at an awards event slated to happen today.

Sources say, “Her specially designed acts will see her enter the crowd through a unique stage contraption that will bring her within arm’s reach of the audience. Kareena is very excited about her acts, as she really enjoys dancing. Besides, she has hit dance numbers in almost every film she has done, so it will be a medley of her recent songs”.

Kareena Kapoor definitely is the lady playing with money and her fame has no bounds. Recently, the Chhattisgarh government admitted that it paid a whopping sum of Rs 1.40 crore to Bebo for her performance last month at the state’s anniversary function.

In a written reply to Congress member Mohammed Akbar in the state assembly, public works department minister Brijmohan Agrawal, who holds the tourism and culture portfolios as well, said that 245 artistes performed during the weeklong (November 1-7) state foundation anniversary — Rajyotsava 2012 — celebrations held in various districts and the government paid over Rs 5 crore to them.

The total expenditure as honorarium to 245 artistes, that included 42 artistes from outside the state, during Rajyotsava 2012 was Rs 5,21,22,500, the minister said. He also listed details of per person honorarium paid out by the government, with Kareena Kapoor topping the list at Rs. 1,40,71,000.

Bollywood’s top actress Kareena Kapoor says that she is a favourite of all top Khans’ of Bollywood. Yes, Kareena believes that all khan likes her a lot. “I have worked with all the Khans and I am favourite of them,’’ said Kareena when she visited TV reality show Bigg Boss to promote her new item number from upcoming movie Dabangg 2.

When Kareena came on the satge and the host of the Salman Khan introduced her as a Kareena Kapoor, the actress objected and said “I am Kareena Kapoor Khan.” So when instantly Salman asked her why she has changed her name, actress replied, “I am favourite of all khans, I have worked with all Khans and now my husband is also khan (Saif Ali Khan) so I have decided to change my name.

At the premiere of Talaash on Thursday at PVR Juhu, Kareena Kapoor was conspicuous by her absence, though the entire cast and crew was present including Aamir Khan and Rani Mukherji.

Talaash was Begum Kareena’s first film post marriage, and the film did get her a lot of praise for her performance in the movie. But, this is not it. The question is while the entire team of Talaash was present at the premiere of the film, Kareena gave it a miss. And her conspicuous absence created a buzz.

A source says that recently Kareena Kapoor had to give Talaash premiere a miss, because of her word to Sallu. At the premiere of Aamir Khan’s latest release, Bollywood bigwigs were in full attendance to wish the very best to the film’s cast and crew. However, to everyone’s surprise, one of the two leading ladies of the film – Bebo – was missing from the scene.

Reports say that Kareena took the evening off to be able to spend time on the sets of Salman Khan’s reality show Bigg Boss 6, where she had gone to promote her upcoming item number (Fevicol Se) from the star’s Dabangg 2. So it was left to Aamir and his other co-star Rani Mukherji to welcome guests at the show. A source says, “It’s like Kareena chose Salman’s film over her own. She had promised Salman that she would be present for his show. She kept her promise.”

Kareena Kapoor indeed had loads of expectations from her item song Halkat Jawaani (Heroine) and wanted to beat Katrina Kaif’s Chikni Chameli with it, but the song failed to garner much appreciations and Bebo was left disappointed.

Designed by her trusted Manish Malhotra, Kareena’s costume in the item track is learnt to be inspired from elder sister Karisma Kapoor’s attire in her famous track ‘Sarkaiye Lo Khatiya’ from the film Raja Babu. In fact, we hear that Karisma Kapoor even visited the Dabangg 2 sets when Kareena Kapoor was shooting for the song.

“It was great fun. I loved the song… for the first time I have done a pelvic thrust. I have never done that before and Farah Khan has shot it amazingly. I am looking forward to it because it`s a fun song. I hope people love it,” said Kareena.

Arbaaz Khan is making his directorial debut with Dabangg 2, which stars his big brother Salman Khan in the lead role. Her moves for the song has been choreographed by Farah Khan, who earlier made Malaika Arora Khan dance on her moves to forever hit Munni Badnaam Hui from Dabangg.

After stealing the comforts of people with her Halkat jawani now hot Kareena Kapoor is all set to scorch the screen with her new masala item Fevicol Se in the forthcoming Dabangg 2. Helmed by Arbaaz Khan the movie is a sequel to his blockbuster hit Dabangg, it holds the pairing of Salman Khan and Sonakshi Sinha.

If the grapevine is to be believed, fans have declared it an exact replica of the song Halkat Jawani.

There is no doubt over the fact that presently Bebo is going through an adventurous and daring phase of her career; as she is doing a hooker-like role in her forthcoming Talaash, even her last released Heroine presented her in a power packed bold avatar.
