She might have tried every trick in the book to woo the audiences with her latest film DANGEROUS ISHHQ. But, the cruel fact is that none of her hard work has paid her in any sense. So much so that Karisma has been out rightly failed by her audiences.

It’s not only Karisma who is at the receiving end of the audiences taste, the same fate was witnessed by Madhuri Dixit too. In her case she even left the foreign shores in the spirit of making a comeback but unfortunately for her the audiences have given her a unanimous neglect.

The trend of Bollywood moms making a comeback seems to be a boring idea for the audiences. One of the industry veterans describes this trend in these words, “The hype surrounding the comeback of Bollywood moms seems to be based on a false premise. The fact remains that nobody is interested in watching an ageing heroine when it’s the era of sizzle and curves.” More

One would have expected Karisma Kapoor to make her comeback with established stars. But the case is different with “Dangerous Ishq”. She says it’s because the movie required actors with no image.

“These young actors have been cast in ‘Dangerous Ishq’ because we required actors with no image. That’s why they have been cast… and they have been very appropriately cast in the film,” said Karisma.

“Dangerous Ishq” features model-actor Rajniesh Duggal opposite Karisma. It also features model-actor Ruslaan Mumtaz, who made his debut with the film “Mera Pehla Pehla Pyaar”, and Arya Babbar.

Karisma, 37, who is appearing on the big screen after a gap of five years, says the audience, her family and friends led to her returning to films. More

B-town’s cool diva Karisma Kapoor, who has created a huge stir in the industry and fans alike with the first looks of her much anticipated 3D film DANGEROUS ISHHQ, was a special visitor on the sets of her mystery love story director Vikram Bhatt’s other 3D film RAAZ 3!

The glamorous actress paid a special visit to the sets at Centaur Hotel, Juhu and met Mukesh and Mahesh Bhatt as well we hear.

Vikram, Mahesh and Mukesh Bhatt along with Karisma reminisced about their previous experiences and had a great time on the sets.

Bollywood star Karisma Kapoor is looking forward to more of acting in the coming days since her kids have now grown a little older.

Karisma was in Kolkata on Friday to launch a leather product brand. At the event, the actress addressed the media saying, “Since my kids have become a bit older I am looking forward to acting and doing more films. Family is most important to me and so I try to spend all the time with my kids, which is very important.”

Moreover, she also expressed her desire to work in a Bengali film but she said, for that she has to learn the language. Karisma also talked about her upcoming movie DANGEROUS ISHQ, which will be releasing this summer. Source

Actress Kareena Kapoor, who Wednesday unveiled her grandfather Raj Kapoor’s specially designed brass statue, said he was biased towards her elder sister Karisma Kapoor.

“My grandfather Raj Kapoor was biased towards Karisma because both of them had blue eyes. I have green eyes as that of my father,” Kareena told reporters.

“During summer seasons he would give two mangoes to Karisma and I would end up getting just one. I had to work hard to please him,” she added.

The statue was unveiled at the inauguration of UTV Stars’ property Walk of the Stars at the Bandra Bandstand Promenade. The event witnessed the felicitation of the ‘Kapoor Khandan’, one of the legendary families of Indian cinema. More

Contrary to popular misconception, DANGEROUS ISHQ wasn’t originally designed as a ‘comeback vehicle’ of Karisma Kapoor. The film’s script was written well in advance without keeping any particular actress in mind. Later it was pretty much a ‘luck by chance’ moment for both Vikram Bhatt and the actress that the two ended up collaborating with each other.

“I think everything is just about timing,” says Vikram, “Karisma was at that stage in her life where she had decided to do a film. She was willing to give Bollywood a shot and looking for the right script. This was the time when I and my team were sitting with the casting director and Karisma’s name popped up. Yes, we were a little doubtful if she would do it but then the consensus was that she would be fabulous in doing a film like DANGEROUS ISHQ. We thought that what would be wrong in asking and who knows, she may just choose to do it. Once we met, everything fell in place and rest, as they say, is history.” More

Karisma Kapoor, who is known for her exceptional dancing prowess, is geared up to perform an item number in Akshay Kumar’s upcoming flick ROWDY RATHORE.

According to reports, the song will be choreographed by Prabhu Deva. Apparently, South actor Nasser and Bollywood superstar Akshay will also be a part of the song. Karisma is expected to enthrall the audience with her sizzling moves in the song.

Actress Hema Malini is certain that Karishma Kapoor, who is said to be reprising her role in the remake of her 1982 film “Satte Pe Satta”, would be able to justify her character.

“Karishma is a fantastic actor. She would definitely portray the character well in the remake of the film,” Hema told reporters after the Scintillating Jewellery show on the second day of India International Jewellery Week (IIJW) in Mumbai, where she was the showstopper.

Filmmaker Vikram Bhatt has apparently convinced actress Karisma Kapoor to make a comeback with his slick 3D thriller Dangerous Ishq.

Said a source close to the project, “Vikram has met Karisma several times. She loves the script of Dangerous Ishq. It has an author-backed role for her with many shades. Just the kind of character she has been looking for.”

“She has made up her mind to do the film,” the source added.

Kareena and Karisma Kapoor celebrated their dad Randhir’s birthday at a lounge bar in Bandra. Their mom Babita was missing but the rest of the Kapoor clan was in attendance. There were the Kapoor brothers Rishi and Rajiv with their wives, and Rima Jain with her husband Manoj. Even Ranbir Kapoor was part of this impromptu party (see pic alongside) organised by Rima for her older brother.

Kareena took special permission from Karan Johar, her producer, to take leave from the shooting of Short Term Shaadi to attend her dad’s birthday bash. “The venue Bungalow 9 was chosen as B-town celebrities don’t frequent it.

The Kapoors didn’t want to bump into anyone at their private do. Kareena was to shoot till midnight but when her aunt Rima called her, she requested director Shakun Batra to relieve her early and she joined the party. Bebo has an annual tradition. She takes her dad out for a birthday lunch every year.

Says an insider, “Randhir’s face lit up when he saw his two daughters and Ranbir  drop in to wish him.” There were no gifts for Dabboo (Randhir’s pet name) as it’s been a strict rule  followed by the Kapoor clan for years. Karisma and her hubby Sanjay Kapur are at war again. The couple, that has had a troubled marriage from the very time they tied the knot in 2003, is all set to part ways once and for all. After initial reports of a split between the two died down, reports now suggest that the Kapoor lass might be filing for divorce rather very soon. And it’s all owing to Sanjay’s womanizing ways.

The actress is reportedly giving a very serious consideration to divorce on grounds of irreconcilable differences with her hubby. Confirming the news, a source said, “If she has not yet filed it yet, it would be any moment now.”

It’s after much deliberation with her family and friends that the actress has decided to part ways from Sanjay. “The time has come for Karisma to emerge from a bad marriage. She is terribly distraught and very stressed. She has virtually become a loner,” adds the source.

Sanjay Kapur and Karisma married in September 2003. Their first child was born in 2005, their second only in March this year. “Even when Karisma was pregnant with her second child, Sanjay was in the company of some girl. After she delivered her second baby, a son, he started getting cozy with a Delhi socialite,” says the source. More
