Sunny Leone is the latest Bollywood celebrity to have joined hands with People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA) India.

Actress Sunny Leone is promoting a campaign for the sterilisation of dogs in Mumbai, and this week, she urged people to take care of dogs after they become part of the family.

Leone was taking part in an event organized by the People for Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA).

Leone unveiled her poster and also interacted with media.

“I want that everybody should sterilize their dogs. I hope you guys are very nice to the animals who are out there on the streets. And do sterilize your dogs,” she said.

In order to spread awareness about the cause, Leone said, “You can’t continue the cycle of creating life that can’t be taken care of.” The actor did her bit and helped people understand the importance of sterilisation of dogs, and said that she has adopted two dogs too. Go for it, Sunny! You are doing a good job of spreading a valuable message.

The stunning ad was shot by leading photographer Gaurav Sawn, and Leone’s hair and make-up were done by Ayesha Wadiwala. Leone says, “I believe that every single dog should be spayed and neutered. You don’t want to continue the cycle of homeless dogs or cats. And spaying and neutering also keeps them healthy. It prevents them from having different diseases that they can get if they are not.”

In her Los Angeles home Sunny have two rescued dogs and she adores them to death. Meanwhile, after Jism 2, she has also signed on to star in the sequel to the horror-thriller film Ragini MMS 2, one of the most talked about sleeper hits of 2011.

At Glamour Glitterati 2013, an event which is slated for December 31 in Delhi, Sunny will do her best to mesmerize the audience. Sachin Gupta, the director of the event, gives a taste of what the evening has in store for you.

“Guests can expect the evening to be full of surprises to ring in the New Year. Since Sunny will be gyrating to a medley of Bollywood numbers including ‘Fevicol Se’, ‘Abhi Abhi To Mile Ho’ and ‘Yeh Jism Hai’, we are sure everyone will have a memorable experience,” Sachin Gupta, the director of the event, said. Going by the fact that Sunny enjoys a huge fan base, her performance on Kareena Kapoor’s ‘Fevicol Se’ might get a far better response than the original track.

Sunny Leone is known for her bold and brazen look, both on screen and off. But lo and behold! When the actress attended Ekta Kapoor’s recent house party, no one could recognise the adult film actress. Reason? Sunny was dressed in an ethnic ensemble.

However, can you imagine the same beauties going unnoticed while being in their traditional best? Well, it does happen and this is what we can call an irony. Sources say that recently the porn star-turned-actress Sunny went unrecognized at Ekta Kapoor’s house party.

One of the sources present at the party said, “Everyone was surprised to see Sunny’s new avatar. She looked very comfortable but all the guests kept asking Ekta who she was. Ekta had a tough time explaining people that it was indeed Sunny. Till that day, no one had seen the actress in traditional clothes.”

Ekta too was pleasantly shocked to see Sunny’s makeover and says, “It was the case of Poo bani Parvati! She looked straight out of my TV serials.”

Riding high on the box office success of 1920 Evil Returns, director Bhushan Patel has been signed by Ekta Kapoor for Ragini MMS 2 starring Sunny Leone. It’s the sequel to the 2011 film Ragini MMS.

As the shoot of this Ekta Kapoor’s film is expected to kick-start in around 50 days from now, second time director Bhushan Patel is looking forward to meeting his leading lady Sunny Leone in person much in advance before he starts calling the shots.

”When she was here for Jism 2 promotion, I couldn’t meet her”, says Bhushan, ”However based on the feedback that I have received from other people, she is someone like a girl next door who is very humble and doesn’t make you feel as if you are talking to a huge star.

”She is expected to fly down in late December or early January and once she is in, there would be a 10-15 days workshop planned with her. We would be completing the entire shooting in Mumbai itself.”

After featuring in erotic thriller ‘Jism 2’, porn star-turned-actress Sunny Leone is eyeing family drama and says her next could be from the same genre.

“Yes, definitely I am looking forward to a family drama. I want to do a family- oriented film. Hopefully, if things fall in place, my next would be a light-hearted comedy and a family drama. A few directors have approached me with different roles for family drama. Talks are on but I can’t revel much at this point of time. But I am really looking forward to a family drama,” she said.

