It was a celebration time for the unit members of the film Rajniti. By now everyone is aware of the fact that Katrina Kaif is not too polished with her Hindi diction. Recently during the shoots in Bhopal, Prakash Jha who is known for his realistic films wanted Katrina to deliver her dialogues, lengthy ones at that, in chaste Hindi. He asked our pretty Kat to learn it by heart.

Katrina plays a politician in the film (which apparently has been inspired by Sonia Gandhi) and her character is required to speak unadulterated Hindi sans an accent.

Katrina disappeared for hours. And just before the final take, Jha asked Kat to deliver her dialogues once. To everyone’s surprise the actress delivered her dialogues without a mistake. Jha along with his crew were speechless for a second.

The love birds will be thousands of miles away from each other on February 14. Katrina would be shooting Rajkumar Santoshi ’s film Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani with Ranbir Kapoor in Turkey, while Salman would be filming Veer in North India.

Apparently, the two lovers have decided to give their work precedence over their hearts this V-Day. Over the years, their affection for each other has only grown stronger despite the recurring rumours of their split and gossip about Salman’s aggression towards Katrina.

And though Katrina’s being with Ranbir and Salman’s being with Kat’s lookalike on Valentine’s Day is sure to spark further rumours, the secure lovers seem inclined to stay committed to their work, unless the moody Salman makes a change in the plan at the eleventh hour and flies to Turkey to surprise his ladylove.

Recently a famous Mumbai tabloid had broke out the news that Katrina Kaif had agreed to be part of director Rohit Shetty’s next film to be produced by Shetty’s good friend and actor Ajay Devgan.

Given the fact that Shetty has directed comedies like Golmaal, Sunday and Golmaal Returns, it was a forgone conclusion that his film for Devgan’s production house would also be a comedy.

Apparently, Devgan thought of roping in Katrina after he and Salman Khan bonded like thick buddies on the sets of London Dreams.

Unit-members had revealed that the stars who had earlier done a film like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam but unfortunately had not many scenes together, but on the sets of London Dreams the two actors developed a great rapport between them. It was during this time that Ajay Devgan expressed his wish to Salman Khan to cast Katrina in his next home production.

Director Rohit Shetty’s last venture Golmaal Returns was a big hit and Katrina has been a hit in comedy ventures with Akshay Kumar. So it was the apt choice. But now Katrina has had to let go of the film.

Reasons cited were her busy schedule. According to Katrina’s spokesperson, due to lack of dates and her tight schedule, unfortunately, she won’t be part of the project.

Her spokesperson clarifies, “it is unfortunate but Katrina will not be able to do the project, she’s tied up with her other commitments and dates were a big hassle. Hence she will not be doing Rohit Shetty’s film”. Source

According to Yahoo, Deepika Padukone is now the most searched for Bollywood actress, overtaking the previous lead Katrina Kaif, in one crude measure of popuarity. Shilpa Shetty, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Bipasha Basu also featured prominently in the list. Deepika will be popping up in an item number in Billu Barber soon and is currently working on Love Aaj Kal with Saif Ali Khan and Rahul Khanna.

Although Chandni Chowk to China was not as great a success as had been hoped, Deepika’s fringed look in the movie appears to have caught on with the younger generation with stylists suggesting that bangs are back. “Sporting a fringe will be the coolest thing of this year as the style is back in vogue,” says stylist Mallika Bhat, “It hides your age and makes you look younger. Fringe goes well for people who have a broad forehead - when fringes fall on their forehead, it gives a definite shape to their face cut.”

As a style icon, who does Deepika herself look up to? “I look up to Sushmita Sen when it comes to style,” she confesses, “I like to wear clothes that make me feel comfortable. I am not a very brand conscious person. The one thing that is most important for me is comfort. I have to be comfortable in whatever I am wearing.”

Katrina Kaif and John Abraham might be big stars in India. But they are nobodies in New York. This they realized only a while ago.

Interestingly these two are acting in a movie called ‘New York’. Such is the irony of the situation.

The two were denied entry to a nightclub in New York when they were trying to join a party for a crew member on their movie ‘New York’.

A source says, “When they were stopped at the nightclub, they tried to reason with the bouncers that they were well known and respected people from India. John and Katrina told them that they were film stars from India but the bouncers only stared at them. The bouncers had no clue what John and Katrina were talking about.” Source

Katrina Kaif, the most sizzling diva of Bollywood has refused to play
murdered teenager Scarlett Keeling in Prabhakar Shukla’s film titled ‘Rave
Party’. Earlier the vivacious gal was much keen to be a part of this flick, but
when she got to know that the subject was controversial, decided to stay away.
Reports say that Kats has stated that she will not enact in a movie where the
subject has no clarity.

Shukla is now once again on the look for a girl from UK to play the Scarlett,
who was killed on Goa’s beach early last year. The director is also waiting the
approval from Scarlett’s mother as he has sent her the script. Once she

Katrina Kaif may have been the leading lady in the comic capers like “Namastey London”, “Partner”, “Welcome” and “Singh Is Kinng”, but the diva says she is yet to do an “out and out comic role”.

“I think I have yet to do a great comic role. I have done a lot of comedy films but I don’t think I have done an out and out comic role,” she told.

According to Katrina, her character in “Namastey London” was kind of funny but not a real comic role. “I still haven’t really done a comedy yet,” she said. Source

In her latest interview Katrina Kaif has confessed something that not her many fans knew before. The gorgeous head-turner admitted that she is comfortable amidst masses; otherwise she feels deserted. “Actors feel lost without all the attention. I am most comfortable in front of 300 people on a set. Otherwise, I am lost. It’s too much quiet, too much alone,” said the beauty.

In this very interview, Katrina also conceded her dislike for clubbing. “My body can’t afford regular clubbing”, she said.

The actress prefers to have a select group of friends in Bollywood rather than chumming up with every actor she works with. Sadly, Katrina also doesn’t get to spend ample time with her family, which stays in the UK. So the stunner has found the best way to beat her loneliness – by sinking herself into work.
