Apparently, Riya Sen not only refused to shoot the item song with Arunoday Singh (who left for a month-long family event in the US), she also refused to interact with the media that was called to cover the shooting.

Although social networking site Facebook is used by most people for fun and interacting with friends, petite actress Riya Sen uses it for her professional pursuits.
The actress, who walked the ramp in a short white dress by designer Arpan Vohra at the ongoing Lakme Fashion Week (LFW), gets in touch with designers and photographers through the site.
“I met Arpan for the first time through Facebook. I had bought his clothes from Kimaya and I loved them so much that I decided to get in touch with him and tell him to design some more for me. That’s how I got to know him,” Riya, 30, told reporters.
“Facebook is a good medium of getting in touch with people. I had got in touch with another designer, Pam, through it. I have also got in touch with photographers from Paris and some other countries. So you can use this medium to your advantage. I love it and I’m sure, so do a lot of people,” she added.
Arpan’s collection was an extension of the sailor girl style, which have key elements connected to all things nautical including ropes, chords and anchor inspired metal studs and knots. Bollywood bengali babe Riya Sen made her Bengali film debut with a small appearance in director Rituparno Ghosh’s film “Abohamaan”. “I refused every offer I got for Bengali movies as I wanted to start my career in Bengali films with a Rituparno Ghosh film. I was waiting for the right opportunity,” said Riya.
“Abohamaan” is the story of a Bengali filmmaker who marries an actress. The actress sacrifices her career for love and marriage. Later, the director falls in love with another young actress and that leads to a scandal. “Riya has a tiny role, yet it is significant and it is her introduction to Bengali cinema,” said Ghosh. Dipankar Dey, Jisshu Sengupta, Mamata Shankar and Ananya Chatterjee play important roles in the film.
“Abohamaan” was screened Sunday during the 11th Mumbai Film Festival which started Oct 29 and will conclude Nov 5. Riya’s second Bengali movie is also a Rituparno Ghosh film titled “Nouka Dubi” which is scheduled to release next year. Source

Riya Sen is the woman in a genuine problem. The Bengali actress feels she is being stalked. And she has frightening reason for this fear. Over the last 72 hours, three e-mail accounts of Riya’s have been hacked.
“I don’t know what to do,” said a tensed Riya. “I had important and personal information in these accounts and I can’t believe it’s all gone now.” She hasn’t as yet reported the crime to the Cyber Cell of the Mumbai Police. For when her first e-mail account was hacked, the actress just went ahead and created another. “Within minutes, that too was hacked,” said Riya.
She got herself another e-mail account. And then realised that her social networking site had been completely wiped out. “I couldn’t believe what I was seeing,” said Riya. “It’s like somebody walked into my bedroom and caught me unaware.” What is eating her is that her network site had a list of all her celeb friends and the hacker could do untold mischief by going into those details. “It’s killing me and I don’t know what to do,” said Riya. The site also has conversations with friends, photos from private albums, and even scripts sent to her by filmmakers. “All this could be out in the virtual world now. I can’t imagine why anyone would do this,” said the actress. She suspects nobody. But admitted her password is known to her best friend. “Sometimes I cannot access e-mail, so she does it for me, but that’s not an issue, I know her password too.”