In the meantime her second film after debut film Jism 2 is Ekta Kapoor’s Ragini MMS 2, a sequel to 2011 scary movie Ragini MMS, which will be directed by Pawan Kripalani and is apparently based on a real life incident, just like the first film.

“My second film Ragini MMS 2 will go on the floors in January 2013. It’s a horror movie and it’s going to be very scary. I have been reading the script scene by scene and all I can say is that it’s going to be very scary. I heard the music of the film. It’s awesome. The film is going to be more commercial,” said the Indo-Canadian porn star.

The Indo-Canadian porn star Sunny Leone is on cloud nine these days. The 31-year-old made a very successful Bollywood debut with Pooja Bhatt’s film ‘Jism 2’and now she wants to establish herself as a flourishing mainstream actress in the tinsel town.

“My full concentration is now on Bollywood. I want to do different and all kinds of roles, especially playing meaningful characters. I want to establish myself as a successful mainstream actress. In order to become successful in Bollywood, for next two-three years I will stay on in India as I want to give my hundred percent,” said the 31-year-old Indo-Canadian.

“There will be people who won`t like me and there are people who have given me love and support. Since I`m an actress, people should judge me according to my acting skills,” said Sunny.

In the meantime, the actress, who has participated in several reality TV shows in America, revealed how she was spotted by the veteran filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt and was offered a lead role in ‘Jism 2’.

Daniel, who is a guitarist from Los Angeles, is now Sunny’s business manager and heads their joint production company. “No script offered to me is approved without Daniel’s permission. I do not sign any contract without making him read it,” says Sunny. Like Sunny, even Daniel has acted in adult films and now produces them.

It came as a surprise for many when they first learnt about porn star-turned-Bollywood actor Sunny Leone’s marriage to Daniel Weber, who married last year after a courtship of five years. The two share quite a good camaraderie and their understanding is tremendously good.

For those unaware, Daniel a guitarist from Los Angeles, now is Sunny’s business manager and heads their joint production company.

“Aamir Khan is one of my most favourite actors. I would love to do any movie with Aamir Khan,” said the 31-year-old, who has revealed her desire to work with Salman.

Pooja Bhatt’s erotic thriller “Jism 2″ is doing roaring business at the box office. It has managed to rake in an encouraging figure of Rs.21 crore in its opening weekend.

Released Aug 3, “Jism 2″ is the sequel to 2003 film “Jism” and features Sunny Leone, Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda.

Sunny, who is still not fluent in Hindi, said she was working hard on her Hindi accent and worked on the language two-three hours a day during Jism-2.

Sunny Leone turned out to be a rage of sorts in India ever since she entered Bigg Boss house last year. And since then it has been like a fairytale journey for her and it was only in the reality show she signed her first film with Bhatt Productions, titled Jism 2.

Now as the film has hit the screens and she is also receiving praises for her acting, Sunny is gung-ho as she starts working on her next film with Ekta Kapoor, which is a sequel of Ragini MMS. And currently most important for her is to learn Hindi as in her debut film her voice was dubbed by an Indian dubbing artiste Smita Malhotra.

“My Hindi needs improvement. I am definitely using my own voice in my next film. I wish I had worked more closely with my Hindi tutor over my Hindi during Jism 2. I was having so much fun shooting for this film I forgot to concentrate on improving my Hindi. It was a mistake,” she says.

Indo-Canadian star Sunny Leone teamed up with Arunoday Singh and Randeep Hooda in her Bollywood debut “Jism 2″, and now she has expressed a desire to work with Hindi movie star Salman Khan.

“Whoever wants to work with me, I want to work with them. But Salman Khan is on the top of my list,” the 31-year-old said here Sunday during a visit to a theatre for a public interaction.

Recently released “Jism 2” was promoted aggressively before its release and Dino Morea, co-producer of the erotic thriller, says it’s important to promote a film after it hits the screens.

“We got a great opening, the first day was very good. I would like to say that promotions should continue even after the film’s release because you should see how the audience is reacting. Most often after a film’s release, the actors and crew disappear. We don’t want to do that,” the 36-year-old said.

Dino also thanked the public for their positive response to the film.

“Thank you all for coming and buying tickets. We have brought you Sunny and everywhere else it is totally a ‘paisa vasool’ show,” said Dino.
