Hrithik Roshan’s grand debut on small screen with dance reality show, Just Dance has left B-Townies asking for more.

Making her admiration public, Sonam Kapoor says she is not so fond of watching television, but has made an exception for Duggu.

“I really enjoyed the show. It was spectacular,” the actress, who follows the popular US dance show informs. “There was actually a performance on a song from Jodha Akbar in the US dance show format,” she quips.

Rooting for Hrithik, Sonam says, “I loved his entry. Only he can dance like that. There is no better person than him to judge a dance show.

It’s hard to even blink when you see him dance onscreen. Even his speech was straight from the heart.” More

The battle of words between Saawariya co-stars, and rumoured ex-couple, Sonam Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor just went into overdrive. In a recent magazine interview, Ranbir was quoted saying, “Sonam said a few things on TV that she shouldn’t have. But I have nothing to say about her since she was just
my co-star.”

Instead, the first choice for the film was the ‘Dabangg’ beauty Sonakshi Sinha, who will now be introduced to Tamil cinema through ‘Viswaroopam’ where she will be cast opposite Kamal Haasan, the other pillar of Kollywood.

The actress who, like Ash, endorses cosmetic giant L’Oreal, walked the red carpet for the ongoing Cannes Film Festival for the first time when she attended the premiere of The Artist at the Palais des Festivals.

The fashionista that she’s known as back home, Sonam floored everybody with her outfit and appearance. The tall actress chose a beautiful white Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown from the designer’s 2009 Spring Couture collection and was an instant hit with the papparazzi.

Sonam paired her fairytale-like dress with Chopard earrings, Salvatore Ferragamo shoes and an Amrapali ring. The geometrical patterned white dress has a mesh overlay and the black print is beautiful but it could have done without the train. Source

Now, if Sonam is all praise for Ranbir suddenly, the real reason is the pressure from her family to refrain from making any nasty comments about Ranbir and Sonam like a good-girl is sticking to this brief.”

When ‘Players’, the Hindi remake of Hollywood hit ‘The Italian Job’ was announced, it was being looked at with keen interest that which Bollywood actress would be roped in to play the part of Charlize Theron. Reason being the heist action thriller had an all-men cast with Charlize being the sole leading lady.

While Abhishek Bachchan and Neil Nitin Mukesh were finalized for the key parts, Sonam Kapoor being announced as the chosen one led to a conclusion that hunt for a leading lady was finally over.

“There was more to it though with Bipasha Basu coming into picture as well”, says a source, “Suddenly the film became a two heroine film. Since Abbas-Mustan had clarified that Bipasha was not in the film for a cameo but instead a full fledged role, tongues started wagging around whether it would be her or Sonam who would be re-enacting the all-important part of Charlize.”

As it has been revealed now, it is an all new part which has been written for Bipasha as the makers wanted to make the film much more glamorized. So while Sonam continues to fill Charlize’s shoes, Bipasha too joins hands with all the boys and gets into an action mode. More

However, the stunning beauty could not convince Kapoor for the role. The debutant director was in search of someone who looked much younger than Katrina and could romance his son Shahid in his flick. So he opted for Sonam Kapoor.

Bollywood actress Sonam Kapoor and South star Rana Daggubatti met at politico Milind Deora’s marriage reception. On the first meeting Rana asked Sonam for her number. Sonam was not too keen to befriend the Daggubatti but he kept messaging her regularly after that until one day.

Every time he uses to be in Mumbai, he would ask Sonam to meet her. So one fine day when they met casually Sonam made him her brother. Ever since the actor became her brother he has stopped messaging as well as meeting. In short, they have lost touch.

If what we hear is true, Madhuri Dixit may soon playing the role of Sonam Kapoor’s mother in Anil Kapoor’s remake of the Hollywood film, Freaky Friday.

The role was previously offered to Shabhana Azmi, Rekha and Kirron Kher who had to turn it down due to date clashes. Since Anil has said that he would like to work with his former leading lady again, he felt that Madhuri suited the role perfectly. Although she likes the script, we are still waiting for confirmation on her part in the film which revolves around a mother and daughter who magically swap roles for a day.

Could this be Madhuri’s comeback from her previous comeback, Aaja Nachle?
